1. फिर मूसा मोआब के अराबा से नबो पहाड़ पर, जो पिसगा की एक चोटी और यरीहो के साम्हने है, चढ़ गया; और यहोवा ने उसको दान तक का गिलाद नाम सारा देश,

1. And Moyses went from the playne of Moab, vp into mount Nebo, and vnto the top of the hyll that is ouer agaynst Iericho: And the Lord shewed hym all the lande of Gilead, euen vnto Dan:

2. और नप्ताली का सारा देश, और एप्रैम और मनश्शे का देश, और पच्छिम के समुद्र तक का यहूदा का सारा देश,

2. And all Nephthali, and the lande of Ephraim, & Manasse, and all the lande of Iuda, euen vnto the vtmost sea:

3. और दक्खिन देश, और सोअर तक की यरीहो नाम खजूरवाले नगर की तराई, यह सब दिखाया।

3. And the south, and the playne of the valley of Iericho, the citie of palme trees [euen] vnto Zoar.

4. तब याहोवा ने उस से कहा, जिस देश के विषय में मैं ने इब्राहीम, इसहाक, और याकूब से शपथ खाकर कहा था, कि मैं इसे तेरे वंश को दूंगा वह यही है। मैं ने इसको तुझे साक्षात दिखला दिया है, परन्तु तू पार होकर वहां जाने न पाएगा।

4. And the Lorde sayd vnto hym: This is the lande which I sware vnto Abraham, Isahac, and Iacob, saying, I wyll geue it vnto thy seede: I haue caused thee also to see it with thine eies, but thou shalt not go ouer thyther.

5. तब यहोवा के कहने के अनुसार उसका दास मूसा वहीं मोआब देश में मर गया,

5. So Moyses the seruaunt of the Lord dyed there in the lande of Moab, accordyng to the worde of the Lorde.

6. और उस ने उसे मोआब के देश में बेतपोर के साम्हने एक तराई में मिट्टी दी; और आज के दिन तक कोई नहीं जानता कि उसकी कब्र कहां है।

6. And he buryed hym in a valley, in the lande of Moab, ouer agaynst the house of Peor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre vnto this day.

7. मूसा अपनी मृत्यु के समय एक सौ बीस वर्ष का था; परन्तु न तो उसकी आंखें धुंधली पड़ीं, और न उसका पौरूष घटा था।

7. Moyses was an hundred and twentie yeres olde when he dyed: his eye was not dymme, nor his naturall force abated.

8. और इस्राएली मोआब के अराबा में मूसा के लिये तीस दिन तक रोते रहे; तक मूसा के लिये रोने और विलाप करने के दिन पूरे हुए।

8. And the children of Israel wept for Moyses in the playne of Moab thirtie dayes: And the dayes of weepyng and mournyng for Moyses were ended.

9. और नून का पुत्रा यहोशू बुद्धिमानी की आत्मा से परिपूर्ण था, क्योंकि मूसा ने अपने हाथ उस पर रखे थे; और इस्राएली उस आज्ञा के अनुसार जो याहोवा ने मूसा को दी थी उसकी मानते रहे।

9. And Iosuah the sonne of Nun was ful of the spirite of wisdome, for Moyses had put his handes vpon hym: And the children of Israel were obedient vnto hym, and dyd as the Lorde commaunded Moyses.

10. और मूसा के तुल्य इस्राएल में ऐसा कोई नबी नहीं उठा, जिस से यहोवा ने आम्हने- साम्हने बातें कीं,

10. And there arose not a prophete since in Israel, lyke vnto Moyses whom the Lorde knewe face to face,

11. और उसको यहोवा ने फिरौन और उसके सब कर्मचारियों के साम्हने, और उसके सारे देश में, सब चिन्ह और चमत्कार करने को भेजा था,

11. Accordyng vnto all the miracles and wonders which the Lorde sent hym to do in the lande of Egypt before Pharao and all his seruauntes, and before all his lande,

12. और उस ने सारे इस्राएलियों की दृष्टि में बलवन्त हाथ और बड़े भय के काम कर दिखाए।।

12. And accordyng to all that mightie hande, and all the great feare which Moyses shewed in the syght of all Israel.
