1. जब तुम चिट्ठी डालकर देश को बांटो, तब देश में से एक भाग पवित्रा जानकर यहोवा को अर्पण करना; उसकी लम्बाई पच्चीस हजार बांस की और चौड़ाई दस हजार बांस की हो; वह भाग अपने चारों ओर के सिवाने तक पवित्रा ठहरे।

1. Moreover, when you+ will divide by lot the land for inheritance, you+ will offer an oblation to Yahweh, a holy portion of the land; the length will be the length of five and twenty thousand [reeds], and the width will be twenty thousand: it will be holy in all its border round about.

2. उस में से पवित्रास्थान के लिये पांच सौ बांस लम्बी और पांच सौ बांस चौड़ी चौकोनी भूमि हो, और उसकी चारों ओर पचास पचास हाथ चौड़ी भूमि छूटी पड़ी रहे।

2. Of this there will be for the holy place five hundred [in length] by five hundred [in width], square round about; and fifty cubits for its suburbs round about.

3. उस पवित्रा भाग में तुम पच्चीस हाजार बांस लम्बी और दस हजार बांस चौड़ी भूमि को मापना, और उसी में पवित्रास्थान बनाना, जो परमपवित्रा ठहरे।

3. And of this measure you will measure a length of five and twenty thousand, and a width of ten thousand: and in it will be the sanctuary, which is most holy.

4. जो याजक पवित्रास्थन की सेवा टहल करें और यहोवा की सेवा टहल करने को समीप आएं, वह उन्हीं के लिये हो; वहां उनके घरों के लिये स्थान हो और पवित्रास्थान के लिये पवित्रा ठहरे।

4. It is a holy portion of the land; it will be for the priests, the ministers of the sanctuary, who come near to minister to Yahweh; and it will be a place for their houses, and a holy place for the sanctuary.

5. फिर पच्चीस हजार बांस लम्बा, और दस हजार बांस चौड़ा एक भाग, भवन की सेवा टहल करनेवाले लेवियों की बीस कोठरियों के लिये हो।

5. And five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in width, will be to the Levites, the ministers of the house, for a possession to themselves, [for] cities to live in.

6. फिर नगर के लिये, अर्पण किए हुए पवित्रा भाग के पास, तुम पांच हजार बांस चौड़ी और पच्चीस हाजार बांस लम्बी, विशेष भूमि ठहराना; वह इस्राएल के सारे घराने के लिये हो।

6. And you+ will appoint the possession of the city five thousand broad, and five and twenty thousand long, side by side with the oblation of the holy portion: it will be for the whole house of Israel.

7. और प्रधान का निज भाग पवित्रा अर्पण किए हुए भाग और नगर की विशेष भूमि की दोनों ओर अर्थात् दोनोे की पश्चिम और पूर्व दिशाओं में दोनों भागों के साम्हने हों; और उसकी लम्बाई पश्चिम से लेकर पूर्व तक उन दो भागों में से किसी भी एक के तुल्य हो।

7. And [whatever is] for the prince [will be] on the one side and on the other side of the holy oblation and of the possession of the city, in front of the holy oblation and in front of the possession of the city, on the west side westward, and on the east side eastward; and in length answerable to one of the portions, from the west border to the east border.

8. इस्राएल के देश में प्रधान की यही निज भूमि हो। और मेरे ठहराए हुए प्रधान मेरी प्रजा पर फिर अन्धेर न करें; परन्तु इस्राएल के घराने को उसके गोत्रों के अनुसार देश मिले।

8. In the land it will be to him for a possession in Israel: and my princes will no more oppress my people; but they will give the land to the house of Israel according to their tribes.

9. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, हे इस्राएल के प्रधनो ! बस करो, उपद्रव और उत्पात को दूर करो, और न्याय और धर्म के काम किया करो; मेरी प्रजा के लोगों को निकाल देना छोड़ दो, परमेश्वर यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

9. Thus says the Sovereign Yahweh: Let it suffice you+, O princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute justice and righteousness; take away your+ exactions from my people, says the Sovereign Yahweh.

10. तुम्हारे पास सच्चा तराजू, सच्चा एपा, और सच्चा बत रहे।

10. You+ will have just balances, and a just ephah, and a just bath.

11. एपा और बत दोनों एक ही नाप के हों, अर्थात् दोनों में होमेर का दसवां अंश समाए; दोनों की नाप होमेर के हिसाब से हो।

11. The ephah and the bath will be of one measure, that the bath may contain the tenth part of a homer, and the ephah the tenth part of a homer: its measure will be after the homer.

12. और शेकेल बीस गेरा का हो; और तुम्हारा माना बीस, पच्चीस, या पन्द्रह शेकेल का हो।

12. And the shekel will be twenty gerahs; twenty shekels, five and twenty shekels, fifteen shekels, will be your+ maneh.

13. तुम्हारी उठाई हुई भेंट यह हो, अर्थात् गेहूं के होमेर से एपा का छठवां अंश, और जव के होमेर में से एपा का छठवां अंश देना।

13. This is the oblation that you+ will offer: the sixth part of an ephah from a homer of wheat; and you+ will give the sixth part of an ephah from a homer of barley;

14. और तेल का नियत अंश कोर में से बत का दसवां अंश हो; कोर तो दस बत अर्थात् एक होमेर के तुल्य है, क्योंकि होमेर दस बत का होता है।

14. and the set portion of oil, of the bath of oil, the tenth part of a bath out of the cor, [which is] ten baths, even a homer (for ten baths are a homer);

15. और इस्राएल की उत्तम उत्तम चराइयों से दो दो सौ भेड़बकरियों में से एक भेड़ वा बकरी दी जाए। ये सब वस्तुएं अन्नबलि, होमबलि और मेलबलि के लिये दी जाएं जिस से उनके लिये प्रायश्चित्त किया जाए, परमेश्वर यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

15. and one lamb of the flock, out of two hundred, from the well-watered pastures of Israel; -for a meal-offering, and for a burnt-offering, and for peace-offerings, to make atonement for them, says the Sovereign Yahweh.

16. इस्राएल के प्रधान के लिये देश के सब लोग यह भेंट दें।

16. All the people of the land will give to this oblation for the prince in Israel.

17. पव, नये चांद के दिनों, विश्रामदिनों और इस्राएल के घराने के सब नियत समयों में होमबलि, अन्नबलि, और अर्ध देना प्रधान ही का काम हो। इस्राएल के घराने के लिये प्रायश्चित्त करने को वह पापबलि, अन्नबलि, होमबलि, और मेलबलि तैयार करे।

17. And it will be the prince's part to give the burnt-offerings, and the meal-offerings, and the drink-offerings, in the feasts, and on the new moons, and on the Sabbaths, in all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel: he will prepare the sin-offering, and the meal-offering, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offerings, to make atonement for the house of Israel.

18. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, पहिले महीने के पहले दिन को तू एक निदष बछड़ा लेकर पवित्रास्थान को पवित्रा करता।

18. Thus says the Sovereign Yahweh: In the first [month], in the first [day] of the month, you will take a young bull without blemish; and you will cleanse the sanctuary.

19. इस पापबलि के लोहू में से याजक कुछ लेकर भवन के चौखट के खम्भों, और वेदी की कुस के चारों कोनों, और भीतरी आंगन के फाटक के खम्भों पर लगाए।

19. And the priest will take of the blood of the sin-offering, and put it on the door-posts of the house, and on the four corners of the ledge of the altar, and on the posts of the gate of the inner court.

20. फिर महीने के सातवें दिन को सब भूल में पड़े हुओं और भोलों के लिये भी यों ही करना; इसी प्रकार से भवन के लिये प्रायश्चित्त करना।

20. And so you will do on the seventh [day] of the month for everyone who errs, and for him who is simple: so you+ will make atonement for the house.

21. पहिले महीने के चौदहवें दिन को तुम्हारा फसह हुआ करे, वह सात दिन का पर्व हो और उस में अखमीरी रोटी खई जाए।

21. In the first [month], in the fourteenth day of the month, you+ will have the Passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened bread will be eaten.

22. उस दिन प्रधान अपने और प्रजा के सब लोगों के निमित्त एक बछड़ा पापबलि के लिये तैयार करे।

22. And on that day the prince will prepare for himself and for all the people of the land a bull for a sin-offering.

23. और पर्व के सातों दिन वह यहोवा के लिये होमबलि तैयार करे, अर्थात् हर एक दिन सात सात निदष बछड़े और सात सात निदष मेढ़े और प्रति दिन एक एक बकरा पापबलि के लिये तैयार करे।

23. And the seven days of the feast he will prepare a burnt-offering to Yahweh, seven bullocks and seven rams without blemish daily the seven days; and a he-goat daily for a sin-offering.

24. और हर एक बछड़े और मेढ़े के साथ वह एपा भर अन्नबलि, और एपा पीछे हीन भर तेल तैयार करे।

24. And he will prepare a meal-offering, an ephah for a bull, and an ephah for a ram, and a hin of oil to an ephah.

25. सातवें महीने के पन्द्रहवें दिन से लेकर सात दिन तक अर्थात् पर्व के दिनों में वह पापबलि, होमबलि, अन्नबलि, और तेल इसी विधि के अनुसार किया करे।

25. In the seventh [month], in the fifteenth day of the month, in the feast, he will do the like the seven days; according to the sin-offering, according to the burnt-offering, and according to the meal-offering, and according to the oil.
