1. फिर यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा

1. And Yahweh spake, unto Moses, saying:

2. कि इस्त्राएलियों से यह कह, कि यदि कोई मनुष्य उन कामों में से जिनको यहोवा ने मना किया है किसी काम को भूल से करके पापी हो जाए;

2. Speak thou unto the sons of Israel, saying When any person, shall sin by mistake, departing from any of the commandments of Yahweh, as to things which should not be done, and shall do any one of them,

3. और यदि अभिषिक्त याजक ऐसा पाप करे, जिस से प्रजा दोषी ठहरे, तो अपने पाप के कारण वह एक निर्दोष बछड़ा यहोवा को पापबलि करके चढ़ाए।

3. If, the anointed priest, shall sin, so as to bring guilt upon the people, then shall he bring near for his sin which he hath committed a choice young bullock without defect, unto Yahweh as a sin-bearer.

4. और वह उस बछड़े को मिलापवाले तम्बू के द्वार पर यहोवा के आगे ले जाकर उसके सिर पर हाथ रखे, और उस बछड़े को यहोवा के साम्हने बलि करे।

4. And he shall bring in the bullock unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, before Yahweh, and shall lean his hand upon the head of the bullock, and shall slay the bullock before Yahweh.

5. और अभिषिक्त याजक बछड़े के लोहू में से कुछ लेकर मिलापवाले तम्बू में ले जाए;

5. And the anointed priest shall take of the blood of the bullock, and bring it into the tent of meeting;

6. और याजक अपनी उंगली लोहू मे डुबो डुबोकर और उस में से कुछ लेकर पवित्रास्थान के बीचवाले पर्दे के आगे यहोवा के साम्हने सात बार छिड़के।

6. and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times, before Yahweh, in front of the veil of the sanctuary.

7. और याजक उस लोहू में से कुछ और लेकर सुगन्धित धूप की वेदी के सींगो पर जो मिलापवाले तम्बू में है यहोवा के साम्हने लगाए; फिर बछड़े के सब लोहू को वेदी के पाए पर जो मिलापवाले तम्बू के द्वार पर है उंडेल दे।

7. Then shall the priest put of the blood upon the horns of the altar of fragrant incense before Yahweh, which is in the tent of meeting, and, all the remainder of the blood of the bullock, shall he pour out at the base of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, which is at the entrance of the tent of meeting,

8. फिर वह पापबलि के बछड़े की सब चरबी को उस से अलग करे, अर्थात् जिस चरबी से अंतड़ियां ढपी रहती हैं, और जितनी चरबी उन में लिपटी रहती है,

8. And all the fat of the sin-bearing bullock, shall he heave up therefrom, the fat that covereth over the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards;

9. और दोनों गुर्दे और उनके ऊपर की चरबी जो कमर के पास रहती है, और गुर्दों समेत कलेजे के ऊपर की झिल्ली, इन सभों को वह ऐसे अलग करे,

9. and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them which is upon the loins, and as for the caul upon the liver, upon the kidneys, shall he remove it:

10. जैसे मेलबलिवाले चढ़ावे के बछड़े से अलग किए जाते हैं, और याजक इनको होमबलि की वेदी पर जलाए।

10. just as it is heaved up from the ox of the peace-offering, and the priest shall make of them a perfume on the altar of ascending-sacrifice,

11. और उस बछड़े की खाल, पांव, सिर, अंतड़ियां, गोबर,

11. But, as for the skin of the bullock and all its flesh with its head and with its legs, and its inwards, and its dung,

12. और सारा मांस, निदान समूचा बछड़ा छावनी से बाहर शुद्ध स्थान में, जहां राख डाली जाएगी, ले जाकर लकड़ी पर रखकर आग से जलाए; जहां राख डाली जाती है वह वहीं जलाया जाए।।

12. he shall take forth the entire bullock unto the outside of the camp, unto a clean place unto the outpoured heap of fat-ashes, and shall burn it up on wood in the fire, upon the outpoured heap of fat-ashes, shall it be burned up.

13. और इन बातों में से किसी भी बात के विषय में जो कोई पाप करे, याजक उसका प्रायश्चित्त करे, और तब वह पाप क्षमा किया जाएगा। और इस पापबलि का शेष अन्नबलि के शेष की नाई याजक का ठहरेगा।।

13. And, if the whole assembly of Israel, shall make a mistake, and a matter be hidden from the eyes of the convocation, and so they do something, whereby they depart from any of the commandments of Yahweh as to things which should not be done, and become guilty;

14. तो जब उनका किया हुआ पाप प्रगट हो जाए तब मण्डली एक बछड़े को पापबलि करके चढ़ाए। वह उसे मिलापवाले तम्बू के आगे ले जाए,

14. and the sin shall become known, which they have committed therein, then shall the convocation bring near a choice young bullock as a sin-bearer, yea they shall bring it in. before the tent of meeting;

15. और मण्डली के वृद्ध लोग अपने अपने हाथों को यहोवा के आगे बछड़े के सिर पर रखें, और वह बछड़ा यहोवा के साम्हने बलि किया जाए।

15. and the elders of the assembly shall lean their hands upon the head of the bullock before Yahweh, and shall slay the bullock, before Yahweh;

16. और अभिषिक्त याजक बछड़े के लोहू में से कुछ मिलापवाले तम्बू में ले जाए;

16. and the anointed priest shall bring in of the blood of the bullock, into the tent of meeting;

17. और याजक अपनी उंगली लोहू में डुबो डुबोकर उसे बीचवाले पर्दे के आगे सात बार यहोवा के साम्हने छिड़के।

17. and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and shall sprinkle of the blood seven times before Yahweh, upon the face of the veil;

18. और उसी लोहू में से वेदी के सींगों पर जो यहोवा के आगे मिलापवाले तम्बू में है लगाए; और बचा हुआ सब लोहू होमबलि की वेदी के पाए पर जो मिलापवाले तम्बू के द्वार पर है उंडेल दे।

18. and, some of the blood, shall he put upon the horns of the altar which is before Yahweh, which is in the tent of meeting; and, all the remainder of the blood, shall he pour out at the base of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, which is at the entrance of the tent of meeting;

19. और वह बछड़े की कुल चरबी निकालकर वेदी पर जलाए।

19. and, as for all the fat thereof, he shall heave up therefrom, and make a perfume at the altar.

20. और जैसे पापबलि के बछड़े से किया था वैसे ही इस से भी करे; इस भांति याजक इस्त्राएलियों के लिये प्रायश्चित्त करे, तब उनका पाप क्षमा किया जाएगा।

20. And he shall do to the bullock, as he did to the first sin-bearing bullock, so shall he do with this, and the priest shall put a propitiatory-covering over them, and it shall be forgiven them.

21. और वह बछड़े को छावनी से बाहर ले जाकर उसी भांति जलाए जैसे पहिले बछड़े को जलाया था; यह तो मण्डली के निमित्त पापबलि ठहरेगा।।

21. And he shall take forth the bullock unto the outside of the camp, and burn it up, just as he burned up the first bullock, the sin-bearer of the convocation, it is.

22. जब कोई प्रधान पुरूष पाप करके, अर्थात् अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा कि किसी आज्ञा के विरूद्ध भूल से कुछ करके दोषी हो जाए,

22. When a prince, shall sin, and shall do something, departing from any of the commandments of Yahweh his God as to things which should not be done, by mistake and shall become aware of his guilt;

23. और उसका पाप उस पर प्रगट हो जाए, तो वह एक निर्दोष बकरा बलिदान करने के लिये ले आए;

23. or his sin wherein he hath sinned he made known unto him, then shall he bring in. as his oblation a he-goat a male without defect;

24. और बकरे के सिर पर अपना हाथ धरे, और बकरे को उस स्थान पर बलि करे जहां होमबलि पशु यहोवा के आगे बलि किये जाते हैं; यह तो पापबलि ठहरेगा।

24. and shall lean his hand upon the head of the goat, and shall slay it in the place where they slay the ascending-sacrifice before Yahweh, a sin-bearer, it is.

25. और याजक अपनी उंगली से पापबलि पशु के लोहू में से कुछ लेकर होमबलि की वेदी के सींगों पर लगाए, और उसका लोहू होमबलि की वेदी के पाए पर उंडेल दे।

25. And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-bearer with his finger, and put upon the horns of the altar of ascending-sacrifice; and, the remainder of the blood thereof, shall he pour out at the base of the altar of ascending-sacrifice;

26. और वह उसकी कुल चरबी को मेलबलि की चरबी की नाई वेदी पर जलाए; और याजक उसके पाप के विषय में प्रायश्चित्त करे, तब वह क्षमा किया जाएगा।।

26. and with all the fat thereof, shall he make a perfume at the altar, as with the fat of the peace-offering, so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him because of his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

27. और यदि साधारण लोगों में से कोई अज्ञानता से पाप करे, अर्थात् कोई ऐसा काम जिसे यहोवा ने माना किया हो करके दोषी हो, और उसका वह पाप उस पर प्रगट हो जाए,

27. And, if, any person, shall sin, by mistake from among the people of the land, by his doing anything departing from any of the commandments of Yahweh, as to things which should not be done, and shall become aware of his guilt;

28. तो वह उस पाप के कारण एक निर्दोष बकरी बलिदान के लिये ले आए;

28. or his sin which he hath committed shall be made known unto, him, then shall he bring in, as his oblation, a kid of the goats a female, without defect, for his sin which he hath committed;

29. और वह अपना हाथ पापबलि पशु के सिर पर रखे, और होमबलि के स्थान पर पापबलि पशु का बलिदान करे।

29. and shall lean his hand upon the head of the sin-bearer, and shall slay the sin-bearer in the place of the ascending-sacrifice.

30. और याजक उसके लोहू में से अपनी उंगली से कुछ लेकर होमबलि की वेदी के सींगों पर लगाए, और उसके सब लोहू को उसी वेदी के पाए पर उंडेल दे।

30. Then shall the priest take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put upon the horns of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, and all the remaining bleed thereof, shall he pour out, at the base of the altar;

31. और वह उसकी सब चरबी को मेलबलिपशु की चरबी की नाईं अलग करे, तब याजक उसको वेदी पर यहोवा के निमित्त सुखदायक सुगन्ध के लिये जलाए; और इस प्रकार याजक उसके लिये प्रायश्चित्त करे, तब उसे क्षमा मिलेगी।।

31. and all the fat thereof, shall he remove as the fat from off the peace-offering was removed, and the priest shall make a perfume at the altar, for a satisfying odour unto Yahweh, so shall the priest put propitiatory-covering over him, and it shall be forgiven him.

32. और यदि वह पापबलि के लिये एक भेड़ी का बच्चा ले आए, तो वह निर्दोष मादा हो,

32. And, if a lamb, he bring in. as his oblation for a sin-bearer, a female without defect, shall he bring in;

33. और वह अपना हाथ पापबलि पशु के सिर पर रखे, और उसको पापबलि के लिये वहीं बलिदान करे जहां होमबलिपशु बलि किया जाता है।

33. and shall lean his hand upon the head of the sin-bearer, and shall slay it as a sin-bearer, in the place where they slay the ascending-sacrifice.

34. और याजक अपनी उंगली से पापबलि के लोहू में से कुछ लेकर होमबलि की वेदी के सींगों पर लगाए, और उसके सब लोहू को वेदी के पाए पर उंडेल दे।

34. Then shall the priest take of the blood of the sin-bearer with his finger, and put upon the horns of the altar of ascending-sacrifice, and all the remaining blood thereof, shall he pour out, at the base of the altar;

35. और वह उसकी सब चरबी को मेलबलिवाले भेड़ के बच्चे की चरबी की नाई अलग करे, और याजक उसे वेदी पर यहोवा के हवनों के ऊपर जलाए; और इस प्रकार याजक उसके पाप के लिये प्रायश्चित्त करे, और वह क्षमा किया जाएगा।।

35. and all the fat thereof, shall he remove as the fat of the lamb is removed, from the peace-offering, and the priest shall make a perfume therewith at the altar, upon the altar-flames of Yahweh, so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him on account of his sin which he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
