1. पौलुस की ओर से जो यीशु मसीह का दास है, और पे्ररित होने के लिये बुलाया गया, और परमेश्वर के उस सुसमाचार के लिये अलग किया गया है।

2. जिस की उस ने पहिले ही से अपने भविष्यद्वक्ताओं के द्वारा पवित्रा शास्त्रा में।

3. अपने पुत्रा हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह के विषय में प्रतिज्ञा की थी, जो शरीर के भाव से तो दाऊद के वंश से उत्पन्न हुआ।

4. और पवित्राता की आत्मा के भाव से मरे हुओं में से जी उठने के कारण सामर्थ के साथ परमेश्वर का पुत्रा ठहरा है।

4. and declared to be the sonne of God with power of the holy goost that sanctifieth sence ye tyme that Iesus Christ oure Lorde rose agayne from deeth

5. जिस के द्वारा हमें अनुग्रह और प्रेरिताई मिली; कि उसके नाम के कारण सब जातियों के लोग विश्वास करके उस की मानें।

6. जिन में से तुम भी यीशु मसीह के होने के लिये बुलाए गए हो।

7. उन सब के नाम जो रोम में परमेश्वर के प्यारे हैं और पवित्रा होने के लिये बुलाए गए हैं।। हमारे पिता परमेश्वर और प्रभु यीशु मसीह की ओर से तुम्हें अनुग्रह और शान्ति मिलती रहे।।

7. To all you of Rome beloved of God and saynctes by callinge. Grace be with you and peace from God oure father and from the Lorde Iesus Christ.

8. पहिले मैं तुम सब के लिये यीशु मसीह के द्वारा अपने परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद करता हूं, कि तुम्हारे विश्वास की चर्चा सारे जगत में हो रही है।

8. Fyrst verely I thanke my God thorow Iesus Christ for you all because youre fayth is publisshed through out all the worlde.

9. परमेश्वर जिस की सेवा मैं अपनी आत्मा से उसके पुत्रा के सुसमाचार के विषय में करता हूं, वही मेरा गवाह है; कि मैं तुम्हें किस प्रकार लगातार स्मरण करता रहता हूं।

9. For God is my witnes whom I serve with my sprete in the Gospell of his sonne that with out ceasinge I make mencion of you alwayes in my prayers

10. और नित्य अपनी प्रार्थनाओं में बिनती करता हूं, कि किसी रीति से अब भी तुम्हारे पास आने को मेरी यात्रा परमेश्वर की इच्छा से सुफल हो।

10. besechinge that at one tyme or another a prosperous iorney (by ye will of god) myght fortune me to come vnto you.

11. क्योंकि मै। तुम से मिलने की लालसा करता हूं, कि मैं तुम्हें कोई आत्मिक बरदान दूं जिस से तुम स्थिर हो जाओ।

11. For I longe to see you that I myght bestowe amoge you some spirituall gyfte to strength you with all:

12. अर्थात् यह, कि मैं तुम्हारे बीच में होकर तुम्हारे साथ उस विश्वास के द्वारा जो मुझ में, और तुम में है, शान्ति पाऊं।

12. that is that I myght have consolacion together with you through the commen fayth which bothe ye and I have.

13. और हे भाइयों, मैं नहीं चाहता, कि तुम इस से अनजान रहो, कि मैं ने बार बार तुम्हारे पास आना चाहा, कि जैसा मुझे और अन्यजातियों में फल मिला, वैसा ही तुम में भी मिले, परन्तु अब तक रूका रहा।

13. I wolde that ye shuld knowe brethre how that I have often tymes purposed to come vnto you (but have bene let hitherto) to have some frute amonge you as I have amonge other of ye Gentyls.

14. मैं यूनानियों और अन्यभाषियों का और बुद्धिमानों और निर्बुद्धियों का कर्जदान हूं।

14. For I am detter both to the Grekes and to them which are no Grekes vnto the learned and also vnto the vnlearned.

15. सो मैं तुम्हें भी जो रोम में रहते हो, सुसमाचार सुनाने को भरसक तैयार हूं।

15. Lykewyse as moche as in me is I am redy to preache the Gospell to you of Rome also.

16. क्योंकि मैं सुसमाचार से नहीं लजाता, इसलिये कि वह हर एक विश्वास करनेवाले के लिये, पहिले तो यहूदी, फिर यूनानी के लिये उद्धार के निमित्त परमेश्वर की सामर्थ है।

16. For I am not ashamed of the Gospell of Christ because it is ye power of God vnto salvacio to all yt beleve namely to the Iewe and also to ye getyle.

17. क्योंकि उस में परमेश्वर की धार्मिकता विश्वास से और विश्वास के लिये प्रगट होती है; जैसा लिखा है, कि विश्वास से धर्मी जन जीवित रहेगा।।

17. For by it ye rightewesnes which cometh of god is opened fro fayth to fayth. As it is written: The iust shall live by fayth.

18. परमेश्वर का क्रोध तो उन लोगों की सब अभक्ति और अधर्म पर स्वर्ग से प्रगट होता है, जो सत्य को अधर्म से दबाए रखते हैं।

18. For the wrath of God apereth from heven agaynst all vngodlynes and vnrightewesnes of me which withholde ye trueth in vnrightewesnes

19. इसलिये कि परमशॆवर के विषय में ज्ञान उन के मनों में प्रगट है, क्योंकि परमेश्वर ने उन पर प्रगट किया है।

19. seynge what maye be knowen of God that same is manifest amoge them.

20. क्योंकि उसके अनदेखे गुण, अर्थात् उस की सनातन सामर्थ, और परमेश्वरत्व जगत की सृष्टि के समय से उसके कामों के द्वारा देखने में आते है, यहां तक कि वे निरूत्तर हैं।

20. So that his invisible thinges: that is to saye his eternall power and godhed are vnderstonde and sene by the workes from the creacion of the worlde. So that they are without excuse

21. इस कारण कि परमेश्वर को जानने पर भी उन्हों ने परमेश्वर के योग्य बड़ाई और धन्यवाद न किया, परन्तु व्यर्थ विचार करने लगे, यहां तक कि उन का निर्बुद्धि मन अन्धेरा हो गया।

21. in as moche as when they knewe god they glorified him not as God nether were thakfull but wexed full of vanities in their imaginacions and their folisshe hertes were blynded.

22. वे अपने आप को बुद्धिमान जताकर मूर्ख बन गए।

22. When they couted them selves wyse they became foles and turned the glory of the immortall god vnto the similitude of the ymage of mortall man and of byrdes and foure foted beastes and of serpentes.

23. और अविनाशी परमेश्वर की महिमा को नाशमान मनुष्य, और पक्षियों, और चौपायों, और रेंगनेवाले जन्तुओं की मूरत की समानता में बदल डाला।।

24. इस कारण परमेश्वर ने उन्हें उन के मन के अभिलाषों के अुनसार अशुद्धता के लिये छोड़ दिया, कि वे आपस में अपने शरीरों का अनादर करें।

24. which tourned his truthe vnto a lye and worshipped and served the creatures more then ye maker which is blessed for ever. Ame.

25. क्योंकि उन्हों ने परमेश्वर की सच्चाई को बदलकर झूठ बना डाला, और सृष्टि की उपासना और सेवा की, न कि उस सृजनहार की जो सदा धन्य है। आमीन।।

25. For this cause god gave them vp vnto shamfull lustes. For even their wemen did chaunge the naturall vse vnto the vnnaturall.

26. इसलिये परमशॆवर ने उन्हें नीच कामनाओं के वश में छोड़ दिया; यहां तक कि उन की स्त्रियों ने भी स्वाभाविक व्यवहार को, उस से जो स्वभाव के विरूद्ध है, बदल डाला।

26. And lyke wyse also the men lefte the naturall vse of the woma and bret in their lustes one on another. And man with man wrought filthynes and receaved in them selves the rewarde of their erroure as it was accordinge.

27. वैसे ही पुरूष भी स्त्रियों के साथ स्वाभाविक व्यवहार छोड़कर आपस में कामातुर होकर जलने लगे, और पुरूषों ने पुरूषों के साथ निर्लज्ज काम करके अपने भ्रम का ठीक फल पाया।।

27. And as it semed not good vnto them to be aknowen of God even so God delivered them vp vnto a leawde mynd yt they shuld do tho thinges which were not comly

28. और जब उन्हों ने परमेश्वर को पहिचानना न चाहा, इसलिये परमेश्वर ने भी उन्हें उन के निकम्मे मन पर छोड़ दिया; कि वे अनुचित काम करें।

28. beinge full of all vnrighteous doinge of fornicacio wickednes coveteousnes maliciousnes full of envie morther debate disseyte evill codicioned whisperers

29. सो वे सब प्रकार के अधर्म, और दुष्टता, और लोभ, और बैरभाव, से भर गए; और डाह, और हत्या, और झगड़े, और छल, और ईर्षा से भरपूर हो गए, और चुगलखोर।

29. backbyters haters of God doers of wroge proude bosters bringers vp of evyll thinges disobedient to father and mother

30. बदनाम करनेवाले, परमेश्वर के देखने में घृणित, औरों का अनादर करनेवाले, अभिमानी, डींगमार, बुरी बुरी बातों के बनानेवाले, माता पिता की आज्ञा न माननेवाले।

30. with out vnderstondinge covenaunte breakers vnlovinge trucebreakers and merciles.

31. निर्बुद्धि, विश्वासघाती, मयारहित और निर्दय हो गए।

31. Which me though they knew the rightewesnes of God how that they which soche thinges commyt are worthy of deeth yet not only do the same but also have pleasure in them that do them.

32. वे तो परमेश्वर की यह विधि जानते हैं, कि ऐसे ऐसे काम करनेवाले मुत्यु के दण्ड के योग्य हैं, तौभी न केवल आप ही ऐसे काम करते हैं, बरन करनेवालों से प्रसन्न भी होते हैं।।

32. Therfore arte thou inexcusable o man whosoever thou be yt iudgest. For in ye same wherin thou iudgest another thou condemnest thy selfe. For thou that iudgest doest eve the same selfe thinges
