1. Adam was the father of Seth. Seth was the father of Enosh. Enosh was the father of Kenan.

2. केनान, महललेल, येरेद;

2. Kenan was the father of Mahalalel. Mahalalel was the father of Jared. Jared was the father of Enoch.

3. हनोक, मतूशेलह, लेमेक;

3. Enoch was the father of Methuselah. Methuselah was the father of Lamech, and Lamech was the father of Noah.

4. नूह, शेम, हाम और येपेत ।

4. The sons of Noah were Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

5. येपेत के पुत्रा : गोमेर, मागोग, मादै, सावान, तूबल, मेशेक और तीरास हैं।

5. Japheth's sons were Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras.

6. और गोमेर के पुत्रा : अशकनज, दीपत और तोगर्मा हैं।

6. Gomer's sons were Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah.

7. और यावान के पुत्रा : एलीशा, तश श, और कित्ती और रोदानी लोग हैं।

7. Javan's sons were Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim.

8. हाम के पुत्रा : कुश, मिस्र, पूत और कनान हैं।

8. Ham's sons were Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

10. Cush was the father of Nimrod, who grew up to become a mighty warrior on the earth.

11. और मिस्र से लूदी, अनामी, लहावी, नप्तही।

11. Mizraim was the father of the Ludites, Anamites, Lehabites, and Naphtuhites,

12. पत्रूसी, कसलूही ( वहां से पलिश्ती निकले ) और कप्तोरी उत्पन्न हुए।

12. Pathrusites, Casluhites, and Caphtorites. (The Philistines came from the Casluhites.)

13. कनान से उसका जेठा सीदोन और हित्त।

13. Canaan's first child was Sidon. He was also the father of the Hittites,

14. और यबूसी, एमोरी, गिर्गाशी।

14. Jebusites, Amorites, Girgashites,

15. हिरवी, अक ,सीनी।

15. Hivites, Arkites, Sinites,

16. अर्वदी, समारी और हमाती उत्पन्न हुए।

16. Arvadites, Zemarites, and Hamathites.

17. शेम के पुत्रा : एलाम, अश्शूर, अर्पक्षद, लूद, अराम, ऊस, हूल, गेतेर और मेशेक हैं।

17. Shem's sons were Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram. Aram's sons were Uz, Hul, Gether, and Meshech.

18. और अर्पक्षद से शेलह और शेलह से एबेर उत्पन्न हुआ।

18. Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, who was the father of Eber.

23. ओपीर, हवीला और सोबाब उत्पन्न हुए; ये ही सब योक्तान के पुत्रा हैं।

23. Ophir, Havilah, and Jobab. All these were Joktan's sons.

24. शेम, अर्पक्षद, शेलह।
लूका 3:34-36

24. The family line included Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,

25. एबेर, पेलेग, रू।

25. Eber, Peleg, Reu,

26. सरूग, नाहोर, तेरह,

26. Serug, Nahor, Terah,

27. अब्राम, वही इब्राहीम भी कहलाता है।

27. and Abram, who was called Abraham.

28. इब्राहीम के पुत्रा इसहाक और इश्माएल हैं।
लूका 3:34

28. Abraham's sons were Isaac and Ishmael.

29. इनकी वंशावलियां ये हैं। इश्माएल का जेठा नवायोत, फिर केदार, अदवेल, मिबसाम।

29. These were the sons of Isaac and Ishmael. Ishmael's first son was Nebaioth. His other sons were Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,

30. मिश्मा, दूमा, मस्सा, हदद, तेमा।

30. Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema,

31. यतूर, नापीश, केदमा। ये इश्माएल के पुत्रा हुए।

31. Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These were Ishmael's sons.

32. फिर कतूरा जो इब्राहीम की रखेली थी, उसके ये पुत्रा उत्पन्न हुए, अर्थात् उस से जिम्रान, योक्षान, मदान, मिद्यान, यिशबाक और शूह उत्पन्न हुए। योक्षान के पुत्रा : शबा और ददात।

32. Keturah, Abraham's slave woman, gave birth to Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. Jokshan's sons were Sheba and Dedan.

33. और मिद्यान के पुत्रा : एपा, एपेर, हनोक, अबीदा और एलदा, ये सब कतूरा के पुत्रा हैं।

33. Midian's sons were Ephah, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, and Eldaah. All these were descendants of Keturah.

34. इब्राहीम से इसहाक उत्पन्न हुआ। इसहाक के पुत्रा : एसाव और इस्राएल।
मत्ती 1:2, लूका 3:34

34. Abraham was the father of Isaac, and Isaac's sons were Esau and Israel.

35. एसाव के पुत्रा : एलीपज, रूएल, यूश, यालाम और कोरह हैं।

35. Esau's sons were Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.

36. एलीपज के ये पुत्रा हैं : तेमान, ओमार, सपी, गाताम, कनज, तिम्ना और अपालेक।

36. Eliphaz's sons were Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, Kenaz, Timna, and Amalek.

37. रूएल के पुत्रा : नहत, जेरह, शम्मा और मिज्जा।

37. Reuel's sons were Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

38. फिर सेईर के पुत्रा : लोतान, शोबाल, सिबोेन, अना, दीशोन, एसेर और दीशान हैं।

38. Seir's sons were Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan.

39. और लोतान के पुत्रा : होरी और होमाम, और लोतान की बहिन तिम्ना थीं।

39. Lotan's sons were Hori and Homam, and his sister was Timna.

40. शोबाल के पुत्रा : अल्यान, मानहत, एबाल, शषी और ओनाम।

40. Shobal's sons were Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam. Zibeon's sons were Aiah and Anah.

41. और सिबोन के पुत्रा : अरया, और अना। अना का पुत्रा : दीशोन। और दीशोन के पुत्रा : हम्रान, एशबान, यित्रान और करान।

41. Anah's son was Dishon. Dishon's sons were Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Keran.

42. एसेर के पुत्रा बिल्हान, जाचान और याकान। और दीशान के पुत्रा : ऊस और अरान हैं।

42. Ezer's sons were Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan. Dishan's sons were Uz and Aran.

43. जब किसी राजा ने इस्राएलियों पर राज्य न किया था, तब एदोम के देश में ये राजा हुए : अर्थात् बोर का पुत्रा बेला और उसकी राजधानी का नाम दिन्हाबा था।

43. These kings ruled in Edom before there were kings in Israel. Bela son of Beor was king of Edom, and his city was named Dinhabah.

44. बेला के मरने पर, बोस्राई जेरह का पुत्रा योबाब, उसके स्थान पर राजा हुआ।

44. When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah became king. He was from Bozrah.

45. और योबाब के मरने पर, तेमानियों के देश का हूशाम उसके स्थान पर राजा हुआ।

45. When Jobab died, Husham became king. He was from the land of the Temanites.

46. फिर हूशाम के मरने पर, बदद का पुत्रा हदद, उसके स्थान पर राजा हुआ : यह वही है, जिस ने मिद्यानियों को मोआब के देश में मार लिया; और उसकी राजधानी का नाम अबीत था।

46. When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad became king, and his city was named Avith. Hadad defeated Midian in the country of Moab.

47. और हदद के मरने पर, मस्रेकाई सम्ला उसके स्थान पर राजा हुआ।

47. When Hadad died, Samlah became king. He was from Masrekah.

48. फिर सम्ला के मरने पर शाऊल, जो महानद के तट पर के रहोबोत नगर का था, वह उसके स्थान पर राजा हुआ।

48. When Samlah died, Shaul became king. He was from Rehoboth by the river.

49. When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan son of Acbor became king.

50. When Baal-Hanan died, Hadad became king, and his city was named Pau. Hadad's wife was named Mehetabel, and she was the daughter of Matred, who was the daughter of Me-Zahab.

51. Then Hadad died. The leaders of the family groups of Edom were Timna, Alvah, Jetheth,

52. अधिपति एला, अधिपति पीनोन, अधिपति कनज,

52. Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon,

53. अधिपति तेमान, अधिपति मिबसार, अधिपति मग्दीएल, अधिपति ईराम।

53. Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar,

54. एदोम के ये अधिपति हुए।

54. Magdiel, and Iram. These were the leaders of Edom.
