1. अब उस चन्दे के विषय में जो पवित्रा लोगों के लिये किया जाता है, जैसी आज्ञा मैं ने गलतिया की कलीसियाओं को दी, वैसा ही तुम भी करो।

1. Now, concerning the collection which is for the saints, just as I directed the assemblies of Galatia, so, also do, ye:

2. सप्ताह के पहिले दिन तुम में से हर एक अपनी आमदनी के अनुसार कुछ अपने पास रख छोड़ा करे, कि मेरे आने पर चन्दा न करना पड़े।

2. Upon the first of the week, let, each one of you, put, by itself, in store, as he may be prospering, lest, as soon as I come, then, collections, should be in progress.

3. और जब मैं आऊंगा, तो जिन्हें तुम चाहोगे उन्हें मैं चिटि्ठयां देकर भेज दूंगा, कि तुम्हारा दान यरूशलेम पहुंचा दें।

3. And, as soon as I arrive, whomsoever ye shall approve by letters, these, will I send, to bear away your favour unto Jerusalem:

4. और यदि मेरा भी जाना उचित हुआ, तो वे मेरे साथ जाएंगे।

4. And, if it be meet that, I also, be journeying, with me, shall they journey.

5. और मैं मकिदुनिया होकर तो जाना ही है।

5. Now I will come unto you, as soon as I have passed through Macedonia, for I do pass through Macedonia,

6. परन्तु सम्भव है कि तुम्हारे यहां ही ठहर जाऊं और शरद ऋतु तुम्हारे यंहा काटूं, तब जिस ओर मेरा जाना हो, उस ओर तुम मुझे पहुंचा दो।

6. And, with you, I may perhaps sojourn, or winter, that, ye, may set me forward, whithersoever I may be journeying.

7. क्योंकि मैं अब मार्ग में तुम से भेंट करना नहीं चाहता; परन्तु मुझे आशा है, कि यदि प्रभु चाहे तो कुछ समय तक तुम्हारे साथ रहूंगा।

7. For I do not wish to see you, just now, by the way; for I hope to remain, some time, with you, if, the Lord, permit.

8. परनतु मैं पेन्तिकुस्त तक इफिसुस में रहूंगा।

8. But I remain in Ephesus, until the Pentecost,

9. क्योंकि मेरे लिये एक बड़ा और उपयोगी द्वार खुला है, और विरोधी बहुत से हैं।।

9. For, a door, unto me, hath opened, great and effectual, and, opposers, are many.

10. यदि तीमुथियुस आ जाए, तो देखना, कि वह तुम्हारे यहां निडर रहे; क्योंकि वह मेरी नाई प्रभु का काम करता है।

10. But, if Timothy should come, see that, without fear, he be with you, for, in the work of the Lord, doth he labour, even as, I:

11. इसलिये कोई उसे तुच्छ न जाने, परन्तु उसे कुशल से इस ओर पहुंचा देना, कि मेरे पास आ जाए; क्योंकि मैं उस की बाट जोह रहा हूं, कि वह भाइयों के साथ आए।

11. Let no one then despise him; and set ye him forward in peace, that he may come unto me, for I expect him with the brethren.

12. और भाई अपुल्लोस से मैं ने बहुत बिनती की है कि तुम्हारे पास भाइयों के साथ जाए; परन्तु उस ने उस समय जाने की कुछ भी इच्छा न की, परन्तु जब अवसर पाएगा, तब आ जाएगा।

12. But, concerning Apollos the brother, much, did I beseech him, that he would come unto you, with the brethren, but there was, by no means, any will, that he should come, now; he will come, however, as soon as he hath good opportunity.

13. जागते रहो, विश्वास में स्थिर रहो, पुरूषार्थ करो, बलवन्त होओ।
भजन संहिता 31:24

13. Be on the watch, stand firm in the faith, be men be strong;

14. जो कुछ करते हो प्रेम से करो।।

14. Let, all your affairs, in love, be carried on.

15. हे भाइयो, तुम स्तिफनास के घराने को जानते हो, कि वे अखया के पहिले फल हैं, और पवित्रा लोगों की सेवा के लिये तैयार रहते हैं।

15. Now I beseech you, brethren, ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is a first-fruit of Achaia, and, for the purpose of ministering, they devoted themselves, unto the saints

16. सो मैं तुम से बिनती करता हूं कि ऐसों के आधीन रहो, बरन हर एक के जो इस काम में परिश्रमी और सहकर्मी हैं।

16. That, ye also, be submitting yourselves unto such as these, and unto everyone helping in the work and toiling.

17. और मैं स्तिफनास और फूरतूनातुस और अखइकुस के आने से आनन्दित हूं, क्योंकि उन्हों ने तुम्हारी धटी को पूरी की है।

17. I Rejoice, moreover, in the presence of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus: because, your own shortcoming, these, have filled up:

18. और उन्हों ने मेरी और तुम्हारी आत्मा को चैन दिया है इसलिये ऐसों को मानो।।

18. They have given rest, in fact, unto my spirit, and yours: hold in acknowledgment, therefore, such as these.

19. आसिया की कलीसियाओं की ओर से तुम को नमस्कार; अक्विला और प्रिसका का और उन के घर की कलीसिया को भी तुम को प्रभु में बहुत बहुत नमस्कार।

19. The assemblies of Asia salute you: Aquila and Priscilla, with the assembly meeting at their house, salute you much in the Lord:

20. सब भाइयों का तुम को नमस्कार: पवित्रा चुम्बन से आपस में नमस्कार करो।।

20. All the brethren salute you: Salute ye one another with a holy kiss.

21. मुझ पौलुस का अपने हाथ का लिखा हुआ नमस्कार: यदि कोई प्रभु से प्रेम न रखे तो वह स्त्रापित हो।

21. The salutation of Paul with my own hand.

22. हमारा प्रभु आनेवाला है।

22. If anyone doth not dearly love the Lord, let him be anathema that is, 'accursed' : Maran atha that is, 'The Lord, cometh' .

23. प्रभु यीशु मसीह का अनुग्रह तुम पर होता रहे।

23. The favour of the Lord Jesus, be with you.

24. मेरा प्रेम मसीह यीशु में तुम सब से रहे। आमीन।।

24. My love, be with you all, in Christ Jesus.
