1. यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुंचा,

1. A message came to me from the Lord. He said,

2. हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, दो स्त्रियां थी, जो एक ही मा की बेटी थी,

2. 'Son of man, once there were two women. They had the same mother.

3. वे अपने बचपन ही में वेश्या का काम मिस्र में करने लगी; उनकी छातियां कुंवारपन में पहिले वहीं मींजी गई और उनका मरदन भी हुआ।

3. They became prostitutes in Egypt. They have been unfaithful to me since they were young. In that land they allowed their breasts to be touched. They permitted their virgin breasts to be kissed.

4. उन लड़कियों में से बड़ी का नाम ओहोला और उसकी बहिन का नाम ओहोलीबा था। वे मेरी हो गई, और उनके पुत्रा पुत्रियां उत्पन्न हुई। उनके नामों में से ओहोला तो शोमरोन, और ओहेलीबा यरूशलेम है।

4. 'The older sister was named Oholah. The younger one was Oholibah. They belonged to me. Sons and daughters were born to them. Oholah stands for Samaria. And Oholibah stands for Jerusalem.

5. ओहोला जब मेरी थी, तब ही व्यभिचारिणी होकर अपने मित्रों पर मोहित होने लगी जो उसके पड़ोसी अश्शूरी थे।

5. 'Oholah was unfaithful to me even while she still belonged to me. She longed for her Assyrian lovers.

6. वे तो सब के सब नीले वस्त्रा पहिननेवाले मनभावने जवान, अधिपति और प्रधान थे, और घोड़ों पर सवार थे।

6. They included soldiers who wore blue uniforms. They also included governors and commanders. All of them were young and handsome. They rode horses.

7. सो उस ने उन्हीं के साथ व्यभिचार किया जो सब के सब सव त्तम अश्शूरी थे; और जिस किसी पर वह मोहित हुई, उसी की मूरतों से वह अशुद्ध हुई।

7. She gave herself as a prostitute to all of Assyria's finest warriors. She polluted herself with the statues of the gods of everyone she longed for.

8. जो व्यभिचार उस ने मिस्र में सीखा था, उसको भी उस ने न छोड़ा; क्योंकि बचपन में मनुष्यों ने उसके साथ कुकर्म किया, और उसकी छातियां मींजी, और तन- मन से उसके साथ व्यभिचार किया गया था।

8. She started being a prostitute in Egypt. And she never stopped. When she was young, men had sex with her. They kissed her virgin breasts. They used up all of their sinful longings on her.

9. इस कारण मैं ने उसको उन्हीं अश्शूरी मित्रों के हाथ कर दिया जिन पर वह मोहित हुई थी।

9. 'So I handed her over to her Assyrian lovers. She longed for them.

10. उन्हों ने उसको नंगी किया; उसके पुत्रा- मुत्रियां छीनकर उसको तलवार से घात किया; इस प्रकार उनके हाथ से दण्ड पाकर वह स्त्रियों में प्रसिद्ध हो गई।

10. They stripped her naked. They took her sons and daughters away. And they killed her with their swords. Other women laughed when that happened. I was the one who had punished her.

11. उसकी बहिन ओहोलीबा ने यह देखा, तौभी वह मोहित होकर व्यभिचार करने में अपनी बहिन से भी अधिक बढ़ गई।

11. 'Her sister Oholibah saw it. But her evil longing for sexual sin was worse than her sister's.

12. वह अपने अश्शूरी पड़ोसियों पर मोहित होती थी, जो सब के सब अति सुन्दर वस्त्रा पहिननेवाले और घोड़ों के सवार मनभावने, जवानन अधिपति और और प्रकार के प्रधान थे।

12. She too longed for the men of Assyria. They included governors and commanders. They included soldiers who wore uniforms. They also included men who rode horses. All of them were young and handsome.

13. तब मैं ने देखा कि वह भी अशुद्ध हो गई; उन दोनों बहिनों की एक ही चाल थी।

13. I saw that she too polluted herself. So both sisters did the same evil things.

14. परन्तु ओहोलीबा अधिक व्यभिचार करती गई; सो जब उस ने भीत पर सेंदूर से खींचे हुए ऐसे कसदी पुरूषें के चित्रा देखेे,

14. 'But Oholibah went even further with her sexual sins. She saw pictures of men drawn on a wall. They were figures of Babylonians drawn in red.

15. जो कटि में फेंटे बान्धे हुए, सिर में छोर लटकती हुई रंगीली पगड़ियां पहिने हुए, और सब के सब अपनी कसदी जन्मभूमि अर्थात् बाबुल के लोगों की रीति पर प्रधानों का रूप धरे हुए थे,

15. They had belts around their waists. They wore flowing turbans on their heads. All of them looked like Babylonian chariot officers. They were from the land of the Chaldeans.

16. तब उनको देखते ही वह उन पर मोहित हुई और उनके पास कसदियों के देश में दूत भेजे।

16. 'As soon as she saw the pictures, she longed for the men. So she sent messengers to them in Babylonia.

17. सो बाबुली लोग उसके पास पलंग पर आए, और उसके साथ व्यभिचार करके उसे अशुद्ध किया; और जब वह उन से अशुद्ध हो गई, तब उसका मन उन से फिर गया।

17. Then the Babylonians came to her. They went to bed with her. They made love to her. They polluted her when they had sex with her. After they did it, she became sick of them. So she turned away from them.

18. तौभी जब वह तन उधड़ती और व्यभिचार करती गई, तब मेरा मन जैसे उसकी बहिन से फिर गया था, वैसे ही उस से भी फिर गया।

18. 'She acted like a prostitute who had no shame at all. She openly showed her naked body. I became sick of what she was doing. So I turned away from her. I had also turned away from her sister.

19. इस पर भी वह मिस्र देश के अपने बचपन के दिन स्मरण करके जब वह वेश्या का काम करती थी, और अधिक व्यभिचार करती गई;

19. 'But Oholibah offered her body to her lovers again and again. She remembered the days when she was a young prostitute in Egypt.

20. और ऐसे मिस्रों पर मोहित हुई, जिनका मांस गदहों का सा, और वीर्य घोड़ों का सा था।

20. There she had longed for her lovers. Their private parts seemed as big as those of donkeys. And their flow of semen appeared to be as much as that of horses.

21. तू इस प्रकार से अपने बचपन के उस समय के महापाप का स्मरण कराती है जब मिस्री लोग तेरी छातियां मींजते थे।

21. So you wanted to return to the days when you were young. You longed for the time when you first became impure in Egypt. That was when you allowed your breasts to be kissed. And you permitted your young breasts to be touched.'

22. इस कारण हे ओहोलीबा, परमेश्वर यहोवा तुझ से यों कहता है, देख, मैं तेरे मिस्रों को उभारकर जिन से तेरा मन फिर गया चारों ओर से तेरे विरूद्ध ले आऊंगा।

22. So the Lord and King says, 'Oholibah, I will stir up your lovers against you. You became sick of them. You turned away from them. But I will bring them against you from every side.

23. अर्थात् बाबुलियों और सब कसदियों को, और पकोद, शो और कोआ के लोगों को; और उनके साथ सब अश्शूरियों को लाऊंगा जो सब के सब घोड़ों के सवार मनभावने जवान अधिपति, और कई प्रकार के प्रतिनिधि, प्रधान और नामी पुरूष हैं।

23. They include the Babylonians and all of the Chaldeans. They include the men from Pekod, Shoa and Koa. They also include all of the Assyrians. They are young and handsome. Some of them are governors and commanders. Others are chariot officers. Still others are very high officials. All of them ride horses.

24. वे लोग हथियार, रथ, छकड़े और देश देश के लोगों का दल लिए हुए तुझ पर चढ़ाई करेंगे; और ढाल और फरी और टोप धारण किए हुए तेरे विरूद्ध चारों ओर पांति बान्धेंगे; और मैं उन्हीं के हाथ न्याय का काम सौंपूंगा, और वे अपने अपने नियम के अनुसार तेरा न्याय करेंगे।

24. 'So a huge army will come against you with weapons, chariots and wagons. They will take up positions against you on every side. They will carry large and small shields. They will wear helmets. I will turn you over to them to be punished. They will punish you in their own way.

25. और मैं तुझ पर जलूंगा, जिस से वे जलजलाहट के साथ तुझ से बर्ताव करेंगे। वे तेरी नाक और कान काट लेंगे, और तेरा जो भी बचा रहेगा वह तलवार से मारा जाएगा। वे तेरे पुत्रा- पुत्रियों को छीन ले जाएंगे, और तेरा जो भी बचा रहेगा, वह आग से भस्म हो जाएगा।

25. 'I will pour out my jealous anger on you. And the army's anger will burn against you. They will cut off your noses and ears. Some of you who are left will be killed with swords. They will take your sons and daughters away. Others of you who are left will be burned up.

26. वे तेरे वस्त्रा भी उतारकर तेरे सुन्दर- सुन्दर गहने छीन ले जाएंगे।

26. The army will also strip your clothes off. They will take your fine jewelry away from you.

27. इस रीति से मैं तेरा महापाप और जो वेश्या का काम तू ने मिस्र देश में सीखा था, उसे भी तुझ से छुड़ाऊंगा, यहां तक कि तू फिर अपनी आंख उनकी ओर न लगाएगी और न मिस्र देश को फिर स्मरण करेगी।

27. You became an impure prostitute in Egypt. But I will put a stop to all of that. You will no longer want to do any of it. You will not remember Egypt anymore.'

28. क्योंकि प्रभु यहोवा तुझ से यों कहता है, देख, मैं तुझे उनके हाथ सौंपूंगा जिन से तू वैर रखती है और जिन से तेरा मन फिर गया है;

28. The Lord and King says, 'I am about to hand you over to people you hate. You became sick of them. You turned away from them.

29. और वे तुझ से वैर के साथ बर्ताव करेंगे, और तेरी सारी कमाई को उठा लेंगे, और तुझे नंगा करके छोड़ देंगे, और तेरे तन के उघाड़े जाने से तेरा व्यभिचार और महापाप प्रगट हो जाएगा।

29. They will punish you because they hate you so much. They will take everything you have worked for away from you. They will leave you naked and bare. Then everyone will see that you are a prostitute who has no shame at all. You were impure. You offered your body to your lovers again and again.

30. ये काम तुझ से इस कारण किए जाएंगे क्योंकि तू अन्यजातियों के पीछे व्यभिचारिणी की नाई हो गई, और उनकी मूरतें पूजकर अशुद्ध हो गई है।

30. 'That is why you will be punished. You longed for lovers in other nations. You polluted yourself by worshiping their gods.

31. तू अपनी बहिन की लीक पर चली है; इस कारण मैं तेरे हाथ में उसका सा कटोरा दूंगा।

31. You did the same things your sister Oholah did. So I will put her cup in your hand. It is filled with the wine of my anger.'

32. प्रभु यहोवा यों कहता है, अपनी बहिन के कटोरे से तुझे पीना पड़ेगा जीे गहिरा और चौड़ा है; तू हंसी और ठट्ठों में उड़ाई जाएगी, क्योंकि उस कटोरे में बहुत कुछ समाता है।

32. The Lord and King says to Oholibah, 'You will drink from your sister's cup. It is large and deep. It is filled with the wine of my anger. So others will laugh at you. They will make fun of you.

33. तू मतवालेपन और दु:ख से छक जाएगी। तू अपनी बहिन शोमरोन के कटोरे को, अर्थात् विस्मय और उजाड़ को पीकर छक जाएगी।

33. You will become drunk and sad. The cup of my anger will completely destroy you. It is the same cup your sister Samaria drank from.

34. उस में से तू गार गारकर पीएगी, और उसके ठिकरों को भी चबाएगी और अपनी छातियां घायल करेगी; क्योंकि मैं ही ने ऐसा कहा है, प्रभु यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

34. You will drink from it until it is empty. Then you will throw it down and break it in pieces. And you will claw at your breasts. I have spoken,' announces the Lord and King.

35. तू ने जो मुझे भुला दिया है और अपना मुंह मुझ से फेर लिया है, इसलिये तू आप ही अपने महापाप और व्यभिचार का भार उठा, परमेश्वर यहोवा का यही वचन है।

35. So the Lord and King says, 'You have forgotten me. You have pushed me behind your back. You have been impure. You have acted like a prostitute. So I will punish you.'

36. यहोवा ने मुझ से कहा, हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, क्या तू ओहोला और ओहोलीबा का न्याय करेगा? तो फिर उनके घिनौने काम उन्हें जता दे।

36. The Lord said to me, 'Son of man, are you going to judge Oholah and Oholibah? Then tell them they have done many evil things. I hate those things.

37. क्योंकि उन्हों ने व्यभिचार किया है, और उनके हाथों में खून लगा है; उन्हों ने अपनी मूरतों के साथ व्यभिचार किया, और अपने लड़केबाले जो मुझ से उत्पन्न हुए थे, उन मूरतों के आगे भस्म होने के लिये चढ़ाए हैं।

37. They have committed adultery. Their hands are covered with the blood of the people they have murdered. They have worshiped other gods. They have not been faithful to me. They have even sacrificed their children as food to other gods. Those children belonged to me.

38. फिर उन्हों ने मुझ से ऐसा बर्ताव भी किया कि उसी के साथ मेरे पवित्रास्थान को भी अशुद्ध किया और मेरे विश्रामदिनों को अपवित्रा किया है।

38. Here are some other things the sisters have done to me. They have polluted my temple. They have misused my Sabbath days.

39. वे अपने लड़केबाले अपनी मूरतों के साम्हने बलि चढ़ाकर उसी दिन मेरा पवित्रास्थान अपवित्रा करने को उस में घुसी। देख, उन्हों ने इस भांति का काम मेरे भवन के भीतर किया हे।

39. They have sacrificed their children to their gods. On that same day they entered my temple and polluted it. That is what they have done in my house.

40. और उन्हों ने दूर से पुरूषों को बुलवा भेजा, और वे चले भी आए। उनके लिये तू नहा धो, आंखों में अंजन लगा, गहने पहिनकर;

40. 'They even sent messengers to bring men from far away. When the men arrived, Oholibah took a bath. She put makeup on her eyes. She put her jewelry on.

41. सुन्दर पलंग पर बैठी रही; और तेरे साम्हने एक मेज़ बिछी हुई थी, जिस पर तू ने मेरा धूप और मेरा तेल रखा था।

41. She sat down on a beautiful couch. A table was in front of it. There she put the incense and olive oil that belonged to me.

42. तब उसके साथ निश्चिन्त लोगों की भीड़ का कोलाहल सुन पड़ा, और उन साधारण लोगों के पास जंगल से बुलाए हुए पियक्कड़ लोग भी थे; उन्हों ने उन दोनों बहिनों के हाथों में चूडियां पहिनाई, और उनके सिरों पर शोभायमान मुकुट रखे।

42. 'The noise of a carefree crowd was all around her. Sabeans were brought from the desert. Other men were brought along with them. They put bracelets on the arms of the two sisters. They put beautiful crowns on their heads.

43. तब जो क्यभिचार करते करते बुढ़िया हो गई थी, उसके विषय में बोल उठा, अब तो वे उसी के साथ व्यभिचार करेंगे।

43. Then I spoke about Oholibah. She was worn out by adultery. I said, 'Let them use her as a prostitute. After all, that is what she is.'

44. क्योंकि वे उसके पास ऐसे गए जैसे लोग वेश्या के पास जाते हैं। वैसे ही वे ओहोला और ओहोलीबा नाम महापापिनी स्त्रियों के पास गए।

44. So they had sex with her. In fact, they had sex with both of those impure women, Oholah and Oholibah. It was just like having sex with prostitutes.

45. सो धम लोग व्यभिचारिणियों और हत्यारों के योग्य उसका न्याय करें; क्योंकि वे व्यभिचारिणीयों और हत्यारों के योग्य उसका न्याय करें; क्योंकि वे व्यभिचारिणी है, और उनके हाथों में खून लगा है।

45. 'But men who are right with God will sentence the sisters to be punished. They will be punished in the same way as women who commit adultery and murder. After all, they have committed adultery. And their hands are covered with the blood of the people they have murdered.'

46. इस कारण परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, मैं एक भीड़ से उन पर चढ़ाई कराकर उन्हें ऐसा करूंगा कि वे मारी मारी फिरेंगी और लटी जाएंगी।

46. The Lord and King says, 'Bring an angry crowd against the sisters. Hand them over to those who will terrify them and steal everything they have.

47. और उस भीड़ के लोग उनको पत्त्रवाह करके उन्हें अपनी तलवारों से काट डालेंगे, तब वे उनके पुत्रा- पुत्रियों को घात करके उनके घर भी आग लगाकर फूंक देंगे।

47. The crowd will kill them by throwing stones at them. They will cut them down with their swords. They will kill their sons and daughters. And they will burn their houses down.

48. इस प्रकार मैं महापाप को देश में से दूर करूंगा, और सब स्त्रियां शिक्षा माकर तुम्हारा सा महापाप करने से बची रहेगी।

48. 'So I will put an end to impurity in the land. Then all of its women will be warned. They will not want to be like the sisters.

49. तुम्हारा महापाप तुम्हारे ही सिर पड़ेगा; और तुम निश्चय अपनी मूरतों को पूजा के पापों का भार उठाओगे; और तब तुम जान लोगे कि मैं परमेश्वर यहोवा हूं।

49. Those sisters will be punished because of the impure things they have done. They will be judged because they have worshiped other gods. Then they will know that I am the Lord and King.'
