1. यरदन पार सूर्योदय की ओर, अर्थात् अर्नोन नाले से लेकर हेर्मोन पर्वत तक के देश, और सारे पूर्वी अराबा के जिन राजाओं को इस्राएलियों ने मारकर उनके देश को अपने अधिकार में कर लिया था ये हैं;

1. Now, these, are the kings of the land, whom the sons of Israel had smitten, and of whose land they had taken possession, over the Jordan, towards the rising of the sun, from the ravine of Arnon, as far as Mount Hermon, and all the waste plain, on the east:

2. एमोरियों का हेशबोनवासी राजा सीहोन, जो अर्नोन नाले के किनारे के अरोएर से लेकर, और उसी नाले के बीच के नगर को छोड़कर यब्बोक नदी तक, जो अम्मोनियों का सिवाना है, आधे गिलाद पर,

6. इस्राएलियों और यहोवा के दास मूसा ने इनको मार लिया; और यहोवा के दास मूसा ने उनका देश रूबेनियों और गादियों और मनश्शे के आधे गोत्रा के लोगों को दे दिया।।

6. Moses the servant of Yahweh, and the sons of Israel, had smitten them, and Moses the servant of Yahweh, had given it, as a possession, unto the Reubenites, and unto the Gadites, and unto the half tribe of Manasseh.

7. और यरदन के पश्चिम की ओर, लबानोन के मैदान में के बालगात से लेकर सेईर की चढ़ाई के हालाक पहाड़ तक के देश के जिन राजाओं को यहोशू और इस्राएलियों ने मारकर उनका देश इस्राएलियों के गोत्रों और कुलों के अनुसार भाग करके दे दिया था वे ये हैं,

7. And, these, are the kings of the land, whom Joshua and the sons of Israel smote over the Jordan, towards the west, from Baal-gad in the valley of the Lebanon, even as far as the Mount Halak that goeth up towards Seir, and Joshua gave it unto the tribes of Israel, as a possession, according to their portions;

16. एक, मक्केदा का राजा; एक, बेतेल का राजा;

16. The king of Makkedah, one, the king of Bethel, one,

17. एक, तप्पूह का राजा; एक, हेपेर का राजा;

17. The king of Tappuah, one, the king of Hepher, one,

18. एक, अपेक का राजा; एक, लश्शारोन का राजा;

18. The king of Aphek, one, the king of Lassharon, one,

19. एक, मदोन का राजा; एक, हासोर का राजा;

19. The king of Madon, one, the king of Hazor, one,

20. एक, शिम्रोन्मरोन का राजा; एक, अक्षाप का राजा;

20. The king of Shimron-meron, one, the king of Achshaph, one,

21. एक, तानाक का राजा; एक, मगिद्दॊ का राजा;

21. The king of Taanach, one, the king of Megiddo, one,

22. एक, केदेश का राजा; एक, कर्मैल में के योकनाम का राजा;

22. The king of Kadesh, one, the king of Jokneam in Carmel, one,

23. एक, दोर नाम ऊंचे देश में के दोर का राजा; एक, गिलगाल में के गोयीम का राजा;

23. The king of Dor, in the height of Dor, one, the king of Goim in Gilgal, one,

24. और एक, तिर्सा का राजा; इस प्रकार सब राजा इकतीस हुए।।
