1. जब यहोवा सिरयोन से लौअनेवालों को लौटा ले आया, तब हम स्वप्त देखनेवाले से हो गए।

1. A Song of Ascents. When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream.

2. तब हम आनन्द से हंसने और जयजयकार करने लगे; तब जाति जाति के बीच में कहा जाता था, कि यहोवा ने, इनके साथ बड़े बड़े काम किए हैं।

2. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations, 'The LORD has done great things for them.'

3. यहोवा ने हमारे साथ बड़े बड़े काम किए हैं; और इस से हम आनन्दित हैं।।

4. हे यहोवा, दक्खिन देश के नालों की नाईं, हमारे बन्धुओं को लौटा ले आ!

4. Restore our fortunes, O LORD, like the watercourses in the Negeb!
