1. फिर यहोवा ने मूसा और हारून से कहा,

1. And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

2. जब किसी मनुष्य के शरीर के चर्म में सूजन वा पपड़ी वा फूल हो, और इस से उसके चर्म में कोढ़ की व्याधि सा कुछ देख पड़े, तो उसे हारून याजक के पास या उसके पुत्रा जो याजक हैं उन में से किसी के पास ले जाएं।

2. When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, or a scab, or a bright spot, and it become in the skin of his flesh the plague of leprosy, then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:

3. जब याजक उसके चर्म की व्याधि को देखे, और यदि उस व्याधि के स्थान के रोएं उजले हो गए हों और व्याधि चर्म से गहरी देख पड़े, तो वह जान ले कि कोढ़ की व्याधि है; और याजक उस मनुष्य को देखकर उसको अशुद्ध ठहराए।

3. and the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and if the hair in the plague be turned white, and the appearance of the plague be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is the plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.

4. और यदि वह फूल उसके चर्म में उजला तो हो, परन्तु चर्म से गहरा न देख पड़े, और न वहां के रोएं उजले हो गए हों, तो याजक उनको सात दिन तक बन्दकर रखे;

4. And if the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and the appearance thereof be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white, then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days:

5. और सातवें दिन याजक उसको देखे, और यदि वह व्याधि जैसी की तैसी बनी रहे और उसके चर्म में न फैली हो, तो याजक उसको और भी सात दिन तक बन्दकर रखे;

5. and the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if in his eyes the plague be at a stay, and the plague be not spread in the skin, then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:

6. और सातवें दिन याजक उसको फिर देखे, और यदि देख पड़े कि व्याधि की चमक कम है और व्याधि चर्म पर फैली न हो, तो याजक उसको शुद्ध ठहराए; क्योंकि उसके तो चर्म में पपड़ी है; और वह अपने वस्त्रा धोकर शुद्ध हो जाए।

6. and the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague be dim, and the plague be not spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

7. और यदि याजक की उस जांच के पश्चात् जिस में वह शुद्ध ठहराया गया था, वह पपड़ी उसके चर्म पर बहुत फैल जाए, तो वह फिर याजक को दिखाया जाए;

7. But if the scab spread abroad in the skin, after that he hath shewn himself to the priest for his cleansing, he shall shew himself to the priest again:

8. और यदि याजक को देख पड़े कि पपड़ी चर्म में फैल गई है, तो वह उसको अशुद्ध ठहराए; क्योंकि वह कोढ़ ही है।।

8. and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the scab be spread in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is leprosy.

9. यदि कोढ़ की सी व्याधि किसी मनुष्य के हो, तो वह याजक के पास पहुचाया जाए;

9. When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest;

10. और याजक उसको देखे, और यदि वह सूजन उसके चर्म में उजली हो, और उसके कारण रोएं भी उजले हो गए हों, और उस सूजन में बिना चर्म का मांस हो,

10. and the priest shall look, and, behold, if there be a white rising in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be quick raw flesh in the rising,

11. तो याजक जाने कि उसके चर्म में पुराना कोढ़ है, इसलिये वह उसको अशुद्ध ठहराए; और बन्द न रखे, क्योंकि वह तो अशुद्ध है।

11. it is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean: he shall not shut him up; for he is unclean.

12. और यदि कोढ़ किसी के चर्म में फूटकर यहां तक फैल जाए, कि जहां कहीं याजक देखें व्याधित के सिर से पैर के तलवे तक कोढ़ ने सारे चर्म को छा लिया हो,

12. And if the leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his feet, as far as appeareth to the priest;

13. जो याजक ध्यान से देखे, और यदि कोढ़ ने उसके सारे शरीर को छा लिया हो, तो वह उस व्याधित को शुद्ध ठहराए; और उसका शरीर जो बिलकुल उजला हो गया है वह शुद्ध ही ठहरे।

13. then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.

14. पर जब उस में चर्महीन मांस देख पड़े, तब तो वह अशुद्ध ठहरे।

14. But whensoever raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be unclean.

15. और याजक चर्महीन मांस को देखकर उसको अशुद्ध ठहराए; कयोंकि वैसा चर्महीन मांस अशुद्ध ही होता है; वह कोढ़ है।

15. And the priest shall look on the raw flesh, and pronounce him unclean: the raw flesh is unclean: it is leprosy.

16. पर यदि वह चर्महीन मांस फिर उजला हो जाए, तो वह मनुष्य याजक के पास जाए,

16. Or if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed unto white, then he shall come unto the priest,

17. और याजक उसको देखे, और यदि वह व्याधि फिर से उजली हो गई हो, तो याजक व्याधित को शुद्ध जाने; वह शुद्ध है।।

17. and the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if the plague be turned into white, then the priest shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: he is clean.

18. फिर यदि किसी के चर्म में फोड़ा होकर चंगा हो गया हो,

18. And when the flesh hath in the skin thereof a boil, and it is healed,

19. और फोड़े के स्थान में उजली सी सूजन वा लाली लिये हुए उजला फूल हो, तो वह याजक को दिखाया जाए।

19. and in the place of the boil there is a white rising, or a bright spot, reddish�white, then it shall be shewed to the priest;

20. और याजक उस सूजन को देखे, और यदि वह चर्म से गहिरा देख पड़े, और उसके रोएं भी उजले हो गए हों, तो याजक यह जानकर उस मनुष्य को अशुद्ध ठहराए; क्योंकि वह कोढ़ की व्याधि है जो फोड़े में से फूटकर निकली है।

20. and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the appearance thereof be lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy, it hath broken out in the boil.

21. और यदि याजक देखे कि उस में उजले रोएं नहीं हैं, और वह चर्म से गहिरी नहीं, और उसकी चमक कम हुई है, तो याजक उस मनुष्य को सात दिन तक बन्द कर रखे।

21. But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hairs therein, and it be not lower than the skin, but be dim, then the priest shall shut him up seven days:

22. और यदि वह व्याधि उस समय तक चर्म में सचमुच फैल जाए, तो याजक उस मनुष्य को अशुद्ध ठहराए; क्योंकि वह कोढ़ की व्याधि है।

22. And if it spread abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague.

23. परन्तु यदि वह फूल न फैले और अपने स्थान ही पर बना रहे, तो वह फोड़े को दाग है; याजक उस मनुष्य को शुद्ध ठहराए।।

23. But if the bright spot stay in its place, and be not spread, it is the scar of the boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

24. फिर यदि किसी के चर्म में जलने का घाव हो, और उस जलने के घाव में चर्महीन फूल लाली लिये हुए उजला वा उजला ही हो जाए,

24. Or when the flesh hath in the skin thereof a burning by fire, and the quick flesh of the burning become a bright spot, reddish�white, or white;

25. तो याजक उसको देखे, और यदि उस फूल में के रोएं उजले हो गए हों और वह चर्म से गहिरा देख पड़े, तो वह कोढ़ है; जो उस जलने के दाग में से फूट निकला है; याजक उस मनुष्य को अशुद्ध ठहराए; क्योंकि उस में कोढ़ की व्याधि है।

25. then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and the appearance thereof be deeper than the skin; it is leprosy, it hath broken out in the burning: and the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.

26. और यदि याजक देखे, कि फूल में उजले रोएं नहीं और न वह चर्म से कुछ गहिरा है, और उसकी चमक कम हुई है, तो वह उसको सात दिन तक बन्द कर रखे,

26. But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the skin, but be dim; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:

27. और सातवें दिन याजक उसको देखे, और यदि वह चर्म में फैल गई हो, तो वह उस मनुष्य को अशुद्ध ठहराए; क्योंकि उसको कोढ़ की व्याधि है।

27. and the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: if it spread abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.

28. परन्तु यदि वह फूल चर्म में नहीं फैला और अपने स्थान ही पर जहां का तहां ही बना हो, और उसकी चमक कम हुई हो, तो वह जल जाने के कारण सूजा हुआ है, याजक उस मनुष्य को शुद्ध ठहराए; क्योंकि वह दाग जल जाने के कारण से है।।

28. And if the bright spot stay in its place, and be not spread in the skin, but be dim; it is the rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is the scar of the burning.

29. फिर यदि किसी पुरूष वा स्त्री के सिर पर, वा पुरूष की डाढ़ी में व्याधि हो,

29. And when a man or woman hath a plague upon the head or upon the beard,

30. तो याजक व्याधि को देखे, और यदि वह चर्म से गहिरी देख पड़े, और उस में भूरे भूरे पतले बाल हों, तो याजक उस मनुष्य को अशुद्ध ठहराए; वह व्याधि सेंहुआं, अर्थात् सिर वा डाढ़ी का कोढ़ है।

30. then the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the appearance thereof be deeper than the skin, and there be in it yellow thin hair, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a scall, it is leprosy of the head or of the beard.

31. और यदि याजक सेंहुएं की व्याधि को देखे, कि वह चर्म से गहिरी नहीं है और उस में काले काले बाल नहीं हैं, तो वह सेंहुएं के व्याधित को सात दिन तक बन्द कर रखे,

31. And if the priest look on the plague of the scall, and, behold, the appearance thereof be not deeper than the skin, and there be no black hair in it, then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the scall seven days:

32. और सातवें दिन याजक व्याधि को देखे, तब यदि वह सेंहुआं फैला न हो, और उस में भूरे भूरे बाल न हों, और सेंहुआं चर्म से गहिरा न देख पड़े,

32. And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the scall be not spread, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the appearance of the scall be not deeper than the skin,

33. तो यह मनुष्य मूंड़ा जाए, परन्तु जहां सेंहुआं हो वहां न मूंड़ा जाए; और याजक उस सेंहुएंवाले को और भी सात दिन तक बन्द करे;

33. then he shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days more:

34. और सातवें दिन याजक सेहुएं को देखे, और यदि वह सेंहुआं चर्म में फैला न हो और चर्म से गहिरा न देख पड़े, तो याजक उस मनुष्य को शुद्ध ठहराए; और वह अपने वस्त्रा धोके शुद्ध ठहरे।

34. and in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall: and, behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin, and the appearance thereof be not deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

35. और यदि उसके शुद्ध ठहरने के पश्चात् सेंहुआं चर्म में कुछ भी फैले,

35. But if the scall spread abroad in the skin after his cleansing;

36. तो याजक उसको देखे, और यदि वह चर्म में फैला हो, तो याजक यह भूरे बाल न ढूंढ़े, क्योंकि मनुष्य अशुद्ध है।

36. then the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if the scall be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for the yellow hair; he is unclean.

37. परन्तु यदि उसकी दृष्टि में वह सेंहुआं जैसे का तैसा बना हो, और उस में काले काले बाल जमे हों, तो वह जाने की सेंहुआं चंगा हो गया है, और वह मनुष्य शुद्ध है; याजक उसको शुद्ध ही ठहराए।।

37. But if in his eyes the scall be at a stay, and black hair be grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

38. फिर यदि किसी पुरूष वा स्त्री के चर्म में उजले फूल हों,

38. And when a man or a woman hath in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;

39. तो याजक देखे, और यदि उसके चर्म में वे फूल कम उजले हों, तो वह जाने कि उसको चर्म में निकली हुई चाईं ही है; वह मनुष्य शुद्ध ठहरे।।

39. then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be of a dull white; it is a tetter, it hath broken out in the skin; he is clean.

40. फिर जिसके सिर के बाल झड़ गए हों, तो जानना कि वह चन्दुला तो है परन्तु शुद्ध है।

40. And if a man's hair be fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.

41. और जिसके सिर के आगे के बाल झड़ गए हों, तो वह माथे का चन्दुला तो है परन्तु शुद्ध है।

41. And if his hair be fallen off from the front part of his head, he is forehead bald; yet is he clean.

42. परन्तु यदि चन्दुले सिर पर वा चन्दुले माथे पर लाली लिये हुए उजली व्याधि हो, तो जानना कि वह उसके चन्दुले सिर पर वा चन्दुले माथे पर निकला हुआ कोढ़ है।

42. But if there be in the bald head, or the bald forehead, a reddish�white plague; it is leprosy breaking out in his bald head, or his bald forehead.

43. इसलिये याजक उसको देखे, और यदि व्याधि की सूजन उसके चन्दुले सिर वा चन्दुले माथे पर ऐसी लाली लिये हुए उजली हो जैसा चर्म के कोढ़ में होता है,

43. Then the priest shall look upon him: and, behold, if the rising of the plague be reddish�white in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the appearance of leprosy in the skin of the flesh;

44. तो वह मनुष्य कोढ़ी है और अशुद्ध है; और याजक उसको अवश्य अशुद्ध ठहराए; क्योंकि वह व्याधि उसके सिर पर है।।

44. he is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall surely pronounce him unclean; his plague is in his head.

45. और जिस में वह व्याधि हो उस कोढ़ी के वस्त्रा फटे और सिर के बाल बिखरे रहें, और वह अपने ऊपरवाले होंठ को ढांपे हुए अशुद्ध, अशुद्ध पुकारा करे।

45. And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and the hair of his head shall go loose, and he shall cover his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.

46. जितने दिन तक वह व्याधि उस में रहे उतने दिन तक वह तो अशुद्ध रहेगा; और वह अशुद्ध ठहरा रहे; इसलिये वह अकेला रहा करे, उसका निवास स्थान छावनी के बाहर हो।।
लूका 17:12

46. All the days wherein the plague is in him he shall be unclean; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his dwelling be.

47. फिर जिस वस्त्रा में कोढ़ की व्याधि हो, चाहे वह वस्त्रा ऊन का हो चाहे सनी का,

47. The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woollen garment, or a linen garment;

48. वह व्याधि चाहे उस सनी वा ऊन के वस्त्रा के ताने में हो चाहे बाने में, वा वह व्याधि चमड़े में वा चमड़े की किसी वस्तु में हो,

48. whether it be in warp, or woof; of linen, or of woollen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made of skin;

49. यदि वह व्याधि किसी वस्त्रा के चाहे ताने में चाहे बाने में, वा चमड़े में वा चमड़े की किसी वस्तु में हरी हो वा लाल सी हो, तो जानना कि वह कोढ़ की व्याधि है और वह याजक को दिखाई जाए।

49. if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, or in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is the plague of leprosy, and shall be shewed unto the priest:

50. और याजक व्याधि को देखे, और व्याधिवाली वस्तु को सात दिन के लिये बन्द करे;

50. and the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up that which hath the plague seven days:

51. और सातवें दिन वह उस व्याधि को देखे, और यदि वह वस्त्रा के चाहे ताने में चाहे बाने में, वा चमड़े में वा चमड़े की बनी हुई किसी वस्तु में फैल गई हो, तो जानना कि व्याधि गलित कोढ़ है, इसलिये वह वस्तु, चाहे कैसे ही काम में क्यों न आती हो, तौभी अशुद्ध ठहरेगी।

51. and he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in the skin, whatever service skin is used for; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.

52. वह उस वस्त्रा को जिसके ताने वा बाने में वह व्याधि हो, चाहे वह ऊन का हो चाहे सनी का, वा चमड़े की वस्तु हो, उसको जला दे, वह व्याधि गलित कोढ़ की है; वह वस्तु आग में जलाई जाए।

52. And he shall burn the garment, whether the warp or the woof, in woollen or in linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.

53. और यदि याजक देखे कि वह व्याधि उस वस्त्रा के ताने वा बाने में, वा चमड़े की उस वस्तु में नहीं फैली,

53. And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin;

54. तो जिस वस्तु में व्याधि हो उसके धोने की आज्ञा दे, तक उसे और भी सात दिन तक बन्द कर रखे;

54. then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:

55. और उसके धोने के बाद याजक उसको देखे, और यदि व्याधि का न तो रंग बदला हो, और न व्याधि फैली हो, तो जानना कि वह अशुद्ध है; उसे आग में जलाना, क्योंकि चाहे वह व्याधि भीतर चाहे ऊपरी हो तौभी वह खा जाने वाली व्याधि है।

55. and the priest shall look, after that the plague is washed: and, behold, if the plague have not changed its colour, and the plague be not spread, it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire: it is a fret, whether the bareness be within or without.

56. और यदि याजक देखे, कि उसके धोने के पश्चात् व्याधि की चमक कम हो गई, तो वह उसको वस्त्रा के चाहे ताने चाहे बाने में से, वा चमड़े में से फाड़के निकाले;

56. And if the priest look, and, behold, the plague be dim after the washing thereof, then he shall rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:

57. और यदि वह व्याधि तब भी उस वस्त्रा के ताने वा बाने में, वा चमड़े की उस वस्तु में देख पड़े, तो जानना कि वह फूट के निकली हुई व्याधि है; और जिस में वह व्याधि हो उसे आग में जलाना।

57. and if it appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin, it is breaking out: thou shalt burn that wherein the plague is with fire.

58. और यदि उस वस्त्रा से जिसके ताने वा बाने में व्याधि हो, वा चमड़े की जो वस्तु हो उस से जब धोई जाए और व्याधि जाती रही, तो वह दूसरी बार धुल कर शुद्ध ठहरे।

58. And the garment, either the warp, or the woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.

59. ऊन वा सनी के वस्त्रा में के ताने वा बाने में, वा चमड़े की किसी वस्तु में जो कोढ़ की व्याधि हो उसके शुद्ध और अशुद्ध ठहराने की यही व्यवस्था है।।

59. This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woollen or linen, either in the warp, or the woof, or any thing of skin, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
