1. क्या तुम में से किसी को यह हियाव है, कि जब दूसरे के साथ झगड़ा हो, तो फैसले के लिये अधिर्मियों के पास जाए; और पवित्रा लागों के पास न जाए?

1. How dare one off you hauynge busynes with another, go to lawe before the vnrighteous, and not before the sayntes?

2. क्या तुम नहीं जानते, कि पवित्रा लोग जगत का न्याय करेंगे? सो जब तुम्हें जगत का न्याय करना हे, तो क्या तुम छोटे से छोटे झगड़ों का भी निर्णय करने के योग्य नहीं?
दानिय्येल 7:22

2. Do ye not knowe that the sayntes shal iudge the worlde? Yf the worlde then shalbe iudged off you, are ye not good ynough to iudge small matters?

3. क्या तुम नहीं जानते, कि हम स्वर्गदूतों का न्याय करेंगे? तो क्या सांसारिक बातों का निर्णय करना हो, तो क्या उन्हीं को बैठाओगे जो कलीसिया में कुछ नहीं समझे जाते हैं?

3. Knowe ye not that we shal iudge the angels? how moch more thinges that pertayne to the teporall life?

4. सो यदि तुम्हें सांसारिक बातों का निर्णय करना हो, तो क्या उन्हीं को बैठाओगे जो कलीसिया में कुछ नहीं समझे जाते हैं?

4. Therfore yf ye haue iudgmentes of temporall matters, take them that are despysed in the congregacion, and set them to be iudges.

5. मैं तुम्हें लज्जित करने के लिये यह कहता हूं: क्या सचमुच तुम में से एक भी बुद्धिमान नहीं मिलता, जो अपने भाइयों का निर्णय कर सके?

5. This I saye to youre shame. Is there vtterly no wyse man amoge you? What not one at all, that can iudge betwene brother & brother?

6. बरन भाई भाई में मुक मा होता है, और वह भी अविश्वासियों के साम्हने।

6. but one brother goeth to lawe with another, and that before the vnbeleuers?

7. परन्तु सचमुच तुम में बड़ा दोष तो यह है, कि आपस में मुक मा करते हो: बरन अन्याय क्यों नहीं सहते? अपनी हानि क्यों नहीं सहते?

7. Now therfore is there vtterly a faute amoge you, that ye go to lawe one with another. Why rather suffre ye not wronge? Why suffre ye not youre selues rather to be defrauded?

8. बरन अन्याय करते और हानि पहुंचाते हो, और वह भी भाइयों को।

8. but ye youre selues do wroge and defraude, and that euen the brethre.

9. क्या तुम नहीं जानते, कि अन्यायी लोग परमेश्वर के राज्य के वारिस न होंगे? धोखा न खाओ, न वेश्यागामी, न मूत्तिपूजक, न परस्त्रीगामी, न लुच्चे, न पुरूषगामी।

9. Knowe ye not that ye vnrighteous shal not inheret the kyngdome of God? Be not disceaued. Nether whoremongers, ner worshippers off ymages, ner breakers off wedlocke, ner weaklinges, nether abusers of them selues with mankynde,

10. न चोर, न लोभी, न पियक्कड़, न गाली देनेवाले, न अन्धेर करनेवाले परमेश्वर के राज्य के वारिस होंगे।

10. ner theues, nether the couetous, ner drokardes, ner cursed speakers, ner extorcioners shal inheret the kyngdome of God.

11. और तुम में से कितने ऐसे ही थे, परन्तु तुम प्रभु यीशु मसीह के नाम से और हमारे परमेश्वर के आत्मा से धोए गए, और पवित्रा हुए और धर्मी ठहरे।।

11. And soch haue some of you bene, but ye are wasshed, ye are sanctified, ye are made righteous by the name of the LORDE Iesus, and by the sprete of oure God.

12. सब वस्तुएं मेरे लिये उचित तो हैं, परन्तु सब वस्तुएं लाभ की नहीं, सब वस्तुएं मेरे लिये उचित हैं, परन्तु मैं किसी बात के आधीन न हूंगा।

12. I maye do all thinges, but all thinges are not profitable. I maye do all thinges, but I wil be broughte vnder no mas power.

13. भोजन पेट के लिये, और पेट भोजन के लिये है, परन्तु परमेश्वर इस को और उस को दोनों को नाश करेगा, परन्तु देह व्यभिचार के लिये नहीं, बरन प्रभु के लिये; और प्रभु देह के लिये है।

13. Meates are ordeyned for ye bely, & the bely for meates. But God shal destroye both it and them. The body belongeth not vnto whordome, but vnto the LORDE, and the LORDE vnto the body

14. और परमेश्वर ने अपनी सामर्थ से प्रभु को जिलाया, और हमें भी जिलाएगा।

14. God hath raysed vp the LORDE, and shal rayse vs vp also by his power.

15. क्या तुम नहीं जानते, कि तुम्हारी देह मसीह के अंग हैं? सो क्या मैं मसीह के अंग लेकर उन्हें वेश्या के अंग बनाऊं? कदापि नहीं।

15. Knowe ye not that youre bodies are the mebres of Christ? Shal I now take the membres of Christ, and make them the membres of an harlot? God forbyd.

16. क्या तुम नहीं जानते, कि जो कोई वेश्या से संगति करता है, वह उसके साथ एक तन हो जाता है क्योंकि वह कहता है, कि वे दोनों एक तन होंगे।
उत्पत्ति 2:24

16. Or do ye not knowe, that he which cleueth vnto an harlot, is one body? For they shalbe two ( sayeth he) in one flesshe.

17. और जो प्रभु की संगति में रहता है, वह उसके साथ एक आत्मा हो जाता है।

17. But he that cleueth vnto the LORDE, is one sprete.

18. व्यभिचार से बचे रहो: जितने और पाप मनुष्य करता है, वे देह के बाहर हैं, परन्तु व्यभिचार करनेवाला अपनी ही देह के विरूद्ध पाप करता है।
यिर्मयाह 31:9

18. Fle whordome. All synnes yt a man doth, are without the body. But he that commytteth whordome, synneth agaynst his awne body.

19. क्या तुम नहीं जानते, कि तुम्हारी देह पवित्रात्मा का मन्दिर है; जो तुम में बसा हुआ है और तुम्हें परमेश्वर की ओर से मिला है, और तुम अपने नहीं हो?

19. Or knowe ye not that youre body is the temple of the holy goost? Whom ye haue of God, and are not youre awne?

20. कयोंकि दाम देकर मोल लिये गए हो, इसलिये अपनी देह के द्वारा परमेश्वर की महिमा करो।।

20. For ye are dearly boughte. Prayse ye God therfore in yor body & in yor sprete, which are Gods.
