1. जो आशीर्वाद परमेश्वर के जन मूसा ने अपनी मृत्यु से पहिले इस्राएलियों को दिया वह यह है।।

1. This is the blessyng wherwith Moyses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death, and sayde:

2. उस ने कहा, यहोवा सीनै से आया, और सेईर से उनके लिये उदय हुआ; उस ने पारान पर्वत पर से अपना तेज दिखाया, और लाखों पवित्रों के मध्य में से आया, उसके दहिने हाथ से उनके लिये ज्वालामय विधियां निकलीं।।

2. The Lorde came from Sinai, and rose vp from Seir vnto them, and appeared from mount Pharan, & he came with ten thousande of saintes, and in his ryght hand a lawe of fire for them.

3. वह निश्चय देश देश के लोगों से प्रेम करता है; उसके सब पवित्रा लोग तेरे हाथ में हैं: वे तेरे पांवों के पास बैठे रहते हैं,

3. And he loued the people, all his saintes also are in thy handes: They were smitten to go after thy feete, and to receaue of thy wordes.

5. जब प्रजा के मुख्य मुख्य पुरूष, और इस्राएल के गोत्री एक संग होकर एकत्रित हुए, तब वह यशूरून में राजा ठहरा।।

5. And he was in Israel king, when the heades of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together.

6. रूबेन न मरे, वरन जीवित रहे, तौभी उसके यहां के मनुष्य थोड़े हों।।

6. Let Ruben lyue, and not dye, and be fewe in number.

7. और यहूदा पर यह आशीर्वाद हुआ जो मूसा ने कहा, हे यहोवा तू यहूदा की सुन, और उसे उसके लोगों के पास पहुंचा। वह अपने लिये आप अपने हाथों से लड़ा, और तू ही उसके द्रोहियों के विरूद्ध उसका सहायक हो।।

7. This same also happen to Iuda: And he sayde: Heare Lorde the voyce of Iuda, & bryng him vnto his people: his handes shalbe good enough for hym, yf thou helpe hym agaynst his enemies.

8. फिर लेवी के विषय में उस ने कहा, तेरे तुम्मीम और ऊरीम तेरे भक्त के पास हैं, जिसको तू ने मस्सा में परख लिया, और जिसके साथ मरीबा नाम सोते पर तेरा वादविवाद हुआ;

8. And vnto Leui he sayde: Thumim and Urim shalbe with thee, and with euery one that is godly in thee: Thou dyddest proue hym also in the temptation, & striuedst with hym at the waters of stryfe.

9. उस ने तो अपने माता पिता के विषय में कहा, कि मैं उनको नहीं जानता; और न तो उस ने अपने भाइयों को अपना माना, और न अपने पुत्रों को पहिचाना। क्योंकि उन्हों ने तेरी बातें मानी, और वे तेरी वाचा का पालन करते हैं।।

9. He that hath sayde vnto his father & to his mother (I haue not seene hym) and he that knewe not his brethren, nor knewe his owne children, those are they that haue obserued thy worde, and shall kepe thy couenaunt.

10. वे याकूब को तेरे नियम, और इस्राएल को तेरी व्यवस्था सिखाएंगे; और तेरे आगे धूप और तेरी वेदी पर सर्वांग पशु को होमबलि करेंगे।।

10. They shall teache Iacob thy iudgementes, and Israel thy lawe: They shall put incense before thy nose, and the burnt sacrifice vpon thine aulter.

11. हे यहोवा, उसकी सम्पत्ति पर आशीष दे, और उसके हाथों की सेवा को ग्रहण कर; उसके विरोधियों और बैरियों की कमर पर ऐसा मार, कि वे फिर न उठ सकें।।

11. Blesse Lorde his first fruites, and accept the worke of his handes: smyte the loynes of the that rise agaynst him, and of them that hate hym, that they ryse not agayne.

12. फिर उस ने बिन्यामीन के विषय में कहा, यहोवा का वह प्रिय जन, उसके पास निडर वास करेगा; और वह दिन भर उस पर छाया करेगा, और वह उसके कन्धों के बीच रहा करता है।।

12. And of Beniamin he sayde: The beloued of the Lorde shall dwell in safetie vpon hym, and the Lorde shall couer hym all the day long, and he shall dwell betweene his shoulders.

13. फिर यूसुफ के विषय में उस ने कहा; इसका देश यहोवा से आशीष पाए अर्थात् आकाश के अनमोल पदार्थ और ओस, और वह गहिरा जल जो नीचे है,

13. And of Ioseph he sayde: Blessed of the Lorde is his lande for the fruites of heauen, through the deawe & springes that lye beneath,

14. और सूर्य के पकाए हुए अनमोल फल, और जो अनमोल पदार्थ चंद्रमा के उगाए उगते हैं,

14. And for the sweete fruites of the increase of the sunne, and rype fruites of the moone:

15. और प्राचीन पहाड़ों के उत्तम पदार्थ, और सनातन पहाड़ियों के अनमोल पदार्थ,

15. For the first fruites of the principall mountaynes, and for the fruites that the hylles bryng foorth for euer:

16. और पृथ्वी और जो अनमोल पदार्थ उस में भरे हैं, और जो झाड़ी में रहता था उसकी प्रसन्नता। इन सभों के विषय में यूसुफ के सिर पर, अर्थात् उसी के सिर के चांद पर जो अपने भाइयों से न्यारा हुआ था आशीष ही आशीष फले।।

16. And for the fuites of the earth, and fulnesse therof: and for the good wyll of hym that dwelt in the bushe, shall the blessing come vpon the head of Ioseph, and vpon the toppe of the head of hym that was seperated from among his brethren.

17. वह प्रतापी है, मानो गया का पहिलौठा है, और उसके सींग बनैले बैल के से हैं; उन से वह देश देश के लोगों को, वरन पृथ्वी के छोर तक के सब मनुष्यों को ढकेलेगा; वे एप्रैम के लाखों लाख, और मनश्शे के हजारों हजार हैं।।

17. His first borne oxe hath beautie, and his hornes are as the hornes of an vnicorne, and with them he shall trouble the nations together, euen vnto the endes of the worlde: These are also ten thousandes of Ephraim, and the thousandes of Manasses.

18. फिर जबूलून के विषय में उस ने कहा, हे जबूलून, तू बाहर निकलते समय, और हे इस्साकार, तू अपने डेरों में आनन्द करे।।

18. And vnto Zabulon he sayde: Reioyce Zabulon in thy goyng out, and thou Isachar in thy tentes.

19. वे देश देश के लोगों को पहाड़ पर बुलाएंगे; वे वहां धर्मयज्ञ करेंगे; क्योंकि वे समुद्र का धन, और बालू के छिपे हुए अनमोल पदार्थ से लाभ उठाएंगे।।

19. They shall call the people vnto the hyll, & there they shall offer offeringes of righteousnesse: For they shall sucke of the aboundaunce of the sea, and of treasure hyd in the sande.

20. फिर गाद के विषय में उस ने कहा, धन्य वह है जो गाद को बढ़ाता है! गाद तो सिंहनी के समान रहता है, और बांह को, वरन सिर के चांद तक को फाड़ डालता है।।

20. And vnto Gad he sayde: Blessed be he that inlarged Gad: he dwelleth as a Lion that catcheth for a pray the arme with the head.

21. और उस ने पहिला अंश तो अपने लिये चुन लिया, क्योंकि वहां रईस के योग्य भाग रखा हुआ था; तब उस ने प्रजा के मुख्य मुख्य पुरूषों के संग आकर यहोवा का ठहराया हुआ धर्म, और इस्राएल के साथ होकर उसके नियम का प्रतिपालन किया।।

21. He loked to hym selfe at the beginning, because there was a portion of the lawgeuer hid, & he came with the heades of the people, and executed the ryghteousnesse of the Lorde, and his iudgementes with Israel.

22. फिर दान के विषय में उस ने कहा, दान तो बाशान से कूदनेवाला सिंह का बच्चा है।।

22. And vnto Dan he sayde: Dan is a Lions whelpe, he shal leape fro Basan.

23. फिर नप्ताली के विषय में उस ने कहा, हे नप्ताली, तू जो यहोवा की प्रसन्नता से तृप्त, और उसकी आशीष से भरपूर है, तू पच्छिम और दक्खिन के देश का अधिकारी हो।।

23. And vnto Nephthali he sayde: O Nephthali, satisfied with Gods fauour, and full with the blessing of the Lorde, possesse thou the west and the south.

24. फिर आशेर के विषय में उस ने कहा, आशेर पुत्रों के विषय में आशीष पाए; वह अपने भाइयों में प्रिय रहे, और अपना पांव तेल में डुबोए।।

24. And to Aser he sayde: Aser shalbe blessed with children, he shalbe acceptable vnto his brethren, and shall dyp his foote in oyle.

25. तेरे जूते लोहे और पीतल के होंगे, और जैसे तेरे दिन वैसी ही तेरी शक्ति हो।।

25. Thy shoes shalbe iron and brasse, and thy strength shall continue as long as thou lyuest.

26. हे यशूरून, ईश्वर के तुल्य और कोई नहीं है, वह तेरी सहायता करने को आकाश पर, और अपना प्रताप दिखाता हुआ आकाशमण्डल पर सवार होकर चलता है।।

26. There is none lyke vnto the God of Israel, which though he syt vpon the heauen [as vpon an horse] yet is he thine helper, whose glorie is in the celestiall places.

27. अनादि परमेश्वर तेरा गृहधाम है, और नीचे सनातन भुजाएं हैं। वह शत्रुओं को तेरे साम्हने से निकाल देता, और कहता है, उनको सत्यानाश कर दे।।

27. The eternall God is thy refuge, and vnder the armes of the euerlastyng God shalt thou lyue: He shall cast out the enemie before thee, and say, destroy them.

28. और इस्राएल निडर बसा रहता है, अन्न और नये दाखमधु के देश में याकूब का सोता अकेला ही रहता है; और उसके ऊपर के आकाश से ओस पड़ा करती है।।

28. Israel then shall dwell in safetie and alone, and the fountayne of Iacob shalbe vpon a lande of corne and wine, and his heauens shall drop the deawe.

29. हे इस्राएल, तू क्या ही धन्य है! हे यहोवा से उद्धार पाई हुई प्रजा, तेरे तुल्य कौन है? वह तो तेरी सहायता के लिये ढाल, और तेरे प्रताप के लिये तलवार है; तेरे शत्रु तुझे सराहेंगे, और तू उनके ऊंचे स्थानों को रौंदेगा।।

29. Happy art thou O Israel, who is like vnto thee O people, that art saued in the Lorde which is the shielde of thy helpe and sworde of thy glorie? Thine enemies haue lost their strength to thee warde, and thou shalt treade vpon their hye places.
