2. God is the ruler. He makes people fear and respect him. He keeps peace in his kingdom above.

3. क्या उसकी सेनाओं की गिनती हो सकती? और कौन है जिस पर उसका प्रकाश नहीं पड़ता?

3. No one can count his stars. His sun rises on all people.

4. फिर मनुष्य ईश्वर की दृष्टि में धम क्योंकर ठहर सकता है? और जो स्त्री से उत्पन्न हुआ है वह क्योंकर निर्मल हो सकता है?

4. How can anyone claim to be right before God? No human being can really be pure.

5. देख, उसकी दृष्टि में चन्द्रमा भी अन्धेरा ठहरता, और तारे भी निर्मल नहीं ठहरते।

5. In God's eyes even the moon is not pure and bright; even the stars are not pure.

6. फिर मनुष्य की क्या गिनती जो कीड़ा है, और आदमी कहां रहा जो केंचुआ है !

6. People are much less pure. They are like maggots, as worthless as worms!'
