1. फिर यहोवा ने अरयूब से यह भी कहो

1. Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said,

2. क्या जो बकवास करता है वह सर्वशक्तिमान से झगड़ा करे? जो ईश्वर से विवाद करता है वह इसका उत्तर दे।

2. Shall he that cavilleth contend with the Almighty? he that argueth with God, let him answer it.

3. तब अरयूब ते यहोवा को उत्तर दियो

3. Then Job answered the LORD, and said,

4. देख, मैं तो तुच्छ हूँ, मैं तुझे क्या उत्तर दूं? मैं अपनी अंगुली दांत तले दबाता हूँ।

4. Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer thee? I lay mine hand upon my mouth.

5. एक बार तो मैं कह चुका, परन्तु और कुछ न कहूंगो हां दो बार भी मैं कह चुका, परन्तु अब कुछ और आगे न बढ़ूंगा।

5. Once have I spoken, and I will not answer; yea twice, but I will proceed no further.

6. तब यहोवा ने अरयूब को आँधी में से यह उत्तर दियो

6. Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

7. पुरूष की नाई अपनी कमर बान्ध ले, मैं तुझ से प्रश्न करता हूँ, और तू मुझे बता।
लूका 12:35

7. Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

8. क्या तू मेरा न्याय भी व्यर्थ ठहराएगा? क्या तू आप निदष ठहरने की मनसा से मुझ को दोषी ठहराएगा?

8. Wilt thou even disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be justified?

9. क्या तेरा बाहुबल ईश्वर के तुल्य है? क्या तू उसके समान शब्द से गरज सकता है?

9. Or hast thou an arm like God? and canst thou thunder with a voice like him?

10. अब अपने को महिमा और प्रताप से संवार और ऐश्वरर्य और तेज के वस्त्रा पहिन ले।

10. Deck thyself now with excellency and dignity; and array thyself with honour and majesty.

11. अपने अति क्रोध की बाढ़ को बहा दे, और एक एक घमणडी को देखते ही उसे नीचा कर।

11. Pour forth the overflowings of thine anger: and look upon every one that is proud, and abase him.

12. हर एक घमणडी को देखकर झुका दे, और दुष्ट लोगों को जहां खड़े हों वहां से गिरा दे।

12. Look on every one that is proud, {cf15i and} bring him low; and tread down the wicked where they stand.

13. उनको एक संग मिट्टी में मिला दे, और उस गुप्त स्थान में उनके मुंह बान्ध दे।

13. Hide them in the dust together; bind their faces in the hidden {cf15i place}.

14. तब मैं भी तेरे विषय में मान लूंगा, कि तेरा ही दहिना हाथ तेरा उद्वार कर सकता है।

14. Then wilt I also confess of thee that thine own right hand can save thee.

15. उस जलगज को देख, जिसको मैं ने तेरे साथ बनाया है, वह बैल की नाई घास खाता है।

15. Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as all ox.

16. देख उसकी कटि में बल है, और उसके पेट के पट्ठों में उसकी सामर्थ्य रहती है।

16. Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the muscles of his belly.

17. वह अपनी पूंछ को देवदार की नाई हिलाता है; उसकी जांधों की नसें एक दूसरे से मिली हुई हैं।

17. He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his thighs are knit together.

18. उसकी हटि्टयां मानो पीतल की नलियां हैं, उसकी पसुलियां मानो लोेहे के बेंड़े हैं।

18. His bones are as tubes of brass; his limbs are like bars of iron.

19. वह ईश्वर का मुख्य कार्य है; जो उसका सिरजनहार हो उसके निकट तलवार लेकर आए !

19. He is the chief of the ways of God: he {cf15i only} that made him can make his sword to approach {cf15i unto him}.

20. निश्चय पहाड़ों पर उसका चारा मिलता है, जहां और सब वनपशु कालोल करते हैं।

20. Surely the mountains bring him forth food; where all the beasts of the field do play.

21. वह छतनार वृक्षों के तले नरकटों की आड़ में और कीच पर लेटा करता है

21. He lieth under the lotus trees, in the covert of the reed, and the fen.

22. छतनार वृक्ष उस पर छाया करते हैं, वह नाले के बेंत के वृक्षों से घिरा रहता है।

22. The lotus trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.

23. चाहे नदी की बाढ़ भी हो तौभी वह न घबराएगा, चाहे यरदन भी बढ़कर उसके मुंह तक आए परन्तु वह निर्भय रहेगा।

23. Behold, if a river overflow, he trembleth not: he is confident, though Jordan swell even to his mouth.

24. जब वह चौकस हो तब क्या कोई उसको पकड़ सकेगा, वा फन्दे लगाकर उसको नाथ सकेगा?

24. Shall any take him when he is on the watch, or pierce through his nose with a snare?
