1. क्योंकि हम जानते हैं, कि जब हमारा पृथ्वी पर का डेरा सरीखा घर गिराया जाएगा तो हमें परमेश्वर की ओर से स्वर्ग पर एक ऐसा भवन मिलेगा, जो हाथों से बना हुआ घर नहीं परन्तु चिरस्थाई है।
अय्यूब 4:19

1. For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of Elohim, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

2. इस में तो हम कहरते, और बड़ी लालसा रखते हैं; कि अपने स्वर्गीय घर को पहिन लें।

2. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

3. कि इस के पहिनने से हम नंगे न पाए जाएं।

3. If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.

4. और हम इस डेरे में रहते हुए बोझ से दबे कहरते रहते हैं; क्योंकि हम उतारना नहीं, बरन और पहिनना चाहते हैं, ताकि वह जो मरनहार है जीवन में डूब जाए।

4. For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

5. और जिस ने हमें इसी बात के लिये तैयार किया है वह परमेश्वर है, जिस ने हमें बयाने में आत्मा भी दिया है।

5. Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is Elohim, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.

6. सो हम सदा ढाढ़स बान्धे रहते हैं और यह जानते हैं; कि जब तक हम देह में रहते हैं, तब तक प्रभु से अलग हैं।

6. Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from YHWH:

7. क्योंकि हम रूप को देखकर नहीं, पर विश्वास से चलते हैं।

7. (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

8. इसलिये हम ढाढ़स बान्धे रहते हैं, और देह से अलग होकर प्रभु के साथ रहना और भी उत्तम समझते हैं।

8. We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with YHWH.

9. इस कारण हमारे मन की उमंग यह है, कि चाहे साथ रहें, चाहे अलग रहें पर हम उसे भाते रहें।

9. Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

10. क्योंकि अवश्य है, कि हम सब का हाल मसीह के न्याय आसन के साम्हने खुल जाए, कि हर एक व्यक्ति अपने अपने भले बुरे कामों का बदला जो उस ने देह के द्वारा किए हों पाए।।
भजन संहिता 72:2-4, सभोपदेशक 12:14

10. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of the Messiah; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

11. सो प्रभु का भय मानकर हम लोगों को समझाते हैं और परमेश्वर पर हमारा हाल प्रगट है; और मेरी आशा यह है, कि तुम्हारे विवेक पर भी प्रगट हुआ होगा।

11. Knowing therefore the terror of YHWH, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto YHWH; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

12. हम फिर भी अपनी बड़ाई तुम्हारे साम्हने नहीं करते बरन हम अपने विषय में तुम्हें घमण्ड करने का अवसर देते हैं, कि तुम उन्हें उत्तर दे सको, जो मन पर नहीं, बरन दिखवटी बातों पर घमण्ड करते हैं।

12. For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.

13. यदि हम बेसुध हैं, तो परमेश्वर के लिये; और यदि चैतन्य हैं, तो तुम्हारे लिये हैं।

13. For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to Elohim: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.

14. क्योंकि मसीह का प्रेम हमें विवश कर देता है; इसलिये कि हम यह समझते हैं, कि जब एक सब के लिये मरा तो सब मर गए।

14. For the love of the Messiah constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

15. और वह इस निमित्त सब के लिये मरा, कि जो जीवित हैं, वे आगे को अपने लिये न जीएं परन्तु उसके लिये जो उन के लिये मरा और फिर जी उठा।

15. And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

16. सो अब से हम किसी को शरीर के अनुसार न समझेंगे, और यदि हम ने मसीह को भी शरीर के अनुसार जाना था, तौभी अब से उस को ऐसा नहीं जानेंगे।

16. Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known the Messiah after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

17. सो यदि कोई मसीह में है तो वह नई सृष्टि है: पुरानी बातें बीत गई हैं; देखो, वे सब नई हो गईं।
यशायाह 43:18-21

17. Therefore if any man be in the Messiah, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

18. और सब बातें परमेश्वर की ओर से हैं, जिस ने मसीह के द्वारा अपने साथ हमारा मेल मिलाप की सेवा हमें सौंप दी है।

18. And all things are of YHWH, who hath reconciled us to himself by Yahushua the Messiah, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

19. अर्थात् परमेश्वर ने मसीह में होकर अपने साथ संसार का मेल मिलाप कर लिया, और उन के अपराधों का दोष उन पर नहीं लगाया और उस ने मेल मिलाप का वचन हमें सौंप दिया है।।

19. To wit, that YHWH was in the Messiah, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

20. सो हम मसीह के राजदूत हैं; मानो परमेश्वर हमारे द्वारा समझाता है: हम मसीह की ओर से निवेदन करते हैं, कि परमेश्वर के साथ मेल मिलाप कर लो।
यशायाह 52:7

20. Now then we are ambassadors for the Messiah, as though Elohim did beseech you by us: we pray you in the Messiahs stead, be ye reconciled to YHWH.

21. जो पाप से अज्ञात था, उसी को उस ने हमारे लिये पाप ठहराया, कि हम उस में होकर परमेश्वर की धार्मिकता बन जाएं।।

21. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of YHWH in him.
