1. फिर हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, तू इस्राएल के पहाड़ों से भविष्यद्वाणी करके कह, हे इस्राएल के पहाड़ो, यहोवा का वचन सुनो।

1. Forsothe thou, sone of man, profesie on the hillis of Israel; and thou schalt seie, Hillis of Israel, here ye the word of the Lord.

2. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, शत्रु ने तो तुम्हारे विषय में कहा है, आहा ! प्राचीनकाल के ऊंचे स्थान अब हमारे अधिकार में आ गए।

2. The Lord God seith these thingis, For that that the enemy seide of you, Wel! euerlastyng hiynessis ben youun to vs in to eritage;

3. इस कारण भविष्यद्वाणी करके कह, परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता हे, लोगों ने जो तुम्हें उजाड़ा और चारों ओर से तुम्हें ऐसा निगल लिया कि तुम बची हुई जातियों का अधिकार हो जाओ, और लुतरे तुम्हारी चर्चा करते और साधारण लोग तुम्हारी निन्दा करते हैं;

3. therefore profesie thou, and seie, The Lord God seith these thingis, For that that ye ben maad desolat, and defoulid bi cumpas, and ben maad in to eritage to othere folkis, and ye stieden on the lippe of tunge, and on the schenschipe of puple;

4. इस कारण, हे इस्राएल के पहाड़ो, परमेश्वर यहोवा का वचन सुनो, परमेश्वर यहोवा तुम से यों कहता है, अर्थात् पहाड़ों और पहाड़ियों से और नालों और तराइयों से, और उजड़े हुए खण्डहरों और निर्जन नगरों से जो चारों ओर की बची हुई जातियों से लुट गए और उनके हंसने के कारण हो गए हैं;

4. therfor, hillis of Israel, here ye the word of the Lord God. The Lord God seith these thingis to the mounteyns, and litle hillis, to strondis, and to valeis, and to peecis of wallis left, and to citees forsakun, that ben maad bare of puplis, and ben scorned of othere folkis bi cumpas;

5. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, निश्चय मैं ने अपनी जलन की आग में बची हुई जातियों के और सारे एदोम के विरूद्ध में कहा है कि जिन्हों ने मेरे देश को अपने मन के पूरे आनन्द और अभिमान से अपने अधिकार में किया है कि वह पराया होकर लूटा जाए।

5. therfore the Lord God seith these thingis, For in the fier of my feruour Y spak of othere folkis, and of al Idumee, that yauen my lond in to eritage to hem silf with ioie `and al herte, and of entent, and castiden out it, to distrie it; therfor profesie thou on the erthe of Israel,

6. इस कारण इस्राएल के देश के विषय में भविष्यद्वाणी करके पहाड़ों, पहाड़ियों, नालों, और तराइयों से कह, परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, देखो, तुम ने जातियों की निन्दा सही है, इस कारण मैं अपनी बड़ी जलजलाहट से बोला हूँ।

6. and thou schalt seie to mounteyns, and litle hillis, to the hiynesse of hillis, and to valeis, The Lord God seith these thingis, For that that ye ben desolat, lo! Y spak in my feruour and in my strong veniaunce. For that that ye suffriden schenschipe of hethene men;

7. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, मैं ने यह शपथ खाई है कि निेसन्देह तुम्हारे चारों ओर जो जातियां हैं, उनको अपनी निन्दा आप ही सहनी पड़ेगी।

7. therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y reiside myn hond ayens hethene men, that ben in youre cumpas, that thei bere her schenschipe.

8. परन्तु, हे इस्राएल के पहाड़ो, तुम पर डालियां पनपेंगी और उनके फल मेरी प्रजा इस्राएल के लिये लगेंगे; क्योंकि उसका लौट आना निकट है।

8. Forsothe, ye hillis of Israel, brynge forth youre braunchis, and bringe ye fruit to my puple Israel; for it is niy that it come.

9. और देखो, मैं तुम्हारे पक्ष में हूँ, और तुम्हारी ओर कृपादृष्टि करूंगा, और तुम जोते- बोए जाओगे;

9. For lo! Y to you, and Y schal turne to you, and ye schulen be erid, and schulen take seed.

10. और मैं तुम पर बहुत मनुष्य अर्थात् इस्राएल के सारे घराने को बसाऊंगा; और नगर फिर बसाए और खण्डहर फिर बनाएं जाएंगे।

10. And in you I schal multiplie men, and al the hous of Israel; and citees schulen be enhabitid, and ruynouse thingis schulen be reparelid.

11. और मैं तुम पर मनुष्य और पशु दोनों को बहुत बढ़ाऊंगा; और वे बढ़ेंगे और फूलें- फलेंगे; और मैं तुम को प्राचीनकाल की नाई बसाऊंगा, और पहिले से अधिक तुम्हारी भलाई करूंगा। तब तुम जान लोगे कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।

11. And Y schal fille you with men and beestis, and thei schulen be multiplied, and schulen encreesse; and Y schal make you to dwelle as at the bigynnyng, and Y schal rewarde with more goodis than ye hadden at the bigynnyng; and ye schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.

12. और मैं ऐसा करूंगा कि मनुष्य अर्थत् मेरी प्रजा इस्राएल तुम पर चल- फिरेगी; और वे तुम्हारे स्वामी होंगे, और तुम उनका निज भाग होंगे, और वे फिर तुम्हारे कारण निर्वश न हो जाएंगे।

12. And Y schal brynge men on you, my puple Israel, and bi eritage thei schulen welde thee, and thou schalt be to hem in to eritage; and thou schalt no more leie to, that thou be with out hem.

13. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता हे, जो लोग तुम से कहा करते हैं, कि तू मनुष्यों का खानेवाला है, और अपने पर बसी हुई जाति को तिर्वश कर देता है,

13. The Lord God seith these thingis, For that that thei seien of you, Thou art a deuouresse of men, and stranglist thi folk;

14. सो फिर तू मनुष्यों को न खएगा, और न अपने पर बसी हुई जाति को निर्वश करेगा, परमेश्वर यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

14. therfor thou schalt no more ete men, and thou schalt no more sle thi folk, seith the Lord God.

15. और मैं फिर जाति- जाति के लोगों से तेरी निन्दा न सुनवाऊंगा, और तुझे जाति- जाति की ओर से फिर नामधराई न सहनी पड़ेगी, और तुझ पर बसी हुई जाति को तू फिर ठोकर न खिलाएगा, परमेश्वर यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

15. And Y schal no more make herd in thee the schenschipe of hethene men, and thou schalt no more bere the schenschipe of puplis, and thou schalt no more leese thi folk, seith the Lord God.

16. फिर यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुंचा,

16. And the word of the Lord was maad to me, and he seide, Thou,

17. हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, जब इस्राएल का घराना अपने देश में रहता था, तब अपनी चालचलन और कामों के द्वारा वे उसको अशुद्ध करते थे; उनकी चालचलन मुझे ऋतुमती की अशुद्धता सी जान पड़ती थी।

17. sone of man, the hous of Israel dwelliden in her lond, and thei defouliden it in her weies, and in her studies; bi the vnclennesse of a womman in rotun blood the weie of hem is maad bifor me.

18. सो जो हत्या उन्हों ने देश में की, और देश को अपनी मूरतों के द्वारा अशुद्ध किया, इसके कारण मैं ने उन पर अपनी जलजलाहट भड़काई।

18. And Y schedde out myn indignacioun on hem, for blood which thei schedden on the lond, and in her idols thei defouliden it.

19. और मैं ने उन्हें जाति- जाति में तितर- बितर किया, और वे देश देश में छितर गए; उनके चालचलन और कामों के अनुसार मैं ने उनको दण्ड दिया।

19. And Y scateride hem among hethene men, and thei weren wyndewid to londis; Y demede hem bi the weies and fyndyngis of hem.

20. परन्तु जब वे उन जातियों में पहुंचे जिन में वे पहुंचाए गए, तब उन्हों ने मेरे पवित्रा नाम को अपवित्रा ठहराया, क्योंकि लोग उनके विषय में यह कहने लगे, ये यहोवा की प्रजा हैं, पर्रनतु उसके देश से निकाले गए हैं।

20. And thei entriden to hethene men, to whiche thei entriden, and defouliden myn hooli name, whanne it was seid of hem, This is the puple of the Lord, and thei yeden out of the lond of hym.

21. परन्तु मैं ने अपने पवित्रा नाम की सुधि ली, जिसे इस्राएल के घराने ने उन जातियों के बीच अपवित्रा ठहराया था, जहां वे गए थे।

21. And Y sparide myn hooli name, which the hous of Israel hadde defoulid among hethene men, to whiche thei entriden.

22. इस कारण तू इस्राएल के घराने से कह, परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, हे इस्राएल के घराने, मैं इस को तुम्हारे निमित्त नहीं, परन्तु अपने पवित्रा नाम के निमित्त करता हूँ जिसे तुम ने उन जातियों में अपवित्रा ठहराया जहां तुम गए थे।

22. Therfor thou schalt seie to the hous of Israel, The Lord God seith these thingis, O! ye hous of Israel, not for you Y schal do, but for myn hooli name, which ye defouliden among hethene men, to whiche ye entriden.

23. और मैं अपने बड़े नाम को पवित्रा ठहराऊंगा, जो जातियों में अपवित्रा ठहराया गया, जिसे तुम ने उनके बीच अपवित्रा किया; और जब मैं उनकी दृष्टि में तुम्हारे बीच पवित्रा ठहरूंगा, तब वे जातियां जान लेगी कि मैं यहोवा हूँ, परमेश्वर यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

24. मैं तुम को जातियों में से ले लूंगा, और देशों में से इकट्ठा करूंगा; और तुम को तुम्हारे निज देश में पहुंचा दूंगा।

24. For Y schal take awei you fro hethene men, and Y schal gadere you fro alle londis, and Y schal brynge you in to youre lond.

25. मैं तुम पर शुद्ध जल छिड़कूंगा, और तुम शुद्ध हो जाओगे; और मैं तुम को तुम्हारी सारी अशुद्धता और मूरतों से शुद्ध करूंगा।

25. And Y schal schede out clene watir on you, and ye schulen be clensid fro alle youre filthis; and Y schal clense you fro alle youre idols.

26. मैं तुम को नया मन दूंगा, और तुम्हारे भीतर नई आत्मा उत्पन्न करूंगा; और तुम्हारी देह में से पत्थर का हृदय निकालकर तुम को मांस का हृदय दूंगा।

27. और मैं अपना आत्मा तुम्हारे भीतर देकर ऐसा करूंगा कि तुम मेरी विधियों पर चलोगे और मेरे नियमों को मानकर उनके अनुसार करोगे।

28. तुम उस देश में बसोगे जो मैं ने तुम्हारे पितरों को दिया था; और तुम मेरी प्रजा ठहरोगे, और मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर ठहरूंगा।

28. And ye schulen dwelle in the lond, whiche Y yaf to youre fadris; and ye schulen be in to a puple to me, and Y schal be in to a God to you.

29. और मैं तुम को तुम्हारी सारी अशुद्धता से छुड़ाऊंगा, और अन्न उपजने की आज्ञा देकर, उसे बढ़ाऊंगा और तुम्हारे बीच अकाल न डालूंगा।

29. And Y schal saue you fro alle youre filthis; and Y schal clepe wheete, and Y schal multiplie it, and Y schal not put hungur on you.

30. मैं वृक्षों के फल और खेत की उपज बढ़ाऊंगा, कि जातियों में अकाल के कारण फिर तुम्हारी नामधराई न होगी।

30. And Y schal multiplie the fruyt of tree, and the seedis of the feeld, that ye bere no more the schenschipe of hungur among hethene men.

31. तब तुम अपने बुरे चालचलन और अपने कामों को जो अच्छे नहीं थे, स्मरण करके अपने अधर्म और घिनौने कामों के कारण अपने आप से घृणा करोगे।

31. And ye schulen haue mynde on youre worste weies, and on studies not goode; and youre wickidnessis, and youre grete trespassis schulen displese you.

32. परमेश्वर यहोवा की यह वाणी है, तुम जान जो कि मैं इसको तुम्हारे निमित्त नहीं करता। हे इस्राएल के घराने अपने चालचलन के विषय में लज्जित हो और तुम्हारा मुख काला हो जाए।

32. Not for you Y schal do, seith the Lord God, be it knowun to you; O! the hous of Israel, be ye schent, and be ye aschamed on youre weies.

33. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, जब मैं तुम को तुम्हारे सब अधर्म के कामों से शुद्ध करूंगा, तब तुम्हारे नगरों को बसाऊंगा; और तुम्हारे खण्डहर फिर बनाए जाएंगे।

33. The Lord God seith these thingis, In the dai in which Y schal clense you fro alle youre wickidnessis, and Y schal make citees to be enhabitid, and Y schal reparele ruynouse thingis,

34. और तुम्हारा देश जो सब आने जानेवालों के साम्हने उजाड़ है, वह उजाड़ होने की सन्ती जोता बोया जाएगा।

34. and the desert lond schal be tilid, that was sum tyme desolat, bifor the iyen of ech weiegoere,

35. और लोग कहा करेंगे, यह देश जो उजाड़ था, सो एदेन की बारी सा हो गया, और जो नगर खण्डहर और उजाड़ हो गए और ढाए गए थे, सो गढ़वाले हुए, और बसाए गए हैं।

35. thei schulen seie, Thilke lond vntilid is maad as a gardyn of likyng, and citees forsakun and destitute and vndur myned saten maad strong; and hethene men,

36. तब जो जातियां तुम्हारे आस पास बची रहेंगी, सो जान लेंगी कि मुझ यहोवा ने ढाए हुए को फिर बनाया, और उजाड़ में पेड़ रोपे हैं, मुझ यहोवा ने यह कहा, और ऐसा ही करूंगा।

36. whiche euer ben left in youre cumpas, schulen wite, that Y the Lord haue bildid distried thingis, and Y haue plauntid vntilid thingis; Y the Lord spak, and Y dide.

37. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, इस्राएल के घराने में फिर मुझ से बिनती की जाएगी कि मैं उनके लिये यह करूं; अर्थात् मैं उन में मनुष्यों की गिनती झोड़- बकरियों की नाई बढ़ाऊं।

37. The Lord God seith these thingis, Yit in this thing the hous of Israel schulen fynde me, that Y do to hem; Y schal multiplie hem as the floc of men, as an hooli floc,

38. जैसे पवित्रा समयों की भेड़- बकरियां, अर्थात्नियत पव के समय यरूशलेम में की भेड़- बकरियां अनगिनित होती हैं वैसे ही जो नगर अब खण्ढहर हैं वे अनगिनित मनुष्यों के झुण्डों से भर जाएंगे। तब वे जान लेंगे कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।

38. as the floc of Jerusalem in the solempnytees therof, so the citees that ben forsakun, schulen be fulle of the flockis of men; and thei schulen wite, that Y am the Lord.
