1. मैं ने फिर आंखें उठाईं, और क्या देखा कि दो पहाड़ों के बीच से चार रथ चले आते हैं; और वे पहाड़ पीतल के हैं।

1. Againe, I turned and lift vp mine eyes, and looked: and beholde, there came foure charets out from betweene two mountaines, and the mountaines were mountaines of brasse.

2. In the first charet were red horses, and in the second charet blacke horses,

3. And in the thirde charet white horses, and in the fourth charet, horses of diuers colours, and reddish.

4. तब मैं ने उस दूत से जो मुझ से बातें करता था, पूछा, हे मेरे प्रभु, ये क्या हैं?

4. Then I answered, and saide vnto the Angell that talked with mee, What are these, my Lord?

5. दूत ने मुझ से कहा, ये आकाश के चारों वायु हैं जो सारी पृथ्वी के प्रभु के पास उपस्थित रहते हैं, परन्तु अब निकल आए हैं।

5. And the Angell answered, and sayde vnto mee, These are the foure spirites of the heauen, which goe foorth from standing with the Lord of all the earth.

6. That with the blacke horse went forth into the land of the North, and the white went out after them, and they of diuers colours went forth toward the South countrey.

7. और बादामी घोड़ों ने निकलकर चाहा कि जाकर पृथ्वी पर फेरा करें। सो दूत ने कहा, जाकर पृथ्वी पर फेरा करो। तब वे पृथ्वी पर फेरा करने लगे।

7. And the reddish went out, and required to go, and passe through the world, and he sayde, Goe passe through the worlde. So they went thorowout the world.

8. तब उस ने मुझ से पुकारकर कहा, देख, वे जो उत्तर के देश की ओर जाते हैं, उन्हों ने वहां मेरे प्राण को ठण्डा किया हैं।।

8. Then cryed hee vpon me, and spake vnto me, saying, Beholde, these that goe towarde the North countrey, haue pacified my spirit in the North countrey.

9. फिर यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुंचा :

9. And the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,

10. बंधुआई के लोगों में से, हेल्दै, तोबिरयाह और यदायाह से कुछ ले और उसी दिन तू सपन्याह के पुत्रा योशियाह के घर में जा जिस से वे बाबुल से आकर उतरे हैं।

10. Take of them of ye captiuitie, euen of Heldai, and of Tobijah, and Iedaiah, which are come from Babel, and come thou the same day, and goe vnto the house of Ioshiah, the sonne of Zephaniah.

11. उनके हाथ से सोना चान्दी ले, और मुकुट बनाकर उन्हें यहोसादाक के पुत्रा यहोशू महायाजक के सिर पर रख;

11. Take euen siluer, and golde, and make crownes, and set them vpon the head of Iehoshua, the sonne of Iehozadak the hie Priest,

12. और उस से यह कह, सेनाओं का यहोवा यों कहता है, उस पुरूष को देख जिस का नाम शाख है, वह अपने ही स्थान से उगकर यहोवा के मन्दिर को बनाएगा।

12. And speake vnto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hostes, and sayth, Behold the man whose name is the Branch, and he shall growe vp out of his place, and he shall build the Temple of the Lord.

13. वही यहोवा के मन्दिर को बनाएगा, और महिमा पाएगा, और अपने सिंहासन पर विराजमान होकर प्रभुता करेगा। और उसके सिंहासन के पास एक याजक भी रहेगा, और दोनों के बीच मेल की सम्मति होगी।

13. Euen hee shall build the Temple of the Lord, and he shall beare the glory, and shall sit and rule vpon his throne, and he shalbe a Priest vpon his throne, and the counsell of peace shall be betweene them both.

14. और वे मुकुट हेलेम, तोबिरयाह, यदायाह, और सपन्याह के पुत्रा हेन को मिलें, और वे यहोवा के मन्दिर में स्मरण के लिये बने रहें।।

14. And the crownes shall be to Helem, and to Tobijah, and to Iedaiah, and to Hen the sonne of Zephaniah, for a memoriall in the Temple of the Lord.

15. फिर दूर दूर के लोग आ आकर यहोवा के मन्दिर बनाने में सहायता करेंगे, और तुम जानोगे कि सेनाओं के यहोवा ने मुझे तुम्हारे पास भेजा है। और यदि तुम मन लगाकर अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा की आज्ञाओं का पालन करो तो यह बात पूरी होगी।।

15. And they that are farre off, shall come and build in the Temple of the Lord, and ye shall know, that the Lord of hostes hath sent me vnto you. And this shall come to passe, if ye will obey the voyce of the Lord your God.
