3. यहोवा की आंखें सब स्थानों में लगी रहती हैं, वह बुरे भले दोनों को देखती रहती हैं।

4. शान्ति देनेवाली बात जीवन- वृक्ष है, परन्तु उलट फेर की बात से आत्मा दु:खित होती है।

5. मूढ़ अपने पिता की शिक्षा का तिरस्कार करता है, परन्तु जो डांट को मानता, वह चतुर हो जाता है।

5. Moral dropouts won't listen to their elders; welcoming correction is a mark of good sense.

6. धर्मी के घर में बहुत धन रहता है, परन्तु दुष्ट के उपार्जन में दु:ख रहता है।

6. The lives of God-loyal people flourish; a misspent life is soon bankrupt.

7. बुद्धिमान लोग बातें करने से ज्ञान को फैलाते हैं, परन्तु मूर्खों का मन ठीक नहीं रहता।

7. Perceptive words spread knowledge; fools are hollow--there's nothing to them.

8. दुष्ट लोगों के बलिदान से यहोवा धृणा करता है, परन्तु वह सीधे लोगों की प्रार्थना से प्रसन्न होता है।

8. GOD can't stand pious poses, but he delights in genuine prayers.

9. दुष्ट के चालचलन से यहोवा को घृणा आती है, परन्तु जो धर्म का पीछा करता उस से वह प्रेम रखता है।

9. A life frittered away disgusts GOD; he loves those who run straight for the finish line.

10. जो मार्ग को छोड़ देता, उसको बड़ी ताड़ना मिलती है, और जो डांट से बैर रखता, वह अवश्य मर जाता है।

10. It's a school of hard knocks for those who leave God's path, a dead-end street for those who hate God's rules.

11. जब कि अधोलोक और विनाशलोक यहोवा के साम्हने खुले रहते हैं, तो निश्चय मनुष्यों के मन भी।

11. Even hell holds no secrets from GOD-- do you think he can't read human hearts?

12. ठट्ठा करनेवाला डांटे जाने से प्रसन्न नहीं होता, और न वह बुद्धिमानों के पास जाता है।

12. Know-it-alls don't like being told what to do; they avoid the company of wise men and women.

13. मन आनन्दित होने से मुख पर भी प्रसन्नता छा जाती है, परन्तु मन के दु:ख से आत्मा निराश होती है।

13. A cheerful heart brings a smile to your face; a sad heart makes it hard to get through the day.

14. समझनेवाले का मन ज्ञान की खोज में रहता है, परन्तु मूर्ख लोग मूढ़ता से पेट भरते हैं।

14. An intelligent person is always eager to take in more truth; fools feed on fast-food fads and fancies.

15. दुखिया के सब दिन दु:ख भरे रहते हैं, परन्तु जिसका मन प्रसन्न रहता है, वह मानो नित्य भोज में जाता है।

15. A miserable heart means a miserable life; a cheerful heart fills the day with song.

16. घबराहट के साथ बहुत रखे हुए धन से, यहोवा के भय के साथ थोड़ा ही धन उत्तम है,

16. A simple life in the Fear-of-GOD is better than a rich life with a ton of headaches.

17. प्रेम वाले घर में सागपात का भोजन, बैर वाले घर में पाले हुए बैल का मांस खाने से उत्तम है।

17. Better a bread crust shared in love than a slab of prime rib served in hate.

18. क्रोधी पुरूष झगड़ा मचाता है, परन्तु जो विलम्ब से क्रोध करनेवाला है, वह मुक मों को दबा देता है।

18. Hot tempers start fights; a calm, cool spirit keeps the peace.

19. आलसी का मार्ग कांटों से रून्धा हुआ होता है, परन्तु सीधे लोगों का मार्ग राजमार्ग ठहरता है।

19. The path of lazy people is overgrown with briers; the diligent walk down a smooth road.

20. बुद्धिमान पुत्रा से पिता आनन्दित होता है, परन्तु मूर्ख अपनी माता को तुच्छ जानता है।

20. Intelligent children make their parents proud; lazy students embarrass their parents.

21. निर्बुद्धि को मूढ़ता से आनन्द होता है, परन्तु समझवाला मनुष्य सीधी चाल चलता है।

21. The empty-headed treat life as a plaything; the perceptive grasp its meaning and make a go of it.

22. बिना सम्मति की कल्पनाएं निष्फल हुआ करती हैं, परन्तु बहुत से मंत्रियों की सम्मत्ति से बात ठहरती है।

22. Refuse good advice and watch your plans fail; take good counsel and watch them succeed.

23. सज्जन उत्तर देने से आनन्दित होता है, और अवसर पर कहा हुआ वचन क्या ही भला होता है!

23. Congenial conversation--what a pleasure! The right word at the right time--beautiful!

24. बुद्धिमान के लिये जीवन का मार्ग ऊपर की ओर जाता है, इस रीति से वह अधोलोक में पड़ने से बच जाता है।

24. Life ascends to the heights for the thoughtful-- it's a clean about-face from descent into hell.

25. यहोवा अहंकारियों के घर को ढा देता है, परन्तु विधवा के सिवाने को अटल रखता है।

25. GOD smashes the pretensions of the arrogant; he stands with those who have no standing.

26. बुरी कल्पनाएं यहोवा को घिनौनी लगती हैं, परन्तु शुद्ध जन के वचन मनभावने हैं।

26. GOD can't stand evil scheming, but he puts words of grace and beauty on display.

27. लालची अपने घराने को दु:ख देता है, परन्तु घूस से घृणा करनेवाला जीवित रहता है।

27. A greedy and grasping person destroys community; those who refuse to exploit live and let live.

28. धर्मी मन में सोचता है कि क्या उत्तर दूं, परन्तु दुष्टों के मुंह से बुरी बातें उबल आती हैं।

28. Prayerful answers come from God-loyal people; the wicked are sewers of abuse.

29. यहोवा दुष्टों से दूर रहता है, परन्तु धर्मियों की प्रार्थना सुनता है।

33. यहोवा के भय मानने से शिक्षा प्राप्त होती है, और महिमा से पहिले नम्रता होती है।।

33. Fear-of-GOD is a school in skilled living-- first you learn humility, then you experience glory.
