1. फिर मूसा मोआब के अराबा से नबो पहाड़ पर, जो पिसगा की एक चोटी और यरीहो के साम्हने है, चढ़ गया; और यहोवा ने उसको दान तक का गिलाद नाम सारा देश,

1. Therfor Moyses stiede fro the feeldi places of Moab on the hil of Nebo, in to the cop of Fasga, ayens Gerico. And the Lord schewide to hym al the lond of Galaad `til to Dan,

2. और नप्ताली का सारा देश, और एप्रैम और मनश्शे का देश, और पच्छिम के समुद्र तक का यहूदा का सारा देश,

2. and al Neptalym, and the lond of Effraym and of Manasses, and al the lond of Juda, `til to the laste see; and the south part,

3. और दक्खिन देश, और सोअर तक की यरीहो नाम खजूरवाले नगर की तराई, यह सब दिखाया।

3. and the breede of the feeld of Jerico, of the citee of Palmes `til to Segor.

4. तब याहोवा ने उस से कहा, जिस देश के विषय में मैं ने इब्राहीम, इसहाक, और याकूब से शपथ खाकर कहा था, कि मैं इसे तेरे वंश को दूंगा वह यही है। मैं ने इसको तुझे साक्षात दिखला दिया है, परन्तु तू पार होकर वहां जाने न पाएगा।

4. And the Lord seide to hym, This is the lond for which Y swoor to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and Y seide, Y schal yyue it to thi seed; thou hast seyn it with thin iyen, and thou schalt not passe `to it.

5. तब यहोवा के कहने के अनुसार उसका दास मूसा वहीं मोआब देश में मर गया,

5. And Moyses, the seruaunt of the Lord, was deed there, in the lond of Moab, `for the Lord comaundide.

6. और उस ने उसे मोआब के देश में बेतपोर के साम्हने एक तराई में मिट्टी दी; और आज के दिन तक कोई नहीं जानता कि उसकी कब्र कहां है।

6. And the Lord biriede hym in a valey of the lond of Moab, ayens Fegor, and no man knewe his sepulcre `til in to present day.

7. मूसा अपनी मृत्यु के समय एक सौ बीस वर्ष का था; परन्तु न तो उसकी आंखें धुंधली पड़ीं, और न उसका पौरूष घटा था।

7. Moises was of an hundrid and twenti yeer whanne he diede; his iye dasewide not, nethir hise teeth weren stirid.

8. और इस्राएली मोआब के अराबा में मूसा के लिये तीस दिन तक रोते रहे; तक मूसा के लिये रोने और विलाप करने के दिन पूरे हुए।

8. And the sones of Israel biwepten hym thretti daies in the feeldi places of Moab; and the daies of weilyng of men `bymorenynge Moises weren fillid.

9. और नून का पुत्रा यहोशू बुद्धिमानी की आत्मा से परिपूर्ण था, क्योंकि मूसा ने अपने हाथ उस पर रखे थे; और इस्राएली उस आज्ञा के अनुसार जो याहोवा ने मूसा को दी थी उसकी मानते रहे।

9. Forsothe Josue, the sone of Nun, was fillid with `the spyrit of wisdom, for Moises settide hise hondis on hym; and the sones of Israel obeieden to Josue, and diden as the Lord comaundide to Moises.

10. और मूसा के तुल्य इस्राएल में ऐसा कोई नबी नहीं उठा, जिस से यहोवा ने आम्हने- साम्हने बातें कीं,

10. And `a profete roos no more in Israel `as Moises, whom the Lord knewe face to face,

11. और उसको यहोवा ने फिरौन और उसके सब कर्मचारियों के साम्हने, और उसके सारे देश में, सब चिन्ह और चमत्कार करने को भेजा था,

11. in alle myraclis, and grete wondris, whiche the Lord sente bi hym, that he schulde do in the lond of Egipt to Farao, and alle hise seruauntis, and to al the lond `of hym,

12. और उस ने सारे इस्राएलियों की दृष्टि में बलवन्त हाथ और बड़े भय के काम कर दिखाए।।

12. and al strong hond, and the `grete merueylis, whiche Moyses dide bifor al Israel.
