1. यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुंचा,

1. The word of the LORD came again to me, saying,

2. हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, दो स्त्रियां थी, जो एक ही मा की बेटी थी,

2. Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:

3. वे अपने बचपन ही में वेश्या का काम मिस्र में करने लगी; उनकी छातियां कुंवारपन में पहिले वहीं मींजी गई और उनका मरदन भी हुआ।

3. And they committed lewd deeds in Egypt; they committed lewd deeds in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they were first corrupted.

4. उन लड़कियों में से बड़ी का नाम ओहोला और उसकी बहिन का नाम ओहोलीबा था। वे मेरी हो गई, और उनके पुत्रा पुत्रियां उत्पन्न हुई। उनके नामों में से ओहोला तो शोमरोन, और ओहेलीबा यरूशलेम है।

4. And the names of them {were} Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bore sons and daughters. Thus {were} their names; Samaria {is} Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.

5. ओहोला जब मेरी थी, तब ही व्यभिचारिणी होकर अपने मित्रों पर मोहित होने लगी जो उसके पड़ोसी अश्शूरी थे।

5. And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians {her} neighbors.

6. वे तो सब के सब नीले वस्त्रा पहिननेवाले मनभावने जवान, अधिपति और प्रधान थे, और घोड़ों पर सवार थे।

6. {Who were} clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.

7. सो उस ने उन्हीं के साथ व्यभिचार किया जो सब के सब सव त्तम अश्शूरी थे; और जिस किसी पर वह मोहित हुई, उसी की मूरतों से वह अशुद्ध हुई।

7. Thus she committed her lewd deeds with them, with all them {that were} the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself.

8. जो व्यभिचार उस ने मिस्र में सीखा था, उसको भी उस ने न छोड़ा; क्योंकि बचपन में मनुष्यों ने उसके साथ कुकर्म किया, और उसकी छातियां मींजी, और तन- मन से उसके साथ व्यभिचार किया गया था।

8. Neither left she her lewd deeds {brought} from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and they first corrupted her, and poured their impurities upon her.

9. इस कारण मैं ने उसको उन्हीं अश्शूरी मित्रों के हाथ कर दिया जिन पर वह मोहित हुई थी।

9. Wherefore I have delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon whom she doted.

10. उन्हों ने उसको नंगी किया; उसके पुत्रा- मुत्रियां छीनकर उसको तलवार से घात किया; इस प्रकार उनके हाथ से दण्ड पाकर वह स्त्रियों में प्रसिद्ध हो गई।

10. These uncovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among women; for they had executed judgment upon her.

11. उसकी बहिन ओहोलीबा ने यह देखा, तौभी वह मोहित होकर व्यभिचार करने में अपनी बहिन से भी अधिक बढ़ गई।

11. And when her sister Aholibah saw {this}, she was more corrupt in her inordinate love than she, and in her prostitutions more than her sister in {her} prostitutions.

12. वह अपने अश्शूरी पड़ोसियों पर मोहित होती थी, जो सब के सब अति सुन्दर वस्त्रा पहिननेवाले और घोड़ों के सवार मनभावने, जवानन अधिपति और और प्रकार के प्रधान थे।

12. She doted upon the Assyrians {her} neighbors, captains and rulers clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.

13. तब मैं ने देखा कि वह भी अशुद्ध हो गई; उन दोनों बहिनों की एक ही चाल थी।

13. Then I saw that she was defiled, {that} they {took} both one way.

14. परन्तु ओहोलीबा अधिक व्यभिचार करती गई; सो जब उस ने भीत पर सेंदूर से खींचे हुए ऐसे कसदी पुरूषें के चित्रा देखेे,

14. And {that} she increased her prostitutions: for when she saw men pourtrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans pourtrayed with vermilion.

15. जो कटि में फेंटे बान्धे हुए, सिर में छोर लटकती हुई रंगीली पगड़ियां पहिने हुए, और सब के सब अपनी कसदी जन्मभूमि अर्थात् बाबुल के लोगों की रीति पर प्रधानों का रूप धरे हुए थे,

15. Girded with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed attire upon their heads, all of them princes to look to, after the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity:

16. तब उनको देखते ही वह उन पर मोहित हुई और उनके पास कसदियों के देश में दूत भेजे।

16. And as soon as she saw them with her eyes she doted upon them, and sent messengers to them into Chaldea.

17. सो बाबुली लोग उसके पास पलंग पर आए, और उसके साथ व्यभिचार करके उसे अशुद्ध किया; और जब वह उन से अशुद्ध हो गई, तब उसका मन उन से फिर गया।

17. And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their lewdness, and she was polluted with them, and her mind was alienated from them.

18. तौभी जब वह तन उधड़ती और व्यभिचार करती गई, तब मेरा मन जैसे उसकी बहिन से फिर गया था, वैसे ही उस से भी फिर गया।

18. So she disclosed her lewd deeds, and exposed her nakedness: then my mind was alienated from her, as my mind was alienated from her sister.

19. इस पर भी वह मिस्र देश के अपने बचपन के दिन स्मरण करके जब वह वेश्या का काम करती थी, और अधिक व्यभिचार करती गई;

19. Yet she multiplied her prostitutions, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, in which she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.

20. और ऐसे मिस्रों पर मोहित हुई, जिनका मांस गदहों का सा, और वीर्य घोड़ों का सा था।

20. For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh {is as} the flesh of asses, and whose issue {is like} the issue of horses.

21. तू इस प्रकार से अपने बचपन के उस समय के महापाप का स्मरण कराती है जब मिस्री लोग तेरी छातियां मींजते थे।

21. Thus thou calledst to remembrance the lewdness of thy youth, by being corrupted by the Egyptians in thy youth.

22. इस कारण हे ओहोलीबा, परमेश्वर यहोवा तुझ से यों कहता है, देख, मैं तेरे मिस्रों को उभारकर जिन से तेरा मन फिर गया चारों ओर से तेरे विरूद्ध ले आऊंगा।

22. Therefore, O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side;

23. अर्थात् बाबुलियों और सब कसदियों को, और पकोद, शो और कोआ के लोगों को; और उनके साथ सब अश्शूरियों को लाऊंगा जो सब के सब घोड़ों के सवार मनभावने जवान अधिपति, और कई प्रकार के प्रतिनिधि, प्रधान और नामी पुरूष हैं।

23. The Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, {and} all the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young men, captains and rulers, great lords and renowned, all of them riding upon horses.

24. वे लोग हथियार, रथ, छकड़े और देश देश के लोगों का दल लिए हुए तुझ पर चढ़ाई करेंगे; और ढाल और फरी और टोप धारण किए हुए तेरे विरूद्ध चारों ओर पांति बान्धेंगे; और मैं उन्हीं के हाथ न्याय का काम सौंपूंगा, और वे अपने अपने नियम के अनुसार तेरा न्याय करेंगे।

24. And they shall come against thee with chariots, wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, {which} shall set against thee buckler and shield and helmet on every side: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments.

25. और मैं तुझ पर जलूंगा, जिस से वे जलजलाहट के साथ तुझ से बर्ताव करेंगे। वे तेरी नाक और कान काट लेंगे, और तेरा जो भी बचा रहेगा वह तलवार से मारा जाएगा। वे तेरे पुत्रा- पुत्रियों को छीन ले जाएंगे, और तेरा जो भी बचा रहेगा, वह आग से भस्म हो जाएगा।

25. And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee: they shall take away thy nose and thy ears; and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.

26. वे तेरे वस्त्रा भी उतारकर तेरे सुन्दर- सुन्दर गहने छीन ले जाएंगे।

26. They shall also strip thee of thy clothes, and take away thy fair jewels.

27. इस रीति से मैं तेरा महापाप और जो वेश्या का काम तू ने मिस्र देश में सीखा था, उसे भी तुझ से छुड़ाऊंगा, यहां तक कि तू फिर अपनी आंख उनकी ओर न लगाएगी और न मिस्र देश को फिर स्मरण करेगी।

27. Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy adultery {brought} from the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thy eyes to them, nor remember Egypt any more.

28. क्योंकि प्रभु यहोवा तुझ से यों कहता है, देख, मैं तुझे उनके हाथ सौंपूंगा जिन से तू वैर रखती है और जिन से तेरा मन फिर गया है;

28. For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand {of them} whom thou hatest, into the hand {of them} from whom thy mind is alienated:

29. और वे तुझ से वैर के साथ बर्ताव करेंगे, और तेरी सारी कमाई को उठा लेंगे, और तुझे नंगा करके छोड़ देंगे, और तेरे तन के उघाड़े जाने से तेरा व्यभिचार और महापाप प्रगट हो जाएगा।

29. And they shall treat thee with hatred, and shall take away all thy labor, and shall leave thee naked and bare: and the nakedness of thy prostitutions shall be disclosed, both thy lewdness and thy prostitutions.

30. ये काम तुझ से इस कारण किए जाएंगे क्योंकि तू अन्यजातियों के पीछे व्यभिचारिणी की नाई हो गई, और उनकी मूरतें पूजकर अशुद्ध हो गई है।

30. I will do these {things} to thee, because thou hast gone astray after the heathen, {and} because thou art polluted with their idols.

31. तू अपनी बहिन की लीक पर चली है; इस कारण मैं तेरे हाथ में उसका सा कटोरा दूंगा।

31. Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thy hand.

32. प्रभु यहोवा यों कहता है, अपनी बहिन के कटोरे से तुझे पीना पड़ेगा जीे गहिरा और चौड़ा है; तू हंसी और ठट्ठों में उड़ाई जाएगी, क्योंकि उस कटोरे में बहुत कुछ समाता है।

32. Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of thy sister's cup deep and large: thou shalt be treated with scorn and had in derision; it containeth much.

33. तू मतवालेपन और दु:ख से छक जाएगी। तू अपनी बहिन शोमरोन के कटोरे को, अर्थात् विस्मय और उजाड़ को पीकर छक जाएगी।

33. Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria.

34. उस में से तू गार गारकर पीएगी, और उसके ठिकरों को भी चबाएगी और अपनी छातियां घायल करेगी; क्योंकि मैं ही ने ऐसा कहा है, प्रभु यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

34. Thou shalt even drink it, and empty it to the dregs, and thou shalt break its pieces, and pluck off thy own breasts: for I have spoken {it}, saith the Lord GOD.

35. तू ने जो मुझे भुला दिया है और अपना मुंह मुझ से फेर लिया है, इसलिये तू आप ही अपने महापाप और व्यभिचार का भार उठा, परमेश्वर यहोवा का यही वचन है।

35. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy prostitutions.

36. यहोवा ने मुझ से कहा, हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, क्या तू ओहोला और ओहोलीबा का न्याय करेगा? तो फिर उनके घिनौने काम उन्हें जता दे।

36. The LORD said moreover to me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yes, declare to them their abominations;

37. क्योंकि उन्हों ने व्यभिचार किया है, और उनके हाथों में खून लगा है; उन्हों ने अपनी मूरतों के साथ व्यभिचार किया, और अपने लड़केबाले जो मुझ से उत्पन्न हुए थे, उन मूरतों के आगे भस्म होने के लिये चढ़ाए हैं।

37. That they have committed adultery, and blood {is} in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bore to me, to pass for them through {the fire}, to devour {them}.

38. फिर उन्हों ने मुझ से ऐसा बर्ताव भी किया कि उसी के साथ मेरे पवित्रास्थान को भी अशुद्ध किया और मेरे विश्रामदिनों को अपवित्रा किया है।

38. Moreover this they have done to me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.

39. वे अपने लड़केबाले अपनी मूरतों के साम्हने बलि चढ़ाकर उसी दिन मेरा पवित्रास्थान अपवित्रा करने को उस में घुसी। देख, उन्हों ने इस भांति का काम मेरे भवन के भीतर किया हे।

39. For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and lo, thus have they done in the midst of my house.

40. और उन्हों ने दूर से पुरूषों को बुलवा भेजा, और वे चले भी आए। उनके लिये तू नहा धो, आंखों में अंजन लगा, गहने पहिनकर;

40. And furthermore, that ye have sent for men to come from far, to whom a messenger {was} sent; and lo, they came: for whom thou didst wash thyself, paint thy eyes, and deck thyself with ornaments,

41. सुन्दर पलंग पर बैठी रही; और तेरे साम्हने एक मेज़ बिछी हुई थी, जिस पर तू ने मेरा धूप और मेरा तेल रखा था।

41. And sattest upon a stately bed and a table prepared before it, upon which thou hast set my incense and my oil.

42. तब उसके साथ निश्चिन्त लोगों की भीड़ का कोलाहल सुन पड़ा, और उन साधारण लोगों के पास जंगल से बुलाए हुए पियक्कड़ लोग भी थे; उन्हों ने उन दोनों बहिनों के हाथों में चूडियां पहिनाई, और उनके सिरों पर शोभायमान मुकुट रखे।

42. And a voice of a multitude being at ease {was} with her: and with the men of the common sort {were} brought Sabeans from the wilderness, who put bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads.

43. तब जो क्यभिचार करते करते बुढ़िया हो गई थी, उसके विषय में बोल उठा, अब तो वे उसी के साथ व्यभिचार करेंगे।

43. Then said I to {her that was} old in adulteries, Will they now commit lewd deeds with her, and she {with them}?

44. क्योंकि वे उसके पास ऐसे गए जैसे लोग वेश्या के पास जाते हैं। वैसे ही वे ओहोला और ओहोलीबा नाम महापापिनी स्त्रियों के पास गए।

44. Yet they went in to her, as they go in to a woman that playeth the harlot: so they went in to Aholah and to Aholibah, the lewd women.

45. सो धम लोग व्यभिचारिणियों और हत्यारों के योग्य उसका न्याय करें; क्योंकि वे व्यभिचारिणीयों और हत्यारों के योग्य उसका न्याय करें; क्योंकि वे व्यभिचारिणी है, और उनके हाथों में खून लगा है।

45. And the righteous men, they shall judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed blood; because they {are} adulteresses, and blood {is} in their hands.

46. इस कारण परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, मैं एक भीड़ से उन पर चढ़ाई कराकर उन्हें ऐसा करूंगा कि वे मारी मारी फिरेंगी और लटी जाएंगी।

46. For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and plundered.

47. और उस भीड़ के लोग उनको पत्त्रवाह करके उन्हें अपनी तलवारों से काट डालेंगे, तब वे उनके पुत्रा- पुत्रियों को घात करके उनके घर भी आग लगाकर फूंक देंगे।

47. And the company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn their houses with fire.

48. इस प्रकार मैं महापाप को देश में से दूर करूंगा, और सब स्त्रियां शिक्षा माकर तुम्हारा सा महापाप करने से बची रहेगी।

48. Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.

49. तुम्हारा महापाप तुम्हारे ही सिर पड़ेगा; और तुम निश्चय अपनी मूरतों को पूजा के पापों का भार उठाओगे; और तब तुम जान लोगे कि मैं परमेश्वर यहोवा हूं।

49. And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your idols: and ye shall know that I {am} the Lord GOD.
