1. फिर यहोवा ने मूसा और हारून से कहा,

1. And Jehovah spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:

2. इस्त्राएली मिलापवाले तम्बू की चारों ओर और उसके साम्हने अपने अपने झण्डे और अपने अपने पितरों के घराने के निशान के समीप अपने डेरे खड़े करें।

2. Everyone of the sons of Israel shall encamp by his own standard, next to the emblems of his father's house; they shall encamp at a distance from the tent of meeting.

3. और जो अपने पूर्व दिशा की ओर जहां सूर्योदय होता है अपने अपने दलों के अनुसार डेरे खड़े किया करें वे ही यहूदा की छावनीवाले झण्उे के लोग होंगे, और उनका प्रधान अम्मीनादाब का पुत्रा नहशोन होगा,

3. On the east side, toward the rising of the sun, those of the standard of the camp of Judah shall encamp according to their hosts; and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be the captain of the sons of Judah:

4. और उनके दल के गिने हुए पुरूष चौहत्तर हजार छ: सौ हैं।

4. and his army was numbered at seventy-four thousand six hundred.

5. उनके समीप जो डेरे खड़े किया करें वे इस्साकार के गोत्रा के हों, और उनका प्रधान सूआर का पुत्रा नतनेल होगा,

5. Those who encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Issachar; and Nethanel the son of Zuar shall be the captain of the sons of Issachar:

6. और उनके दल के गिने हुए पुरूष चौवन हजार चार सौ हैं।

6. and his army was numbered at fifty-four thousand four hundred.

7. इनके पास जबूलून के गोत्रावाले रहेंगे, और उनका प्रधान हेलोन का पुत्रा एलीआब होगा,

7. Then, the tribe of Zebulun; and Eliab the son of Helon shall be the captain of the sons of Zebulun:

8. और उनके दल के गिने हुए पुरूष सत्तावन हजार चार सौ हैं।

8. and his army was numbered at fifty-seven thousand four hundred.

9. इस रीति से यहूदा की छावनी में जितने अपने अपने दलों के अनुसार गिने गए वे सब मिलकर एक लाख छियासी हजार चार सौ हैं। पहिले ये ही कूच किया करें।।

9. All who were numbered according to their hosts with the camp of Judah, one hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred: these shall set out first.

10. दक्खिन अलंग पर रूबेन की छावनी के झण्डे के लोग अपने अपने दलों के अनुसार रहें, और उनका प्रधान शदेऊर का पुत्रा एलीसूर होगा,

10. On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their hosts; and the captain of the sons of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur:

11. और उनके दल के गिने हुए पुरूष साढ़े छियालीस हजार हैं।

11. and his army was numbered at forty-six thousand five hundred.

12. उनके पास जो डेरे खड़े किया करें वे शिमोन के गोत्रा के होंगे, और उनका प्रधान सूरीश ै का पुत्रा शलूमीएल होगा,

12. Those who encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Simeon; and the captain of the sons of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai:

13. और उनके दल के गिने हुए पुरूष उनसठ हजार तीन सौ हैं।

13. and his army was numbered at fifty-nine thousand three hundred.

14. फिर गाद के गोत्रा के रहें, और उनका प्रधान रूएल का पुत्रा एल्यासाप होगा,

14. Then, the tribe of Gad; and the captain of sons of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel:

15. और उनके दल के गिने हुए पुरूष पैंतालीस हजार साढ़े छ: सौ हैं।

15. and his army was numbered at forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty.

16. रूबेन की छावनी में जितने अपने अपने दलों के अनुसार गिने गए वे सब मिलकर डेढ़ लाख एक हजार साढ़े चार सौ हैं। दूसरा कूच इनका हो।

16. All who were numbered according to their hosts of the camp of Reuben, one hundred and fifty-one thousand four hundred and fifty: they shall set out second.

17. उनके पीछे और सब छावनियों के बीचोंबीच लेवियों की छावनी समेत मिलापवाले तम्बू का कूच हुआ करे; जिस क्रम से वे डेरे खड़े करें उसी क्रम से वे अपने अपने स्थान पर अपने अपने झण्डे के पास पास चलें।।

17. And the tent of meeting shall set out with the camp of the Levites in the middle of the camps. As they encamp, so they shall set out, everyone in his place, by their standards.

18. पच्छिम अलंग पर एप्रैम की छावनी के झण्डे के लोग अपने अपने दलों के अनुसार रहें, और उनका प्रधान अम्मीहूद का पुत्रा एलीशामा होगा,

18. On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their hosts; and the captain of the sons of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud:

19. और उनके दल के गिने हुए पुरूष साढ़े चालीस हजार हैं।

19. and his army was numbered at forty thousand five hundred.

20. उनके समीप मनश्शे के गोत्रा के रहें, और उनका प्रधान पदासूर का पुत्रा गम्लीएल होगा,

20. Next to him, the tribe of Manasseh; and the captain of the sons of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur:

21. और उनके दल के गिने हुए पुरूष बत्तीस हजार दो सौ हैं।

21. and his army was numbered at thirty-two thousand two hundred.

22. फिर बिन्यामीन के गोत्रा में रहें, और उनका प्रधान गिदोनी का पुत्रा अबीदान होगा,

22. Then, the tribe of Benjamin; and the captain of the sons of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni:

23. और उनके दल के गिने हुए पुरूष पैंतीस हजार चार सौ हैं।

23. and his army was numbered at thirty-five thousand four hundred.

24. एप्रैम की छावनी में जितने अपने अपने दलों के अनुसार गिने गए वे सब मिलकर एक लाख आठ हजार एक सौ पुरूष हैं। तीसरा कूच इनका हो।

24. All who were numbered according to their hosts of the camp of Ephraim, one hundred and eight thousand one hundred: they shall set out third.

25. उत्तर अलंग पर दान की छावनी के झण्डे के लोग अपने अपने दलों के अनुसार रहें, और उनका प्रधान अम्मीश ै का पुत्रा अहीऐजेर होगा,

25. The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side according to their hosts; and the captain of the sons of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai:

26. और उनके दल के गिने हुए पुरूष बासठ हजार सात सौ हैं।

26. and his army was numbered at sixty-two thousand seven hundred.

27. और उनके पास जो डेरे खड़े करें वे आशेर के गोत्रा के रहें, और उनका प्रधान ओक्रान का पुत्रा पगीएल होगा,

27. Those who encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Asher; and the captain of the sons of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran:

28. और उनके दल के गिने हुए पुरूष साढ़े इकतालीस हजार हैं।

28. and his army was numbered at forty-one thousand five hundred.

29. फिर नप्ताली के गोत्रा के रहें, और उनका प्रधान एनान का पुत्रा अहीरा होगा,

29. Then, the tribe of Naphtali; and the captain of the sons of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan:

30. और उनके दल के गिने हुए पुरूष तिरपन हजार चार सौ हैं।

30. and his army was numbered at fifty-three thousand four hundred.

31. और दान की छावनी में जितने गिने गए वे सब मिलकर डेढ़ लाख सात हजार छ: सौ हैं। ये अपने अपने झण्डे के पास पास होकर सब से पीछे कूच करें।

31. All who were numbered of the camp of Dan, one hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred: they shall set out last, with their standards.

32. इस्त्राएलियों में से जो अपने अपने पितरों के घराने के अनुसार गिने गए वे ये ही हैं; और सब छावनियों के जितने पुरूष अपने अपने दलों के अनुसार गिने गए वे सब मिलकर छ: लाख तीन हजार साढ़े पांच सौ थे।

32. These are the ones who were numbered of the sons of Israel by their fathers' houses. All who were numbered according to their hosts of the camps were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.

33. परन्तु यहोवा ने मूसा को जो आज्ञा दी भी उसके अनुसार लेवीय तो इस्त्राएलियों में गिने नहीं गए।

33. But the Levites were not numbered among the sons of Israel, as Jehovah had commanded Moses.

34. और जो जो आज्ञा यहोवा ने मूसा को दी थी इस्त्राएली उन आज्ञाओं के अनुसार अपने अपने कुल और अपने अपने पितरों के घरानों के अनुसार, अपने अपने झण्डे के पास डेरे खड़े करते और कूच भी करते थे।।

34. And the sons of Israel did according to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses: Thus they encamped by their standards and thus they set out, each one with his family, according to their fathers' houses.
