1. फिर हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, तू इस्राएल के पहाड़ों से भविष्यद्वाणी करके कह, हे इस्राएल के पहाड़ो, यहोवा का वचन सुनो।

1. Thou son of man, prophesy(prophecie) upon the mountains of Israel, and speak: Hear the word of the LORD, O ye mountains of Israel:

2. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, शत्रु ने तो तुम्हारे विषय में कहा है, आहा ! प्राचीनकाल के ऊंचे स्थान अब हमारे अधिकार में आ गए।

2. Thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) Because your enemy hath said upon you: Aha, the high everlasting places are now become ours:

3. इस कारण भविष्यद्वाणी करके कह, परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता हे, लोगों ने जो तुम्हें उजाड़ा और चारों ओर से तुम्हें ऐसा निगल लिया कि तुम बची हुई जातियों का अधिकार हो जाओ, और लुतरे तुम्हारी चर्चा करते और साधारण लोग तुम्हारी निन्दा करते हैं;

3. prophesy(prophecy) therefore, and speak: thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) Seeing ye be wasted and trod down on every side, and become a possession unto the residue of the Gentiles, which have brought you into men's mouths and unto an evil name among the people:

4. इस कारण, हे इस्राएल के पहाड़ो, परमेश्वर यहोवा का वचन सुनो, परमेश्वर यहोवा तुम से यों कहता है, अर्थात् पहाड़ों और पहाड़ियों से और नालों और तराइयों से, और उजड़े हुए खण्डहरों और निर्जन नगरों से जो चारों ओर की बची हुई जातियों से लुट गए और उनके हंसने के कारण हो गए हैं;

4. Therefore, hear the word of the Lord GOD,(LORDE God) O ye mountains of Israel: Thus sayeth the Lord GOD(LORDE God) unto the mountains, and hills, valleys and dales, to the void wilderness and desolate cities, which are spoiled, and had in derision on every side, among the residue of the Heathen:

5. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, निश्चय मैं ने अपनी जलन की आग में बची हुई जातियों के और सारे एदोम के विरूद्ध में कहा है कि जिन्हों ने मेरे देश को अपने मन के पूरे आनन्द और अभिमान से अपने अधिकार में किया है कि वह पराया होकर लूटा जाए।

5. Yea even thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) In the fire of my jealousy have I taken a device, against the residue of the Gentiles, and against all Edom: which have taken in my land unto themselves for a possession: which also rejoiced from their whole heart with a despiteful stomach, to waste it, and to spoil it.

6. इस कारण इस्राएल के देश के विषय में भविष्यद्वाणी करके पहाड़ों, पहाड़ियों, नालों, और तराइयों से कह, परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, देखो, तुम ने जातियों की निन्दा सही है, इस कारण मैं अपनी बड़ी जलजलाहट से बोला हूँ।

6. Prophesy therefore upon the land of Israel, speak unto the mountains and hills, to valleys and dales, thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) Behold, this have I devised in my jealousy and terrible wrath: For so much as yea have suffered reproof of the Heathen,

7. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, मैं ने यह शपथ खाई है कि निेसन्देह तुम्हारे चारों ओर जो जातियां हैं, उनको अपनी निन्दा आप ही सहनी पड़ेगी।

7. therefore thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) I have sworn, that the Gentiles which lie about you, shall bear your confusion themselves.

8. परन्तु, हे इस्राएल के पहाड़ो, तुम पर डालियां पनपेंगी और उनके फल मेरी प्रजा इस्राएल के लिये लगेंगे; क्योंकि उसका लौट आना निकट है।

8. And as for you (O mountains of Israel) ye shall shoot out your branches, and bring forth your fruit to my people of Israel, for it is hard by, that it will come.

9. और देखो, मैं तुम्हारे पक्ष में हूँ, और तुम्हारी ओर कृपादृष्टि करूंगा, और तुम जोते- बोए जाओगे;

9. Behold, I come unto you, and unto you will I turn me, that ye may be tilled and sown.

10. और मैं तुम पर बहुत मनुष्य अर्थात् इस्राएल के सारे घराने को बसाऊंगा; और नगर फिर बसाए और खण्डहर फिर बनाएं जाएंगे।

10. I will send you much people, which shall be all of the house of Israel: the cities shall be inhabited, and the decayed places shall be repaired again.

11. और मैं तुम पर मनुष्य और पशु दोनों को बहुत बढ़ाऊंगा; और वे बढ़ेंगे और फूलें- फलेंगे; और मैं तुम को प्राचीनकाल की नाई बसाऊंगा, और पहिले से अधिक तुम्हारी भलाई करूंगा। तब तुम जान लोगे कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।

11. I will provide you with much people and cattle, which shall increase and bring fruit. I will restore you also to your old estate, and shew you more kindness than ever ye had before: whereby ye shall know, that I am the LORD.

12. और मैं ऐसा करूंगा कि मनुष्य अर्थत् मेरी प्रजा इस्राएल तुम पर चल- फिरेगी; और वे तुम्हारे स्वामी होंगे, और तुम उनका निज भाग होंगे, और वे फिर तुम्हारे कारण निर्वश न हो जाएंगे।

12. Yea people will I send unto you (O my folk of Israell) which shall have thee in possession, and thou shalt be their inheritance, so that thou shalt no more be without them.

13. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता हे, जो लोग तुम से कहा करते हैं, कि तू मनुष्यों का खानेवाला है, और अपने पर बसी हुई जाति को तिर्वश कर देता है,

13. Again, thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) For so much as they say unto you: thou art an eater up of men, and a waster of thy people:

14. सो फिर तू मनुष्यों को न खएगा, और न अपने पर बसी हुई जाति को निर्वश करेगा, परमेश्वर यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

14. therefore thou shalt eat no more men. neither destroy thy people any more, sayeth the Lord GOD.(LORDE God)

15. और मैं फिर जाति- जाति के लोगों से तेरी निन्दा न सुनवाऊंगा, और तुझे जाति- जाति की ओर से फिर नामधराई न सहनी पड़ेगी, और तुझ पर बसी हुई जाति को तू फिर ठोकर न खिलाएगा, परमेश्वर यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

15. And I will not suffer thee, for to hear thine own confusion among the Gentiles from henceforth. Thou shalt not bear the reproof of the nations, nor cast out thine own people any more, sayeth the Lord GOD.(LORDE God)

16. फिर यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुंचा,

16. Moreover, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:

17. हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, जब इस्राएल का घराना अपने देश में रहता था, तब अपनी चालचलन और कामों के द्वारा वे उसको अशुद्ध करते थे; उनकी चालचलन मुझे ऋतुमती की अशुद्धता सी जान पड़ती थी।

17. O thou son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt upon their own ground, they defiled themselves with their own ways and imaginations: so that in my sight their way was like the uncleanness of a menstruous woman.

18. सो जो हत्या उन्हों ने देश में की, और देश को अपनी मूरतों के द्वारा अशुद्ध किया, इसके कारण मैं ने उन पर अपनी जलजलाहट भड़काई।

18. Wherefore I poured my wrothfull displeasure upon them, because of the blood that they had shed in the land, and because of their Idols, wherewith they had defiled themselves.

19. और मैं ने उन्हें जाति- जाति में तितर- बितर किया, और वे देश देश में छितर गए; उनके चालचलन और कामों के अनुसार मैं ने उनको दण्ड दिया।

19. I scattered them also among the Heathen, so that they were strowed about in the lands. According to their ways and after their own inventions, so did I punish them.

20. परन्तु जब वे उन जातियों में पहुंचे जिन में वे पहुंचाए गए, तब उन्हों ने मेरे पवित्रा नाम को अपवित्रा ठहराया, क्योंकि लोग उनके विषय में यह कहने लगे, ये यहोवा की प्रजा हैं, पर्रनतु उसके देश से निकाले गए हैं।
रोमियों 2:24

20. Now when they were gone unto the Heathen, and come in among them they dishonoured my holy name: so that it was said of them: Are these the people of GOD, and must go out of their own land?

21. परन्तु मैं ने अपने पवित्रा नाम की सुधि ली, जिसे इस्राएल के घराने ने उन जातियों के बीच अपवित्रा ठहराया था, जहां वे गए थे।

21. Then spared I my holy name, which the house of Israel had dishonoured among the Gentiles, to whom they came.

22. इस कारण तू इस्राएल के घराने से कह, परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, हे इस्राएल के घराने, मैं इस को तुम्हारे निमित्त नहीं, परन्तु अपने पवित्रा नाम के निमित्त करता हूँ जिसे तुम ने उन जातियों में अपवित्रा ठहराया जहां तुम गए थे।

22. Therefore tell the house of Israell: Thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) I do not this for your sakes (O house of Israel) but for my holy name's sake, which ye dishonoured among the Heathen, when ye came to them.(Thus saith the LORD: I will sanctify my name that is defiled among the heathen. Which ye have defiled among them:)

23. और मैं अपने बड़े नाम को पवित्रा ठहराऊंगा, जो जातियों में अपवित्रा ठहराया गया, जिसे तुम ने उनके बीच अपवित्रा किया; और जब मैं उनकी दृष्टि में तुम्हारे बीच पवित्रा ठहरूंगा, तब वे जातियां जान लेगी कि मैं यहोवा हूँ, परमेश्वर यहोवा की यही वाणी है।
मत्ती 6:9

23. Therefore, I will hallow my great name again, which among the Gentiles is evil spoken of: for ye yourselves have dishonoured it among them. And the Gentiles shall know, that I am the LORD, when I am honoured in you before their eyes, sayeth the Lord GOD.(LORDE God)(that the heathen may know that I am the LORD (saith the Lorde Iehouah) when I am sanctified upon you in their sight.)

24. मैं तुम को जातियों में से ले लूंगा, और देशों में से इकट्ठा करूंगा; और तुम को तुम्हारे निज देश में पहुंचा दूंगा।

24. As for you, I will take you from among the Heathen, and gather you together out of all countries, and bring you again into your own land.(And I will take you from the heathen, and will gather you out from all lands and will bring you out of your own country.)

25. मैं तुम पर शुद्ध जल छिड़कूंगा, और तुम शुद्ध हो जाओगे; और मैं तुम को तुम्हारी सारी अशुद्धता और मूरतों से शुद्ध करूंगा।
इब्रानियों 10:22

25. Then will I pour clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: Yea from all your uncleanness and from all your Idols shall I cleanse you.(And I will pour pure water upon you, and ye shall be cleansed from all uncleanness, and from all your idols. I will cleanse you.)

26. मैं तुम को नया मन दूंगा, और तुम्हारे भीतर नई आत्मा उत्पन्न करूंगा; और तुम्हारी देह में से पत्थर का हृदय निकालकर तुम को मांस का हृदय दूंगा।
2 कुरिन्थियों 3:3

26. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put into you: As for that stoney heart, I will take it out of your body, and give you a fleshly heart.(And I will give you a new heart, and will put a new spirit in you. And will take away that stony heart out of your flesh, and give you a fleshly heart.)

27. और मैं अपना आत्मा तुम्हारे भीतर देकर ऐसा करूंगा कि तुम मेरी विधियों पर चलोगे और मेरे नियमों को मानकर उनके अनुसार करोगे।
1 थिस्सलुनीकियों 4:8

27. I will give my spirit among you, and cause you to walk in my commandments, to keep my laws, and to fulfill them.(And I will put my spirit in you, and will make that ye shall walk in mine ordinances and keep my laws and do them.)

28. तुम उस देश में बसोगे जो मैं ने तुम्हारे पितरों को दिया था; और तुम मेरी प्रजा ठहरोगे, और मैं तुम्हारा परमेश्वर ठहरूंगा।

28. And so ye shall dwell in the land, that I gave to your forefathers, and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.(And ye shall dwell in the land which I gave your fathers. And ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.)

29. और मैं तुम को तुम्हारी सारी अशुद्धता से छुड़ाऊंगा, और अन्न उपजने की आज्ञा देकर, उसे बढ़ाऊंगा और तुम्हारे बीच अकाल न डालूंगा।

29. I will help you out of all your uncleannesses. I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and will let you have no hunger.

30. मैं वृक्षों के फल और खेत की उपज बढ़ाऊंगा, कि जातियों में अकाल के कारण फिर तुम्हारी नामधराई न होगी।

30. I will multiply the fruits of the trees, and the increase of the field for you, so that ye shall bear no more reproof of hunger among the Heathen.

31. तब तुम अपने बुरे चालचलन और अपने कामों को जो अच्छे नहीं थे, स्मरण करके अपने अधर्म और घिनौने कामों के कारण अपने आप से घृणा करोगे।

31. Then shall ye remember your own wicked ways, and your imaginations, which were not good: so that ye shall take displeasure at your own selves, by reason of your sins and abominations.

32. परमेश्वर यहोवा की यह वाणी है, तुम जान जो कि मैं इसको तुम्हारे निमित्त नहीं करता। हे इस्राएल के घराने अपने चालचलन के विषय में लज्जित हो और तुम्हारा मुख काला हो जाए।

32. But I will not do this for your sakes (sayeth the Lord GOD)(LORDE God) be ye sure of it. Therefore, O ye house of Israel, be ashamed of your sins.

33. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, जब मैं तुम को तुम्हारे सब अधर्म के कामों से शुद्ध करूंगा, तब तुम्हारे नगरों को बसाऊंगा; और तुम्हारे खण्डहर फिर बनाए जाएंगे।

33. Moreover, thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) what time as I shall cleanse you from all your offenses, then will I make the cities to be occupied again, and will repair the places that be decayed.

34. और तुम्हारा देश जो सब आने जानेवालों के साम्हने उजाड़ है, वह उजाड़ होने की सन्ती जोता बोया जाएगा।

34. The desolate land shall be builded again, which afore time lay waste in the sight of all them that went by.

35. और लोग कहा करेंगे, यह देश जो उजाड़ था, सो एदेन की बारी सा हो गया, और जो नगर खण्डहर और उजाड़ हो गए और ढाए गए थे, सो गढ़वाले हुए, और बसाए गए हैं।

35. Then shall it be said: this waste land is become like a garden of pleasure, and the void, desolate and broken down cities, are now strong, and fenced again.

36. तब जो जातियां तुम्हारे आस पास बची रहेंगी, सो जान लेंगी कि मुझ यहोवा ने ढाए हुए को फिर बनाया, और उजाड़ में पेड़ रोपे हैं, मुझ यहोवा ने यह कहा, और ऐसा ही करूंगा।

36. Then the residue of the Heathen that lie round about you, shall know, that I am the LORD, which repair that was broken down, and plant again, that was made waste. Even I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it in deed.

37. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, इस्राएल के घराने में फिर मुझ से बिनती की जाएगी कि मैं उनके लिये यह करूं; अर्थात् मैं उन में मनुष्यों की गिनती झोड़- बकरियों की नाई बढ़ाऊं।

37. Thus sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) I will yet once be found again of the house of Israel, and do this for them: I shall increase them as a flock of men.

38. जैसे पवित्रा समयों की भेड़- बकरियां, अर्थात्नियत पव के समय यरूशलेम में की भेड़- बकरियां अनगिनित होती हैं वैसे ही जो नगर अब खण्ढहर हैं वे अनगिनित मनुष्यों के झुण्डों से भर जाएंगे। तब वे जान लेंगे कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।

38. Like as the holy flock and the flock of Jerusalem are in the high solempne feasts: so shall also the wild wasted cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know, that I am the LORD.
