1. जब यहोवा सिरयोन से लौअनेवालों को लौटा ले आया, तब हम स्वप्त देखनेवाले से हो गए।

1. When the LORD shall turn again the captivity of Zion, we shall be like those that dream.

2. तब हम आनन्द से हंसने और जयजयकार करने लगे; तब जाति जाति के बीच में कहा जाता था, कि यहोवा ने, इनके साथ बड़े बड़े काम किए हैं।

2. Then our mouth shall be filled with laughter and our tongue with singing; then they shall say among the Gentiles, The LORD has done great things with them.

3. यहोवा ने हमारे साथ बड़े बड़े काम किए हैं; और इस से हम आनन्दित हैं।।

3. The LORD has done great things with us, [of which] we shall be glad.

4. हे यहोवा, दक्खिन देश के नालों की नाईं, हमारे बन्धुओं को लौटा ले आ!

4. Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.

6. चाहे बोनेवाला बीज लेकर रोता हुआ चला जाए, परन्तु वह फिर पूलियां लिए जयजयकार करता हुआ निश्चय लौट आएगा।।
