1. हे भाइयों, मैं नहीं चाहता कि तुम आत्मिक बरदानों के विषय में अज्ञात रहो।

1. In spirituall thinges brethren I wolde not have you ignoraunt.

2. तुम जानते हो, कि जब तुम अन्यजाति थे, तो गूंगी मूरतों के पीछे जेसे चलाए जाते थे वैसे चलते थे।
हबक्कूक 2:18-19

2. Ye knowe that ye were gentyls and went youre wayes vnto domme ydoles even as ye were ledde.

3. इसलिये मैं तुम्हें चितौनी देता हूं कि जो कोई परमेश्वर की आत्मा की अगुआई से बोलता है, वह नहीं कहता कि यीशु स्त्रापित है; और न कोई पवित्रा आत्मा के बिना कह सकता है कि यीशु प्रभु है।।

3. Wherfore I declare vnto you that no man speakynge in the sprete of god defieth Iesus. Also no man can saye that Iesus is the lorde: but by the holy goost.

4. बरदान तो कई प्रकार के हैं, परन्तु आत्मा एक ही है।

4. Ther are diversities of gyftes verely yet but one sprete.

5. और सेवा भी कई प्रकार की है, परन्तु प्रभु एक ही है।

5. And ther are differences of administracions and yet but one lorde.

6. और प्रभावशाली कारर्य कई प्रकार के हैं, परन्तु परमशॆवर एक ही है, जो सब में हर प्रकार का प्रभाव उत्पन्न करता है।

6. And ther are divers maners of operacions and yet but one God which worketh all thinges that are wrought in all creatures.

7. किन्तु सब के लाभ पहुंचाने के लिये हर एक को आत्मा का प्रकाश दिया जाता है।

7. The gyftes of ye sprete are geven to every man to proffit ye congregacion.

8. क्योंकि एक को आत्मा के द्वारा बुद्वि की बातें दी जाती हैं; और दूसरे को उसी आत्मा के अनुसार ज्ञान की बातें।

8. To one is geven thorow the spirite the vtteraunce of wisdome? To another is geven the vtteraunce of knowledge by ye same sprete.

9. और किसी को उसी आत्मा से विश्वास; और किसी को उसी एक आत्मा से चंगा करने का बरदान दिया जाता है।

9. To another is geuen fayth by ye same sprete. To another ye gyftes of healynge by the same sprete.

10. फिर किसी को सामर्थ के काम करने की शक्ति; और किसी को भविष्यद्वाणी की; और किसी को अनेक प्रकार की भाषा; और किसी को भाषाओं का अर्थ बताना।

10. To another power to do myracles. To another prophesie? To another iudgement of spretes. To another divers tonges. To another the interpretacion of toges.

11. परन्तु ये सब प्रभावशाली कारर्य वही एक आत्मा करवाता है, और जिसे जो चाहता है वह बांट देता है।।

11. And these all worketh eve ye silfe same sprete devydynge to every man severall gyftes even as he will.

12. क्योंकि जिस प्रकार देह तो एक है और उसके अंग बहुत से हैं, और उस एक देह के सब अंग, बहुत होने पर भी सब मिलकर एक ही देह हैं, उसी प्रकार मसीह भी है।

12. For as the body is one and hath many mebres and all the membres of one body though they be many yet are but one body: even so is Christ.

13. क्योंकि हम सब ने क्या यहूदी हो, क्या युनानी, क्या दास, क्या स्वतंत्रा एक ही आत्मा के द्वारा एक देह होने के लिये बपतिस्मा लिया, और हम एक को एक ही आत्मा पिलाया गया।

13. For in one sprete are we all baptysed to make one body whether we be Iewes or getyls whether we be bonde or fre: and have all dronke of one sprete.

14. इसलिये कि देह में एक ही अंग नहीं, परन्तु बहुत से हैं।

14. For the body is not one member but many.

15. यदि पांव कहे: कि मैं हाथ नहीं, इसलिये देह का नहीं, तो क्या वह इस कारण देह का नहीं?

15. Yf the fote saye: I am not the honde therfore I am not of the body: is he therfore not of ye body:

16. और यदि कान कहे; कि मैं आंख का नहीं, इसलिये देह का नहीं, तो क्या वह इस कारण देह का नहीं।

16. And if ye eare saye I am not the eye: therfore I am not of the body: is he therfore not of the body?

17. यदि सारी देह आंख की होती तो सुनना कहां से होता? यदि सारी देह कान ही होती तो सूंघना कहां होता?

17. If all the body were an eye where were then the eare? If all were hearynge: where were the smellynge?

18. परन्तु सचमुच परमेश्वर ने अंगो को अपनी इच्छा के अनुसार एक एक करके देह में रखा है।

18. But now hath god disposed the membres every one of them in the body at his awne pleasure.

19. यदि वे सब एक ही अंग होते, तो देह कहां होती?

19. If they were all one member: where were the body?

20. परन्तु अब अंग तो बहुत से हैं, परन्तु देह एक ही है।

20. Now are ther many membres yet but one body.

21. आंख हाथ से नहीं कह सकती, कि मुझे तेरा प्रयोजन नहीं, और न सिर पांवों से कह सकता है, कि मुझे तुम्हारा प्रयोजन नहीं।

21. And the eye can not saye vnto the honde I have no nede of the: nor ye heed also to the fete. I have no nede of you.

22. परन्तु देह के वे अंग जो औरों से निर्बल देख पड़ते हैं, बहुत ही आवश्यक हैं।

22. Ye rather a greate deale those mebres of the body which seme to be most feble are most necessary.

23. और देह के जिन अंगो को हम आदर के योग्य नहीं समझते हैं उन्ही को हम अधिक आदर देते हैं; और हमारे शोभाहीन अंग और भी बहुत शोभायमान हो जाते हैं।

23. And apo those mebres of yt body which we thinke lest honest put we most honestie on. And oure vngodly parties have most beauty on.

24. फिर भी हमारे शोभायमान अंगो केा इस का प्रयोजन नहीं, परन्तु परमेश्वर ने देह को ऐसा बना दिया है, कि जिस अंग को घटी थी उसी को और भी बहुत आदर हो।

24. For oure honest members nede it not. But God hath so disposed the body ad hath geven most honoure to that parte which laked

25. ताकि देह में फूट न पड़े, परन्तु अंग एक दूसरे की बराबर चिन्ता करें।

25. lest there shuld be eny stryfe in the body: but that the members shuld indifferetly care one for another.

26. इसलिये यदि एक अंग दु:ख पाता है, तो सब अंग उसके साथ दु:ख पाते हैं; और यदि एक अंग की बड़ाई होती है, तो उसके साथ सब अंग आनन्द मनाते हैं।

26. And yf one member suffer all suffer with him: yf one member be had in honoure all members be glad also.

27. इसी प्रकार तुम सब मिलकर मसीह की देह हो, और अलग अलग उसके अंग हो।

27. Ye are the body of Christ and members one of another.

28. और परमशॆवर ने कलीसिया में अलग अलग व्यक्ति नियुक्त किए हैं; प्रथम प्रेरित, दूसरे भविष्यद्वक्ता, तीसरे शिक्षक, फिर सामर्थ के काम करनेवाले, फिर चंगा करनेवाले, और उपकार करनेवाले, और प्रधान, और नाना प्रकार की भाषा बालनेवाले।

28. And God hath also ordeyned in the congregacion fyrst the Apostels secodarely prophetes thyrdly teachers then the that do miracles: after that the gyftes of healynge helpers governers diversite of tonges.

29. क्या सब प्रेरित हैं? क्या सब भविष्यद्वक्ता हैं? क्या सब उपदेशक हैं? क्या सब सामर्थ के काम करनेवाले हैं?

29. Are all Apostles? Are all Prophetes? Are all teachers? Are all doars of miracles?

30. क्या सब को चंगा करने का बरदान मिला है? क्या सब नाना प्रकार की भाषा बोलते हैं?

30. Have all the gyftes of healinge? Do all speake wt tonges? Do all interprete?

31. क्या सब अनुवाद करते हैं? तुम बड़ी से बड़ी बरदानों की धुन में रहो! परन्तु मैं तुम्हें और भी सब से उत्तम मार्ग बताता हूं।।

31. Covet after ye best giftes. Amd yet shewe I vnto you a moare excellent waye.
