1. ग्यारहवें वर्ष के तीसरे महीने के पहिले दिन को यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुंचा,

1. Morouer, it happened in the xi. yeare ye first daye of the thirde Moneth, that the worde of the LORDE came vnto me, sayenge:

2. हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, मिस्र के राजा फिरौन और उसकी भीड़ से कह, अपनी बड़ाई में तू िकिस के समान है।

2. Thou sonne of man, speake vnto Pharao the kynge of Egipte, ad to all his people: Whom art thou like in yi greatnesse?

3. देख, अश्शूर तो लबानोन का एक देवदार था जिसकी सुन्दर सुन्दर शाखें, घनी छाया देतीं और बड़ी ऊंची थीं, और उसकी फुनगी बादलों तक पहुंचती थी।

3. Beholde, Assur was like a Cedre tre vpo the mount of Libanus, with fayre brauches: so thicke, that he gaue shadowes, and shot out very hye. His toppe reached vnto the cloudes.

4. जल ने उसे बढ़ाया, उस गहिरे जल के कारण वह ऊंचा हुआ, जिस से नदियां उसके स्थान के चारों ओर बहती थीं, और उसकी नालियां निकलकर मैदान के सारे वृक्षों के पास पहुंचती थीं।

4. The waters made him greate, and the depe set him vp an hye. Roude aboute the rotes of him rane there floudes of water, he sent out his litle ryuers vnto all the trees of the felde.

5. इस कारण उसकी ऊंचाई मैदान के सब वृक्षों से अधिक हुई; उसकी टहनियां बहुत हुई, और उसकी शाखाएं लम्बी हो गई, क्योंकि जब वे निकलीं, तब उनको बहुत जल मिला।

5. Therfore was he hyer the all the trees of the felde, and thorow ye multitude of waters that he sent fro him, he optayned many and longe braunches.

6. उसकी टहनियों में आकाश के सब प्रकार के पक्षी बसेरा करते थे, और उसकी शाखाओं के नीचे मैदान के सब भांति के जीवजन्तु जन्मते थे; और उसकी छाया में सब बड़ी जातियां रहती थीं।

6. All foules of the ayre made their nestes in his brauches, vnder his bowes gedred all the beastes of ye felde, & vnder his shadow dwelt all people.

7. वह अपनी बड़ाई और अपनी डालियों की लम्बाई के कारण सुन्दर हुआ; क्योंकि उसकी जड़ बहुत जल के निकट थी।

7. Fayre and beutifull was he in his greatnesse, and in the length of his braunches, for his rote stode besyde greate waters:

8. परमेश्वर की बारी के देवदार भी उसको न छिपा सकते थे, सनौबर उसकी टहनियों के समान भी न थे, और न अम न वृक्ष उसकी शाखाओं के तुल्य थे; परमेश्वर की बारी का भी कोई वृक्ष सुन्दरता में उसके बराबर न था।

8. no Cedre tre might hyde him. In the pleasaut garden of God, there was no Fyrre tre like his brauches, the playne trees were not like ye bowes of him. All the trees in the garden off God might not be copared vnto him in his beuty:

9. मैं ने उसे डालियों की बहुतायत से सुन्दर बनाया था, यहां तक कि एदेन के सब वृक्ष जो परमेश्वर की बारी में थे, उस से डाह करते थे।

9. so fayre and goodly had I made him with the multitude of his braunches: In so moch, yt all the trees in the pleasaut garde of God, had envye at hi.

10. इस कारण परमेश्वर यहोवा ने यों कहा है, उसकी ऊंचाई जो बढ़ गई, और उसकी फुनगी जो बादलों तक पहुंची है, और अपनी ऊंचाई के कारण उसका मन जो फूल उठा है,

10. Therfore, thus saieth the LORDE God: For so moch as he hath lift vp himself so hie, & stretched his toppe in to the cloudes, & seinge his hert is proude in his highnesse:

11. इसलिये जातियों में जो सामथ है, मैं उसी के हाथ उसको कर दूंगा, और वह निश्चय उस से बुरा व्यवहार करेगा। उसकी दुष्टता के कारण मैं ने उसको निकाल दिया है।

11. I wil delyuer him in to ye hondes of ye mightiest amoge ye Heithe, which shall rote him out. Acordige to his wickednes will I cast him awaye,

12. परदेशी, जो जातियों में भयानक लोग हैं, वे उसको काटकर छोड़ देंगे, उसकी डालियां पहाड़ों पर, और सब तराइयों में गिराई जाएंगी, और उसकी शाखाएं देश के सब नालों में टूटी पड़ी रहेंगी, और जाति जाति के सब लोग उसकी छाया को छोड़कर चले जाएंगे।

12. the enemies shal destroye him, & the mighty men of the Heithen shall so scatre him, that his braunches shal lye vpon all mountaynes & in all valleys: his bowes shall be broken downe to the grounde thorow out the londe. Then all the people of the londe shal go from his shadowe, and forsake him.

13. उस गिरे हुए वृक्ष पर आकाश के सब पक्षी बसेरा करते हैं, और उसकी शाखाओं के ऊपर मैदान के सब जीवजन्तु चढ़ने पाते हैं।

13. When he is falle, all ye foules of ye ayre shal syt vpon him, and all wilde beestes of the felde shal go aboute amonge his brauches:

14. यह इसलिये हुआ है कि जल के पास के सब वृक्षों में से कोई अपनी ऊंचाई न बढ़ाए, न अपनी फुनगी को बादलों तक पहुंचाए, और उन में से जितने जल पाकर दृढ़ हो गए हैं वे ऊंचे होने के कारण सिर न उठाएं; क्योंकि वे भी सब के सब कबर में गड़े हुए मनुष्यों के समान मृत्यु के वश करके अधोलोक में डाल दिए जाएंगे।

14. so that from hence forth, no tre in the water shall attayne to his hyenesse, nor reach his toppe vnto the cloudes, nether shall eny tre off the water stonde so hye, as he hath done. For vnto death shall they all be delyuered vnder the earth, and go downe to ye graue, like other men.

15. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, जिस दिन वह अधोलोक में उतर गया, उस दिन मैं ने विलाप कराया और गहिरे समुद्र को ढांप दिया, और नदियों का बहुत जल रूक गया; और उसके कारण मैं ने लबानोन पर उदासी छा दी, और मैदान के सब वृक्ष मूर्छित हुए।

15. Morouer, thus saieth the LORDE God: In the daye when he goeth downe to the graue, I will cause a lamentacion to be made. I will couer the depe vpon him, I will staunch his floudes, and the greate waters shalbe restrayned. I shall cause Libanus to be soroufull for his sake, and all the trees off the felde shall be smytte.

16. जब मैं ने उसको कबर में गड़े हुओं के पास अधोलोक में फेंक दिया, तब उसके गिरने के शब्द से जाति जाति थरथरा गई, और एदेन के सब वृक्ष अर्थात् लबानोन के उत्तम उत्तम वृक्षों ने, जितने उस से जल पाते हैं, उन सभों ने अधोलोक में शान्ति पाई।

16. I wil make the Heithen shake at the sounde of his fall, when I cast him downe to hell, with them yt descende in to the pytte. All the trees of Eden, wt all the chosen and best trees of Libanus, yee and all they that are planted vpon the waters, shal mourne with him also in the lower habitacios:

17. वे भी उसके संग तलवार से मारे हुओं के पास अधोलोक में उतर गए; अर्थात् वे जो उसकी भुजा थे, और जाति जाति के बीच उसकी छाया में रहते थे।

17. for they shal go downe to hell wt him, vnto the that be slayne with the swearde, which dwelt afore vnder the shadow off his arme amoge the Heithe.

18. सो महिमा और बड़ाई के विषय में एदेन के वृक्षों में से तू किस के समान है? तू तो एदेन के और वृक्षों के साथ अधोलोक में उतारा जाएगा, और खतनाहीन लोगों के बीच तलवार से मारे हुओं के संग पड़ा रहेगा। फिरौन अपनी सारी भेड़- भाड़ समेत यों ही होगा, परमेश्वर यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

18. To whom shalt thou be lickened, that art so glorious & greate, amonge the trees off Eden? Yet art thou cast downe vnder ye earth (amonge the trees off Eden) where thou must lye amonge the vncircumcised, with them that be slayne wt the swearde. Euen thus is it with Pharao & all his people, saieth the LORDE God.
