1. हे इस्त्राएल के चरवाहे, तू जो यूसुफ की अगुवाई भेड़ों की सी करता है, कान लगा! तू जो करूबों पर विराजमान है, अपना तेज दिखा!

1. Shepherd of Israel, listen to us. You lead the people of Joseph like a flock. You sit on your throne between the gold creatures with wings. Show your greatness

2. एप्रैम, बिन्यामीन, और मनश्शे के साम्हने अपना पराक्रम दिखाकर, हमारा उठ्ठार करने को आ!

2. to the people of Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh. Use your strength, and come to save us.

3. हे परमेश्वर, हम को ज्यों के त्यों कर दे; और अपने मुख का प्रकाश चमका, तब हमारा उठ्ठार हो जाएगा!

3. God, take us back. Show us your kindness so we can be saved.

4. हे सेनाओं के परमेश्वर यहोवा, तू कब तक अपनी प्रजा की प्रार्थना पर क्रोधित रहेगा?

4. Lord God All-Powerful, how long will you be angry at the prayers of your people?

5. तू ने आंसुओं को उनका आहार कर दिया, और मटके भर भरके उन्हें आंसु पिलाए हैं।

5. You have fed your people with tears; you have made them drink many tears.

6. तू हमें हमारे पड़ोसियों के झगड़ने का कारण कर देता है; और हमारे शत्रु मनमाने ठट्ठा करते हैं।।

6. You made those around us fight over us, and our enemies make fun of us.

7. हे सेनाओं के परमेश्वर, हम को ज्यों के त्यों कर दे; और अपने मुख का प्रकाश हम पर चमका, तब हमारा उठ्ठार हो जाएगा।।

7. God All-Powerful, take us back. Show us your kindness so we can be saved.

8. तू मि से एक दाखलता ले आया; और अन्यजातियों को निकालकर उसे लगा दिया।

8. You brought us out of Egypt as if we were a vine. You forced out other nations and planted us in the land.

9. तू ने उसके लिये स्थान तैयार किया है; और उस ने जड़ पकड़ी और फैलकर देश को भर दिया।

9. You cleared the ground for us. Like a vine, we took root and filled the land.

10. उसकी छाया पहाड़ों पर फैल गई, और उसकी डालियां ईश्वर के देवदारों के समान हुई;

10. We covered the mountains with our shade. We had limbs like the mighty cedar tree.

11. उसकी शाखाएं समुद्र तक बढ़ गई, और उसके अंकुर महानद तक फैल गए।

11. Our branches reached the Mediterranean Sea, and our shoots went to the Euphrates River.

12. फिर तू ने उसके बाड़ों को क्यों गिरा दिया, कि सब बटोही उसके फलों को तोड़ते है?

12. So why did you pull down our walls? Now everyone who passes by steals from us.

13. वनसूअर उसको नाश किए डालता है, और मैदान के सब पशु उसे चर जाते हैं।।

13. Like wild pigs they walk over us; like wild animals they feed on us.

14. हे सेनाओं के परमेश्वर, फिर आ! स्वर्ग से ध्यान देकर देख, और इस दाखलता की सुधि ले,

14. God All-Powerful, come back. Look down from heaven and see. Take care of us, your vine.

15. ये पौधा तू ने अपने दहिने हाथ से लगाया, और जो लता की शाखा तू ने अपने लिये दृढ़ की है।

15. You planted this shoot with your own hands and strengthened this child.

16. वह जल गई, वह कट गई है; तेरी घुड़की से वे नाश होते हैं।

16. Now it is cut down and burned with fire; you destroyed us by your angry looks.

17. तेरे दहिने हाथ के सम्भाले हुअ पुरूष पर तेरा हाथ रखा रहे, उस आदमी पर, जिसे तू ने अपने लिये दृढ़ किया है।

17. With your hand, strengthen the one you have chosen for yourself.

18. तब हम लोग तुझ से न मुड़ेंगे: तू हम को जिला, और हम तुझ से प्रार्थना कर सकेंगे।

18. Then we will not turn away from you. Give us life again, and we will call to you for help.

19. हे सेनाओं के परमेश्वर यहोवा, हम को ज्यों का त्यों कर दे! और अपने मुख का प्रकाश हम पर चमका, तब हमारा उठ्ठार हो जाएगा!

19. Lord God All-Powerful, take us back. Show us your kindness so we can be saved.
