1. इस्राएल अब यह कहे, कि मेरे बचपन से लोग मुझे बार बार क्लेश देते आए हैं,

3. हलवाहों ने मेरी पीठ के ऊपर हल चलाया, और लम्बी लम्बी रेखाएं कीं।

4. यहोवा धर्मी है; उस ने दुष्टों के फन्दों को काट डाला है।

5. जितने सिरयोन से बैर रखते हैं, उन सभों की आशा टूटे, ओर उनको पीछे हटना पड़े!

5. Let all who hate Zion be driven back in disgrace.

6. वे छत पर की घास के समान हों, जो बढ़ने से पहिले सूख जाती है;

6. Let them be like grass on the rooftops, which withers before it grows up

7. जिस से कोई लवैया अपनी मुट्ठी नहीं भरता, न पूलियों का कोई बान्धनेवाला अपनी अंकवार भर पाता है,

7. and can't even fill the hands of the reaper or the arms of the one who binds sheaves.

8. और न आने जानेवाले यह कहते हैं, कि यहोवा की आशीष तुम पर होवे! हम तुम को यहोवा के नाम से आशीर्वाद देते हैं!

8. Then none who pass by will say, 'May the LORD's blessing be on you.' We bless you in the name of the LORD.
