1. से जब हम विश्वास से धर्मी ठहरे, तो अपने प्रभु यीशु मसीह के द्वारा परमेश्वर के साथ मेल रखें।

1. Then being iustified by faith, we haue peace toward God through our Lord Iesus Christ.

2. जिस के द्वारा विश्वास के कारण उस अनुग्रह तक, जिस में हम बने हैं, हमारी पहुंच भी हुई, और परमेश्वर की महिमा की आशा पर घमण्ड करें।

2. By who also through faith, we haue had this accesse into this grace, wherein we stand, and reioyce vnder ye hope of the glory of God.

3. केवल यही नहीं, बरन हम क्लेशों में भी घमण्ड करें, यही जानकर कि क्लेश से धीरज।

3. Neither that onely, but also we reioyce in tribulations, knowing that tribulation bringeth forth patience,

4. ओर धीरज से खरा निकलना, और खरे निकलने से आशा उत्पन्न होती है।

4. And patience experience, and experience hope,

5. और आशा से लज्जा नहीं होती, क्योंकि पवित्रा आत्मा जो हमें दिया गया है उसके द्वारा परमेश्वर का प्रेम हमारे मन में डाला गया है।
भजन संहिता 22:5, भजन संहिता 25:20

5. And hope maketh not ashamed, because the loue of God is shed abroade in our heartes by the holy Ghost, which is giuen vnto vs.

6. क्योंकि जब हम निर्बल ही थे, तो मसीह ठीक समय पर भक्तिहीनों के लिये मरा।

6. For Christ, when we were yet of no strength, at his time died for the vngodly.

7. किसी धर्मी जन के लिये कोई मरे, यह तो दुर्लभ है, परन्तु क्या जाने किसी भले मनुष्य के लिये कोई मरने का भी हियाव करे।

7. Doutles one will scarce die for a righteous man: but yet for a good man it may be that one dare die.

8. परन्तु परमेश्वर हम पर अपने प्रेम की भलाई इस रीति से प्रगट करता है, कि जब हम पापी ही थे तभी मसीह हमारे लिये मरा।

8. But God setteth out his loue towards vs, seeing that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for vs.

9. सो जब कि हम, अब उसके लोहूं के कारण धर्मी ठहरे, तो उसके द्वारा क्रोध से क्यों न बचेंगे?

9. Much more then, being now iustified by his blood, we shalbe saued from wrath through him.

10. क्योंकि बैरी होने की दशा में तो उसके पुत्रा की मृत्यु के द्वारा हमारा मेल परमेश्वर के साथ हुआ फिर मेल हो जाने पर उसके जीवन के कारण हम उद्धार क्यों न पाएंगे?

10. For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Sonne, much more being reconciled, we shalbe saued by his life,

11. और केवल यही नहीं, परन्तु हम अपने प्रभु यीशु मसीह के द्वारा जिस के द्वारा हमारा मेल हुआ है, परमेश्वर के विषय में घमण्ड भी करते हैं।।

11. And not onely so, but we also reioyce in God through our Lord Iesus Christ, by whom we haue nowe receiued the atonement.

12. इसलिये जैसा एक मनुष्य के द्वारा पाप जगत में आया, और पाप के द्वारा मृत्यु आई, और इस रीति से मृत्यु सब मनुष्यों में फैल गई, इसलिये कि सब ने पाप किया।

12. Wherefore, as by one man sinne entred into ye world, and death by sinne, and so death went ouer all men: in who all men haue sinned.

13. क्योंकि व्यवस्था के दिए जाने तक पाप जगत में तो था, परन्तु जहां व्यवस्था नहीं, वहां पाप गिना नहीं जाता।

13. For vnto the time of the Law was sinne in the worlde, but sinne is not imputed, while there is no lawe.

14. तौभी आदम से लेकर मूसा तक मृत्यु ने उन लोगों पर भी राज्य किया, जिन्हों ने उस आदम के अपराध की नाईं जो उस आनेवाले का चिन्ह है, पाप न किया।

14. But death reigned from Adam to Moses, euen ouer them also that sinned not after the like maner of that transgression of Adam, which was the figure of him that was to come.

15. पर जैसा अपराध की दशा है, वैसी अनुग्रह के बरदान की नहीं, क्योंकि जब एक मनुष्य के अपराध से बहुत लोग मरे, तो परमेश्वर का अनुग्रह और उसका जो दान एक मनुष्य के, अर्थात् यीशु मसीह के अनुग्रह से हुआ बहुतेरे लागों पर अवश्य ही अधिकाई से हुआ।

15. But yet the gift is not so, as is the offence: for if through the offence of that one, many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man Iesus Christ, hath abounded vnto many.

16. और जैसा एक मनुष्य के पाप करने का फल हुआ, वैसा ही दान की दशा नहीं, क्योंकि एक ही के कारण दण्ड की आज्ञा का फैसला हुअ, परन्तु बहुतेरे अपराधों से ऐसा बरदान उत्पन्न हुआ, कि लोग धर्मी ठहरे।

16. Neither is the gift so, as that which entred in by one that sinned: for the fault came of one offence vnto condemnation: but the gift is of many offences to iustification.

17. क्योंकि जब एक मनुष्य के अपराध के कराण मृत्यु ने उस एक ही के द्वारा राज्य किया, तो जो लोग अनुग्रह और धर्मरूमी बरदान बहुतायत से पाते हैं वे एक मनुष्य के, अर्थात् यीशु मसीह के द्वारा अवश्य ही अनन्त जीवन में राज्य करेंगे।

17. For if by the offence of one, death reigned through one, much more shall they which receiue that abundance of grace, and of that gift of that righteousnesse, reigne in life through one, that is, Iesus Christ.

18. इसलिये जैसा एक अपराध सब मनुष्यों के लिये दण्ड की आज्ञा का कारण हुआ, वेसा ही एक धर्म का काम भी सब मनुष्यों के लिये जीवन के निमित्त धर्मी ठहराए जाने का कारण हुआ।

18. Likewise then as by the offence of one, the fault came on all men to condemnation, so by the iustifying of one, the benefite abounded toward all men to the iustification of life.

19. क्योंकि जैसा एक मनुष्य के आज्ञा न मानने से बहुत लोग पापी ठहरे, वैसे ही एक मनुष्य के आज्ञा मानने से बहुत लोग धर्मी ठहरेंगे।
यशायाह 53:11

19. For as by one mans disobedience many were made sinners, so by that obedience of that one shall many also be made righteous.

20. और व्यवस्था बीच में आ गई, कि अपराध बहुत हो, परन्तु जहां पाप बहुत हुआ, वहां अनुग्रह उस से भी कहीं अधिक हुआ।

20. Moreouer the Law entred thereupon that the offence shoulde abound: neuerthelesse, where sinne abounded, there grace abounded much more:

21. कि जैसा पाप ने मृत्यु फैलाते हुए राज्य किया, वैसा ही हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह के द्वारा अनुग्रह भी अनन्त जीवन के लिये धर्मी ठहराते हुए राज्य करे।।

21. That as sinne had reigned vnto death, so might grace also reigne by righteousnesse vnto eternall life, through Iesus Christ our Lord.
