1. मैं परमेश्वर की दोहाई चिल्ला चिल्लाकर दूंगा, मैं परमेश्वर की दोहाई दूंगा, और वह मेरी ओर कान लगाएगा।

1. To the chanter, for Iduthun a Psalm of Asaph. I cried unto God with my voice, yea (even) unto God cried I with my voice, and he heard me.

2. संकट के दिन मैं प्रभु की खोज में लगा रहा; रात को मेरा हाथ फैला रहा, और ढीला न हुआ, मुझ में शांति आई ही नहीं।

2. In the time of my trouble I sought the Lord,(LORDE) I held up mine hands to him in the night season, for my soul refused all other comfort.

3. मैं परमेश्वर का स्मरण कर करके कहरता हूं; मैं चिन्ता करते करते मूर्छित हो चला हूं। (सेला)

3. When I was in heaviness, I thought upon God: when my heart was vexed, then did I speak. Selah.

4. तू मुझे झपकी लगने नहीं देता; मैं ऐसा घबराया हूं कि मेरे मुंह से बात नहीं निकलती।।

4. Thou heldest mine eyes waking, I was so feeble, that I could not speak.

5. मैं प्राचीनकाल के दिनों को, और युग युग के वर्षों को सोचा है।

5. Then remember I the times of old, and the years that were past.

6. मैं रात के समय अपने गीत को स्मरण करता; और मन में ध्यान करता हूं, और मन में भली भांति विचार करता हूं:

6. I called to remembrance my song in the night, I communed with mine own heart, and sought out my spirit.

7. क्या प्रभु युग युग के लिये छोड़ देगा; और फिर कभी प्रसन्न न होगा?

7. Will the Lord(LORDE) cast out forever? Will he be no more intreated?

8. क्या उसकी करूणा सदा के लिये जाती रही? क्या उसका वचन पीढ़ी पीढ़ी के लिये निष्फल हो गया है?

8. Is his mercy clean gone? Is his promise come utterly to an end for evermore?

9. क्या ईश्वर अनुग्रह करना भूल गया? क्या उस ने क्रोध करके अपनी सब दया को रोक रखा है? (सेला)

9. Hath the Lord(God) forgotten to be gracious? Or, hath he shut up his loving-kindness in displeasure? Selah.

10. मैने कहा यह तो मेरी दुर्बलता ही है, परन्तु मैं परमप्रधान के दहिने हाथ के वर्षों को विचारता हूं।।

10. At the last, I came to this point, that I thought: O why art thou so foolish? the right hand of the most highest(hyest) can change all.

11. मैं याह के बड़े कामों की चर्चा करूंगा; निश्चय मैं तेरे प्राचीनकालवाले अद्भुत कामों को स्मरण करूंगा।

11. Therefore will I remember the works of the LORD, and call to mind thy wonders of old time.

12. मैं तेरे सब कामों पर ध्यान करूंगा, और तेरे बड़े कामों को सोचूंगा।

12. I will speak of all thy works, and my talking shall be of thy doings.

13. हे परमेश्वर तेरी गति पवित्राता की है। कौन सा देवता परमेश्वर के तुल्य बड़ा है?

13. Thy way, O God, is holy: who is so great and mighty as God?

14. अद्भुत काम करनेवाला ईश्वर तू ही है, तू ने अपने देश देश के लोगों पर अपनी शक्ति प्रगट की है।

14. Thou art the God that doth wonders, thou hast declared thy power among the people.

15. तू ने अपने भुजबल से अपनी प्रजा, याकूब और यूसुफ के वंश को छुड़ा लिया है।। (सेला)

15. Thou with thine arm hast delivered thy people, even the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

16. हे परमेश्वर समुद्र ने तुझे देखा, समुद्र तुझे देखकर ड़र गया, गहिरा सागर भी कांप उठा।

16. The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee, and were afraid, the depths were moved.

17. मेघों से बड़ी वर्षा हुई; आकाश से शब्द हुआ; फिर तेरे तीर इधर उधर चले।

17. The thick clouds poured out water, the clouds thundered, and thine arrows went abroad.

18. बवणडर में तेरे गरजने का शब्द सुन पड़ा था; जगत बिजली से प्रकाशित हुआ; पृथ्वी कांपी और हिल गई।

18. Thy thunder was heard round about, the lightnings shone upon the ground, the earth was moved and shook withall.

19. तेरे मार्ग समुद्र में है, और तेरा रास्ता गहिरे जल में हुआ; और तेरे पांवों के चिन्ह मालम नहीं होते।

19. Thy way is in the sea, and thy paths in the great waters, yet could no man know thy footsteps.

20. तू ने मूसा और हारून के द्धारा, अपनी प्रजा की अगुवाई भेड़ों की सी की।।

20. Thou leadest thy people like a flock of sheep, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
