7. I wondered, 'Has our Lord rejected us forever? Will he ever accept us again?

8. क्या उसकी करूणा सदा के लिये जाती रही? क्या उसका वचन पीढ़ी पीढ़ी के लिये निष्फल हो गया है?

8. Is his love gone forever? Will he never again speak to us?

9. क्या ईश्वर अनुग्रह करना भूल गया? क्या उस ने क्रोध करके अपनी सब दया को रोक रखा है? (सेला)

10. मैने कहा यह तो मेरी दुर्बलता ही है, परन्तु मैं परमप्रधान के दहिने हाथ के वर्षों को विचारता हूं।।

10. Then I said to myself, 'What bothers me most is the thought that God Most High has lost his power.'

11. मैं याह के बड़े कामों की चर्चा करूंगा; निश्चय मैं तेरे प्राचीनकालवाले अद्भुत कामों को स्मरण करूंगा।

11. Lord, I remember what you have done. I remember the amazing things you did long ago.

12. मैं तेरे सब कामों पर ध्यान करूंगा, और तेरे बड़े कामों को सोचूंगा।

12. I think about those things. I think about them all the time.

13. हे परमेश्वर तेरी गति पवित्राता की है। कौन सा देवता परमेश्वर के तुल्य बड़ा है?

13. God, all that you do is holy. No god is as great as you are.

14. अद्भुत काम करनेवाला ईश्वर तू ही है, तू ने अपने देश देश के लोगों पर अपनी शक्ति प्रगट की है।

14. You are the God who does amazing things. You showed the nations your great power.

15. तू ने अपने भुजबल से अपनी प्रजा, याकूब और यूसुफ के वंश को छुड़ा लिया है।। (सेला)

15. By your power you saved your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph. Selah

16. हे परमेश्वर समुद्र ने तुझे देखा, समुद्र तुझे देखकर ड़र गया, गहिरा सागर भी कांप उठा।

16. God, the water saw you and became afraid. The deep water shook with fear.

17. मेघों से बड़ी वर्षा हुई; आकाश से शब्द हुआ; फिर तेरे तीर इधर उधर चले।

17. The thick clouds dropped their water. Thunder roared in the sky above. Your arrows of lightning flashed through the clouds.

18. बवणडर में तेरे गरजने का शब्द सुन पड़ा था; जगत बिजली से प्रकाशित हुआ; पृथ्वी कांपी और हिल गई।

18. There were loud claps of thunder. Lightning lit up the world. The earth shook and trembled.

19. तेरे मार्ग समुद्र में है, और तेरा रास्ता गहिरे जल में हुआ; और तेरे पांवों के चिन्ह मालम नहीं होते।

19. You walked through the water and crossed the deep sea, but you left no footprints.

20. तू ने मूसा और हारून के द्धारा, अपनी प्रजा की अगुवाई भेड़ों की सी की।।

20. You led your people like sheep, using Moses and Aaron to guide them.
