1. से जब हम विश्वास से धर्मी ठहरे, तो अपने प्रभु यीशु मसीह के द्वारा परमेश्वर के साथ मेल रखें।

1. Having, therefore, been declared righteous by faith, let us have, peace, towards God, through our Lord Jesus Christ,

2. जिस के द्वारा विश्वास के कारण उस अनुग्रह तक, जिस में हम बने हैं, हमारी पहुंच भी हुई, और परमेश्वर की महिमा की आशा पर घमण्ड करें।

2. Through whom also we have had, our introduction, by our faith into this favour wherein we stand; and let us boast in hope of the glory of God.

3. केवल यही नहीं, बरन हम क्लेशों में भी घमण्ड करें, यही जानकर कि क्लेश से धीरज।

3. And, not only so, but let us boast also in our tribulations; knowing that, our tribulation, worketh out endurance.

4. ओर धीरज से खरा निकलना, और खरे निकलने से आशा उत्पन्न होती है।

4. And, our endurance, a testing, and, our testing, hope,

5. और आशा से लज्जा नहीं होती, क्योंकि पवित्रा आत्मा जो हमें दिया गया है उसके द्वारा परमेश्वर का प्रेम हमारे मन में डाला गया है।

5. And, our hope, putteth not to shame. Because, the love of God, hath been poured out in our hearts, through the Holy Spirit that hath been given unto us:

6. क्योंकि जब हम निर्बल ही थे, तो मसीह ठीक समय पर भक्तिहीनों के लिये मरा।

6. Seeing that, Christ, we being weak as yet, seasonably, in behalf of such as were ungodly, died.

7. किसी धर्मी जन के लिये कोई मरे, यह तो दुर्लभ है, परन्तु क्या जाने किसी भले मनुष्य के लिये कोई मरने का भी हियाव करे।

7. For, scarcely in behalf of a righteous man, will one die, in behalf of the good man indeed, peradventure one even dareth to die;

8. परन्तु परमेश्वर हम पर अपने प्रेम की भलाई इस रीति से प्रगट करता है, कि जब हम पापी ही थे तभी मसीह हमारे लिये मरा।

8. But God commendeth his own love unto us in that we as yet being sinners, Christ in our behalf died.

9. सो जब कि हम, अब उसके लोहूं के कारण धर्मी ठहरे, तो उसके द्वारा क्रोध से क्यों न बचेंगे?

9. Much more, then, having now been declared righteous by his blood, shall we be saved through him from the anger.

10. क्योंकि बैरी होने की दशा में तो उसके पुत्रा की मृत्यु के द्वारा हमारा मेल परमेश्वर के साथ हुआ फिर मेल हो जाने पर उसके जीवन के कारण हम उद्धार क्यों न पाएंगे?

10. For, if being enemies we were reconciled unto God through the death of his Son, much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.

11. और केवल यही नहीं, परन्तु हम अपने प्रभु यीशु मसीह के द्वारा जिस के द्वारा हमारा मेल हुआ है, परमेश्वर के विषय में घमण्ड भी करते हैं।।

11. And, not only, so, but are even boasting in God, through our Lord Jesus Christ , through whom, now, the reconciliation we have received.

12. इसलिये जैसा एक मनुष्य के द्वारा पाप जगत में आया, और पाप के द्वारा मृत्यु आई, और इस रीति से मृत्यु सब मनुष्यों में फैल गई, इसलिये कि सब ने पाप किया।

12. For this cause, just as, through one man, sin into the world entered, and through sin, death, and, so, unto all men death passed through, for that all had sinned;

13. क्योंकि व्यवस्था के दिए जाने तक पाप जगत में तो था, परन्तु जहां व्यवस्था नहीं, वहां पाप गिना नहीं जाता।

13. For, until law, sin was in the world, although sin is not reckoned when there is no law,

14. तौभी आदम से लेकर मूसा तक मृत्यु ने उन लोगों पर भी राज्य किया, जिन्हों ने उस आदम के अपराध की नाईं जो उस आनेवाले का चिन्ह है, पाप न किया।

14. Yet still, death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over them who had not sinned after the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of the Coming One;

15. पर जैसा अपराध की दशा है, वैसी अनुग्रह के बरदान की नहीं, क्योंकि जब एक मनुष्य के अपराध से बहुत लोग मरे, तो परमेश्वर का अनुग्रह और उसका जो दान एक मनुष्य के, अर्थात् यीशु मसीह के अनुग्रह से हुआ बहुतेरे लागों पर अवश्य ही अधिकाई से हुआ।

15. But, not as the fault, so, also the decree of favour, for, if, by the fault of the one, the many died, much more, the favour of God and the free-gift in favour, by the one man Jesus Christ, unto the many superabounded;

16. और जैसा एक मनुष्य के पाप करने का फल हुआ, वैसा ही दान की दशा नहीं, क्योंकि एक ही के कारण दण्ड की आज्ञा का फैसला हुअ, परन्तु बहुतेरे अपराधों से ऐसा बरदान उत्पन्न हुआ, कि लोग धर्मी ठहरे।

16. And, not as through one that sinned, is that which is freely given, for, the sentence of judgment, indeed, was out of one fault into condemnation, whereas, the decree of favour, is out of many faults, into a recovery of righteousness.

17. क्योंकि जब एक मनुष्य के अपराध के कराण मृत्यु ने उस एक ही के द्वारा राज्य किया, तो जो लोग अनुग्रह और धर्मरूमी बरदान बहुतायत से पाते हैं वे एक मनुष्य के, अर्थात् यीशु मसीह के द्वारा अवश्य ही अनन्त जीवन में राज्य करेंगे।

17. For, if, by the fault of the one, death reigned through the one, much more, they who the superabundance of the favour and of the free-gift of the righteousness do receive, in life, shall reign through the one, Jesus Christ.

18. इसलिये जैसा एक अपराध सब मनुष्यों के लिये दण्ड की आज्ञा का कारण हुआ, वेसा ही एक धर्म का काम भी सब मनुष्यों के लिये जीवन के निमित्त धर्मी ठहराए जाने का कारण हुआ।

18. Hence then, as through one fault, the sentence was unto all men unto condemnation, so, also, through one recovery of righteousness, the decree of favour is unto all men for righteous acquittal unto life;

19. क्योंकि जैसा एक मनुष्य के आज्ञा न मानने से बहुत लोग पापी ठहरे, वैसे ही एक मनुष्य के आज्ञा मानने से बहुत लोग धर्मी ठहरेंगे।
यशायाह 53:11

19. For, just as, through the disobedience of the one man, sinners, the many were constituted, so, also, through the obedience of the one, righteous, the many shall be constituted

20. और व्यवस्था बीच में आ गई, कि अपराध बहुत हो, परन्तु जहां पाप बहुत हुआ, वहां अनुग्रह उस से भी कहीं अधिक हुआ।

20. Law, however, gained admission, in order that the fault might abound, but, where the sin abounded, the favour greatly superabounded:

21. कि जैसा पाप ने मृत्यु फैलाते हुए राज्य किया, वैसा ही हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह के द्वारा अनुग्रह भी अनन्त जीवन के लिये धर्मी ठहराते हुए राज्य करे।।

21. In order that just as sin reigned in death, so, also, favour, might reign through righteousness unto life age-abiding, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
