1. से जब हम विश्वास से धर्मी ठहरे, तो अपने प्रभु यीशु मसीह के द्वारा परमेश्वर के साथ मेल रखें।

1. by who we have awaye in thorow fayth vnto this grace wherin we stonde aud reioyce in hope of the prayse that shalbe geven of God.

2. जिस के द्वारा विश्वास के कारण उस अनुग्रह तक, जिस में हम बने हैं, हमारी पहुंच भी हुई, और परमेश्वर की महिमा की आशा पर घमण्ड करें।

2. Nether do we so only: but also we reioyce in tribulacion. For we know that tribulacion bringeth pacience

3. केवल यही नहीं, बरन हम क्लेशों में भी घमण्ड करें, यही जानकर कि क्लेश से धीरज।

3. pacience bringeth experience experience bringeth hope.

4. ओर धीरज से खरा निकलना, और खरे निकलने से आशा उत्पन्न होती है।

4. And hope maketh not ashamed for the love of God is sheed abrod in oure hertes by the holy goost which is geven vnto vs.

5. और आशा से लज्जा नहीं होती, क्योंकि पवित्रा आत्मा जो हमें दिया गया है उसके द्वारा परमेश्वर का प्रेम हमारे मन में डाला गया है।

5. For when we were yet weake accordynge to ye tyme: Christ dyed for vs which were vngodly.

6. क्योंकि जब हम निर्बल ही थे, तो मसीह ठीक समय पर भक्तिहीनों के लिये मरा।

6. Yet scace will eny man dye for a rightewes man. Paraventure for a good ma durst a man dye.

7. किसी धर्मी जन के लिये कोई मरे, यह तो दुर्लभ है, परन्तु क्या जाने किसी भले मनुष्य के लिये कोई मरने का भी हियाव करे।

7. But God setteth out his love that he hath to vs seinge that whyll we were yet synners Christ dyed for vs.

8. परन्तु परमेश्वर हम पर अपने प्रेम की भलाई इस रीति से प्रगट करता है, कि जब हम पापी ही थे तभी मसीह हमारे लिये मरा।

8. Moche more then now (seynge we are iustifyed in his bloud) shall we be saved from wrath thorow him.

9. सो जब कि हम, अब उसके लोहूं के कारण धर्मी ठहरे, तो उसके द्वारा क्रोध से क्यों न बचेंगे?

9. For yf when we were enemyes we were reconciled to God by the deeth of his sonne: moche more seinge we are reconciled we shal be preservid by his lyfe.

10. क्योंकि बैरी होने की दशा में तो उसके पुत्रा की मृत्यु के द्वारा हमारा मेल परमेश्वर के साथ हुआ फिर मेल हो जाने पर उसके जीवन के कारण हम उद्धार क्यों न पाएंगे?

10. Not only so but we also ioye in God by the meanes of oure Lorde Iesus Christ by whom we have receavyd the attonment.

11. और केवल यही नहीं, परन्तु हम अपने प्रभु यीशु मसीह के द्वारा जिस के द्वारा हमारा मेल हुआ है, परमेश्वर के विषय में घमण्ड भी करते हैं।।

11. Wherfore as by one ma synne entred into the worlde and deeth by the meanes of synne. And so deeth went over all men in somoche that all men synned.

12. इसलिये जैसा एक मनुष्य के द्वारा पाप जगत में आया, और पाप के द्वारा मृत्यु आई, और इस रीति से मृत्यु सब मनुष्यों में फैल गई, इसलिये कि सब ने पाप किया।

12. For even vnto the tyme of the lawe was synne in the worlde: but synne was not regarded as longe as ther was no lawe:

13. क्योंकि व्यवस्था के दिए जाने तक पाप जगत में तो था, परन्तु जहां व्यवस्था नहीं, वहां पाप गिना नहीं जाता।

13. neverthelesse deeth rayned fro Adam to Moses eve over them also that synned not wt lyke transgression as dyd Adam: which is ye similitude of him that is to come.

14. तौभी आदम से लेकर मूसा तक मृत्यु ने उन लोगों पर भी राज्य किया, जिन्हों ने उस आदम के अपराध की नाईं जो उस आनेवाले का चिन्ह है, पाप न किया।

14. But the gyfte is not lyke as the synne. For yf thorow the synne of one many be deed: moche more plenteous vpon many was the grace of God and gyfte by grace: which grace was geven by one man Iesus Christ.

15. पर जैसा अपराध की दशा है, वैसी अनुग्रह के बरदान की नहीं, क्योंकि जब एक मनुष्य के अपराध से बहुत लोग मरे, तो परमेश्वर का अनुग्रह और उसका जो दान एक मनुष्य के, अर्थात् यीशु मसीह के अनुग्रह से हुआ बहुतेरे लागों पर अवश्य ही अधिकाई से हुआ।

15. And ye gifte is not over one synne as deeth cam thorow one synne of one yt synned. For damnacion cam of one synne vnto condemnacion: but the gyft cam to iustify fro many synnes.

16. और जैसा एक मनुष्य के पाप करने का फल हुआ, वैसा ही दान की दशा नहीं, क्योंकि एक ही के कारण दण्ड की आज्ञा का फैसला हुअ, परन्तु बहुतेरे अपराधों से ऐसा बरदान उत्पन्न हुआ, कि लोग धर्मी ठहरे।

16. For yf by the synne of one deeth raigned by the meanes of one moche more shall they which receave aboundance of grace and of the gyfte of rightewesnes raygne in lyfe by the meanes of one (that is to saye) Iesus Christ.

17. क्योंकि जब एक मनुष्य के अपराध के कराण मृत्यु ने उस एक ही के द्वारा राज्य किया, तो जो लोग अनुग्रह और धर्मरूमी बरदान बहुतायत से पाते हैं वे एक मनुष्य के, अर्थात् यीशु मसीह के द्वारा अवश्य ही अनन्त जीवन में राज्य करेंगे।

17. Lykewyse then as by the synne of one condemnacion cam on all men: eve so by the iustifyinge of one cometh the rightewesnes that bringeth lyfe vpo all men.

18. इसलिये जैसा एक अपराध सब मनुष्यों के लिये दण्ड की आज्ञा का कारण हुआ, वेसा ही एक धर्म का काम भी सब मनुष्यों के लिये जीवन के निमित्त धर्मी ठहराए जाने का कारण हुआ।

18. For as by one manes disobediece many be cam synners: so by ye obediece of one shall many be made righteous.

19. क्योंकि जैसा एक मनुष्य के आज्ञा न मानने से बहुत लोग पापी ठहरे, वैसे ही एक मनुष्य के आज्ञा मानने से बहुत लोग धर्मी ठहरेंगे।
यशायाह 53:11

19. But ye lawe in the meane tyme entred in yt synne shuld encreace. Neverthelater where aboundaunce of synne was there was more plenteousnes of grace.

20. और व्यवस्था बीच में आ गई, कि अपराध बहुत हो, परन्तु जहां पाप बहुत हुआ, वहां अनुग्रह उस से भी कहीं अधिक हुआ।

20. That as synne had raigned vnto deeth even so might grace raygne thorow rightewesnes vnto eternall lyfe by the helpe of Iesu Christ.

21. कि जैसा पाप ने मृत्यु फैलाते हुए राज्य किया, वैसा ही हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह के द्वारा अनुग्रह भी अनन्त जीवन के लिये धर्मी ठहराते हुए राज्य करे।।

21. What shall we saye then? Shall we continue in synne that there maye be aboundaunce of grace?
