1. फिर यहोवा ने सीनै पर्वत के पास मूसा से कहा,

1. And the Lorde spake vnto Moyses in mout Sinai, saying:

2. इस्त्राएलियों से कह, कि जब तुम उस देश में प्रवेश करो जो मैं तुम्हें देता हूं, तब भूमि को यहोवा के लिये विश्राम मिला करे।

2. Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say vnto them: When ye be come into ye lande which I geue you, the lande shall rest and kepe Sabbath vnto the Lorde.

3. छ: वर्ष तो अपना अपना खेत बोया करना, और छहों वर्ष अपनी अपनी दाख की बारी छांट छांटकर देश की उपज इकट्ठी किया करना;

3. Sixe yeres thou shalt sowe thy fielde, and sixe yeres thou shalt cut thy vineyarde, and gather in the fruite therof.

4. परन्तु सातवें वर्ष भूमि को यहोवा के लिये परमविश्रामकाल मिला करे; उस में न तो अपना खेत बोना और न अपनी दाख की बारी छांटना।

4. But the seuenth yere shalbe a Sabbath of rest vnto the lande, the Lordes Sabbath it shalbe: thou shalt neither sowe thy fielde, nor cut thy vineyarde.

5. जो कुछ काटे हुए खेत में अपने आप से उगे उसे न काटना, और अपनी बिन छांटी हुई दाखलता की दाखों को न तोड़ना; क्योंकि वह भूमि के लिये परमविश्राम का वर्ष होगा।

5. That which groweth of the owne accorde of thy haruest, thou shalt not reape, neither gather the grapes that thou hast left behynde: for it is a yere of rest vnto the lande.

6. और भूमि के विश्रामकाल ही की उपज से तुम को, और तुम्हारे दास- दासी को, और तुम्हारे साथ रहनेवाले मजदूरों और परदेशियों को भी भोजन मिलेगा;

6. And the rest of the lande shalbe meate for you, euen for thee, for thy seruaunt, & for thy mayde, for thy hired seruaunt, and for the straunger that soiourneth with thee:

7. और तुम्हारे पशुओं का और देश में जितने जीवजन्तु हों उनका भी भोजन भूमि की सब उपज से होगा।।

7. And for thy cattell, and for the beastes that are in thy lande, shall all the encrease therof be meate.

8. और सात विश्रामवर्ष, अर्थात् सातगुना सात वर्ष गिन लेना, सातों विश्रामवर्षों का यह समय उनचास वर्ष होगा।

8. And thou shalt number seuen Sabbathes of yeres vnto thee, euen seuen tymes seuen yere, and the space of the seuen Sabbathes of yeres wylbe vnto thee nine and fourtie yeres.

9. तब सातवें महीने के दसवें दिन को, अर्थात् प्रायश्चित्त के दिन, जय जयकार के महाशब्द का नरसिंगा अपने सारे देश में सब कहीं फुंकवाना।

9. And then thou shalt cause to blowe the trumpet of the Iubilee in the tenth day of the seuenth moneth, euen in ye day of attonement shal ye make the trumpe blowe throughout all your lande.

10. और उस पचासवें वर्ष को पवित्रा करके मानना, और देश के सारे निवासियों के लिये छुटकारे का प्रचार करना; वह वर्ष तुम्हारे यहां जुबली कहलाए; उस में तुम अपनी अपनी निज भूमि और अपने अपने घराने में लौटने पाओगे।

10. And ye shall halowe that yere, euen the fiftieth yere, and proclayme libertie throughout all the lande vnto all the inhabiters thereof: for it shalbe a Iubilee vnto you, and ye shall returne euery man vnto his possession, and euery man vnto his kinred agayne.

11. तुम्हारे यहां वह पचासवां वर्ष जुबली का वर्ष कहलाए; उस में तुम न बोना, और जो अपने आप ऊगे उसे भी न काटना, और न बिन छांटी हुई दाखलता की दाखों को तोड़ना।

11. A yere of Iubilee shal that fiftieth yere be vnto you: Ye shall not sowe, neither reape that which groweth of it selfe, neither gather the grapes that are left:

12. क्योंकि वह जो जुबली का वर्ष होगा; वह तुम्हारे लिये पवित्रा होगा; तुम उसकी उपज खेत ही में से ले लेके खाना।

12. For that yere of Iubilee shalbe holy vnto you: but ye shall eate of the encrease therof out of the fielde.

13. इस जुबली के वर्ष में तुम अपनी अपनी निज भूमि को लौटने पाओगे।

13. In the yere of this Iubilee ye shall returne euery man vnto his possession agayne.

14. और यदि तुम अपने भाईबन्धु के हाथ कुछ बेचो वा अपने भाईबन्धु से कुछ मोल लो, तो तुम एक दूसरे पर अन्धेर न करना।

14. If thou sellest ought vnto thy neyghbour, or byest ought of thy neyghbours hande, ye shal not oppresse one another.

15. जुबली के पीछे जितने वर्ष बीते हों उनकी गिनती के अनुसार दाम ठहराके एक दूसरे से मोल लेना, और शेष वर्षों की उपज के अनुसार वह तेरे हाथ बेचे।

15. But according to the number of yeres after the Iubilee yere thou shalt bye of thy neighbour: and accordyng vnto the number of yeres of the fruites he shall sell vnto thee.

16. जितने वर्ष और रहें उतना ही दाम बढ़ाना, और जितने वर्ष कम रहें उतना ही दाम घटाना, क्योंकि वर्ष की उपज जितनी हों उतनी ही वह तेरे हाथ बेचेगा।

16. According vnto the multitude of yeres he shall encrease the price therof, and according to the fewnesse of yeres, he shal minishe the price of it: for the number of fruites doth he sell vnto thee.

17. और तुम अपने अपने भाईबन्धु पर अन्धेर न करना; अपने परमेश्वर का भय मानना; मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर यहोवा हूं।

17. Oppresse not ye therfore euery man his neighbour, but thou shalt feare thy God: For I am the Lorde your God.

18. इसलिये तुम मेरी विधियों को मानना, और मेरे नियमों पर समझ बूझकर चलना; क्योंकि ऐसा करने से तुम उस देश में निडर बसे रहोगे।

18. Wherfore ye shall do after myne ordinaunces, and kepe my lawes, and do them, and ye shall dwell in the lande in safetie.

19. और भूमि अपनी उपज उपजाया करेगी, और तुम पेट भर खाया करोगे, और उस देश में निडर बसे रहोगे।

19. And the lande shall geue her fruite, and ye shall eate your fyll, and dwell therin in safetie.

20. और यदि तुम कहो, कि सातवें वर्ष में हम क्या खाएंगे, न तो हम बोएंगे न अपने खेत की उपज इकट्ठी करेंगे?

20. And yf ye shall say, what shall we eate the seuenth yere? for we shall not sowe, nor gather in our increase:

21. तो जानो कि मैं तुम को छठवें वर्ष में ऐसी आशीष दूंगा, कि भूमि की उपज तीन वर्ष तक काम आएगी।

21. I wyll sende my blessyng vpon you in the sixt yere, and it shall bryng foorth fruite for three yeres.

22. तुम आठवें वर्ष में बोओगे, और पुरानी उपज में से खाते रहोगे, और नवें वर्ष की उपज में से खाते रहोगे।

22. And ye shall sowe the eyght yere, and eate yet of olde fruite vntyll the ninth yere: euen vntill her fruites come ye shall eate of olde store.

23. भूमि सदा के लिये तो बेची न जाए, क्योंकि भूमि मेरी है; और उस में तुम परदेशी और बाहरी होगे।

23. The lande shall not be solde to waste: for the lande is myne, & ye be but staungers and soiourners with me.

24. लेकिन तुम अपने भाग के सारे देश में भूमि को छुड़ा लेने देना।।

24. In all the lande of your possession, ye shal graunt a redemption for ye lande.

25. यदि तेरा कोई भाईबन्धु कंगाल होकर अपनी निज भूमि में से कुछ बेच डाले, तो उसके कुटुम्बियों में से जो सब से निकट हो वह आकर अपने भाईबन्धु के बेचे हुए भाग को छुड़ा ले।

25. If thy brother be waxed poore, and hath solde away of his possession, and yf any of his kinne come to redeeme it, let hym bye out that which his brother solde.

26. और यदि किसी मनुष्य के लिये कोई छुड़ानेवाला न हो, और उसके पास इतना धन हो कि आप ही अपने भाग को छुड़ा ले सके,

26. And yf he haue no man to redeeme it, and his hande hath gotten and founde as much as may be sufficient to bye it out agayne:

27. तो वह उसके बिकने के समय से वर्षों की गिनती करके शेष वर्षों की उपज का दाम उसको जिस ने उसे मोल लिया हो फेर दे; तब वह अपनी निज भूमि का अधिकारी हो जाए।

27. The let hym count howe long it hath ben solde, and delyuer the rest vnto the man to whom he solde it, that he may returne to his possession agayne.

28. परन्तु यदि उसके इतनी पूंजी न हो कि उसे फिर अपनी कर सके, तो उसकी बेची हुई भूमि जुबली के वर्ष तक मोल लेनेवालों के हाथ में रहे; और जुबली के वर्ष में छूट जाए तब वह मनुष्य अपनी निज भूमि का फिर अधिकारी हो जाए।।

28. But and yf his hande can not get sufficient to restore to the other agayne, the that which is solde shal remayne in the hande of hym that hath bought it, vntyll the yere of Iubilee: and in the Iubilee it shall come out, and he shall returne vnto his possession agayne.

29. फिर यदि कोई मनुष्य शहरपनाह वाले नगर में बसने का घर बेचे, तो वह बेचने के बाद वर्ष भर के अन्दर उसे छुड़ा सकेगा, अर्थात् पूरे वर्ष भर उस मनुष्य को छुड़ाने का अधिकार रहेगा।

29. And yf a man sell a dwellyng house in a walled citie, he may bye it out agayne within a whole yere after it is solde: within a yere may he redeeme it.

30. परन्तु यदि वह वर्ष भर में न छुड़ाए, तो वह घर पर शहरपनाहवाले नगर में हो मोल लेनेवाले का बना रहे, और पीढ़ी- पीढ़ी में उसी मे वंश का बना रहे; और जुबली के वर्ष में भी न छूटे।

30. But and yf he bye it not out agayne within the space of a full yere, then the house that is in the walled citie, shalbe stablished, as translated to hym that bought it and his successours after hym, & shall not go out in the Iubilee.

31. परन्तु बिना शहरपनाह के गांवों के घर तो देश के खेतों के समान गिने जाएं; उनका छुड़ाना भी हो सकेगा, और वे जुबली के वर्ष में छूट जाएं।

31. But the houses of vyllages, which haue no walles rounde about them, are counted as the fielde of the coutrey: and therefore they may be bought out agayne, and shal go out in the Iubilee.

32. और लेवियों के निज भाग के नगरों के जो घर हों उनको लेवीय जब चाहें तब छुड़ाएं।

32. Notwithstandyng, the cities of the Leuites, and the houses of the cities of their possession, may the Leuites redeeme at all seasons.

33. और यदि कोई लेवीय अपना भाग न छुड़ाए, तो वह बेचा हुआ घर जो उसके भाग के नगर में हो जुबली के वर्ष में छूट जाए; क्योंकि इस्त्राएलियों के बीच लेवियों का भाग उनके नगरों में वे घर ही हैं।

33. And yf a man purchase of the Leuites, the house that was solde, and the citie of their possession, shall go out in the yere of Iubilee: for the houses of the cities of the Leuites, are their possession among the children of Israel.

34. और उनके नगरों की चारों ओर की चराई की भूमि बेची न जाए; क्योंकि वह उनका सदा का भाग होगा।।

34. But the fielde of the suburbes of their cities may not be solde: for it is their perpetuall possession.

35. फिर यदि तेरा कोई भाईबन्धु कंगाल हो जाए, और उसकी दशा तेरे साम्हने तरस योग्य हो जाए, तो तू उसको संभालना; वह परदेशी वा यात्री की नाई तेरे संग रहे।
लूका 6:35

35. If thy brother be waxen poore and fallen in decay with thee, thou shalt relieue hym as a straunger or soiourner, that he may lyue with thee.

36. उस से ब्याज वा बढ़ती न लेना; अपने परमेश्वर का भय मानना; जिस से तेरा भाईबन्धु तेरे संग जीवन निर्वाह कर सके।
लूका 6:35

36. And thou shalt take none vsurie of hym, or vantage: but thou shalt feare thy God, that thy brother may lyue with thee.

37. उसको ब्याज पर रूपया न देना, और न उसको भोजनवस्तु लाभ के लालच से देना।

37. Thou shalt not geue hym thy money vpon vsurie, nor lende him thy victuels for encrease.

38. मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर यहोवा हूं; मैं तुम्हें कनान देश देने के लिये और तुम्हारा परमेश्वर ठहरने की मनसा से तुम को मि देश से निकाल लाया हूं।।

38. I am the Lorde your God, which brought you out of the lande of Egypt, to geue you the lande of Chanaan, and to be your God.

39. फिर यदि तेरा कोई भाईबन्धु तेरे साम्हने कंगाल होकर अपने आप को तेरे हाथ बेच डाले, तो उस से दास के समान सेवा न करवाना।

39. If thy brother that dwelleth by thee be waxen poore, and be solde vnto thee, thou shalt not compell hym to serue as a bonde seruaunt:

40. वह तेरे संग मजदूर वा यात्री की नाई रहे, और जुबली के वर्ष तक तेरे संग रहकर सेवा करता रहे;

40. But as an hired seruaunt, and as a soiourner he shalbe with thee, and shall serue thee vnto the yere of Iubilee.

41. तब वह बालबच्चों समेत तेरे पास से निकल जाए, और अपने कुटुम्ब में और अपने पितरों की निज भूमि में लौट जाए।

41. And then shall he depart from thee, both he and his children with hym, and shall returne vnto his owne kinred agayne, and vnto the possession of his fathers shall he returne.

42. क्योंकि वे मेरे ही दास हैं, जिनको मैं मि देश से निकाल लाया हूं; इसलिये वे दास की रीति से न बेचे जाएं।

42. For they are my seruauntes, which I brought out of the lande of Egypt, and shall not therfore be solde as bondmen.

43. उस पर कठोरता से अधिकार न करना; अपने परमेश्वर का भय मानते रहना।
कुलुस्सियों 4:1

43. Thou shalt not rule ouer hym cruelly, but shalt feare thy God.

44. तेरे जो दास- दासियां हों वे तुम्हारी चारों ओर की जातियों में से हों, और दास और दासियां उन्हीं में से मोल लेना।

44. Thy bondseruaunt and thy bondemayde which thou shalt haue, shalbe of the heathen that are rounde about you: of them shall ye purchase seruauntes and maydes.

45. और जो यात्री लोग तुम्हारे बीच में परदेशी होकर रहेंगे, उन में से और उनके घरानों में से भी जो तुमहारे आस पास हों, और जो तुम्हारे देश में उत्पन्न हुए हों, उन में से तुम दास और दासी मोल लो; और वे तुम्हारा भाग ठहरें।

45. Moreouer, of the children of ye straungers that are soiourners among you, of them shall ye bye, & of their families that are with you, which they begat in your lande: these shalbe your possession.

46. और तुम अपने पुत्रों को भी जो तुम्हारे बाद होंगे उनके अधिकारी कर सकोगे, और वे उनका भाग ठहरें; उन में से तुम सदा अपने लिये दास लिया करना, परन्तु तुम्हारे भाईबन्धु जो इस्त्राएली हों उन पर अपना अधिकार कठोरता से न जताना।।

46. And ye shall take them as inheritauce for your children after yon, to possesse them for an inheritaunce, they shalbe your bondmen for euer: but ouer your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one ouer another cruelly.

47. फिर यदि तेरे साम्हने कोई परदेशी वा यात्री धनी हो जाए, और उसके साम्हने तेरा भाई कंगाल होकर अपने आप को तेरे साम्हने उस परदेशी वा यात्री वा उसके वंश के हाथ बेच डाले,

47. If a soiourner or straunger waxe riche by thee, and thy brother that dwelleth by hym waxe poore, and sell hym selfe vnto the straunger or soiourner by thee, or to the stocke of the straungers kinne:

48. तो उसके बिक जाने के बाद वह फिर छुड़ाया जा सकता है; उसके भाइयों में से कोई उसको छुड़ा सकता है,

48. After that he is solde, he may be redeemed agayne: one of his brethren may redeeme hym:

49. वा उसका चाचा, वा चचेरा भाई, तथा उसके कुल का कोई भी निकट कुटुम्बी उसको छुड़ा सकता है; वा यदि वह धनी हो जाए, तो वह आप ही अपने को छुड़ा सकता है।

49. Either his vncle, or his vncles sonne may bye hym out: or any that is nye of kinne vnto hym of his kinred, may redeeme hym: either yf his hande can get so much, he may be bought out.

50. वह अपने मोल लेनेवाले के साथ अपने बिकने के वर्ष से जुबली के वर्ष तक हिसाब करे, और उसके बिकने का दाम वर्षों की गिनती के अनुसार हो, अर्थात् वह दाम मजदूर के दिवसों के समान उसके साथ होगा।

50. And he shall recken with hym that bought hym, from the yere that he was solde in, vnto the yere of Iubilee: and the price of his beyng, shalbe accordyng vnto the number of yeres, according to the tyme of an hired seruaunt shall he be with hym.

51. यदि जुबली के बहुत वर्ष रह जाएं, तो जितने रूपयों से वह मोल लिया गया हो उन में से वह अपने छुड़ाने का दाम उतने वर्षों के अनुसार फेर दे।

51. If there be yet many yeres behynde, accordyng vnto them let hym geue againe for his deliueraunce, of the money that he was bought for.

52. और यदि जुबली के वर्ष के थोड़े वर्ष रह गए हों, तौभी वह अपने स्वामी के साथ हिसाब करके अपने छुड़ाने का दाम उतने ही वर्षों के अनुसार फेर दे।

52. If there remayne but fewe yeres vnto the yere of Iubilee, let hym count with hym agayne: and accordyng vnto his yeres, geue hym agayne for his redemption.

53. वह अपने स्वामी के संग उस मजदूर के सामान रहे जिसकी वार्षिक मजदूरी ठहराई जाती हो; और उसका स्वामी उस पर तेरे साम्हने कठोरता से अधिकार न जताने पाए।
कुलुस्सियों 4:1

53. And he shalbe with hym yere by yere as an hired seruaunt: and the other shal not raigne cruelly ouer him in thy sight.

54. और यदि वह इन रीतियों से छुड़ाया न जाए, तो वह जुबली के वर्ष में अपने बाल- बच्चों समेत छूट जाए।

54. If he be not redeemed thus, he shall go out in the yere of Iubilee, both he and his children with hym:

55. क्योंकि इस्त्राएली मेरे ही दास हैं; वे मि देश से मेरे ही निकाले हुए दास हैं; मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर यहोवा हूं।।

55. For vnto me the children of Israel are seruauntes, they are my seruauntes which I brought out of the lande of Egypt: I am the Lorde your God.
