1. यहोवा यों कहता है, न्याय का पालन करो, और धर्म के काम करो; क्योंकि मैं शीघ्र तुम्हारा उद्धार करूंगा, और मेरा धर्मी होना प्रगट होगा।

1. Thus sayeth the LORD: Keep equity, and do right, for my saving health shall come shortly, and my righteousness shall be opened.

2. क्या ही धन्य है वह मनुष्य जो ऐसा ही करता, और वह आदमी जो इस पर स्थिर रहता है, जो विश्रापदिन को पवित्रा मानता और अपवित्रा करने से बचा रहता है, और अपने हाथ को सब भांति की बुराई करने से रोकता है।

2. Blissed is the man that doth this, and the man's child which keepeth the same. He that taketh heed, that he unhallow not the Sabbath (that is) he that keepeth himself that he do no evil.

3. जो परदेशी यहोवा से मिल गए हैं, वे न कहें कि यहोवा हमें अपनी प्रजा से निश्चय अलग करेगा; और खोजे भी न कहें कि हम तो सूखे वृक्ष हैं।

3. Then shall not the stranger, which cleaveth to the LORD, say: Alas the LORD hath shut me clean out from his people. Neither shall the gelded man say: Lo, I am a dried tree.

4. क्योंकि जो खोजे मेरे विश्रामदिन को मानते और जिस बात से मैं प्रसन्न रहता हूं उसी को अपनाते और मेरी वाचा को पालते हैं, उनके विषय यहोवा यों कहता है

4. For thus sayeth the LORD, first unto the gelded that keepeth my Sabbath: Namely: that holdeth greatly of the thing that pleaseth me, and keepeth my covenant:

5. कि मैं अपने भवन और अपनी शहर- पनाह के भीतर उनको ऐसा नाम दूंगा जो पुत्रा- पुत्रियों से कहीं उत्तम होगा; मैं उनका नाम सदा बनाए रखूंगा और वह कभी न मिटाया जाएगा।

5. Unto them will I give in my household and within my walls, a better heritage and name than if they had been called sons and daughters. I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not perish.

6. परदेशी भी जो यहोवा के साथ इस इच्छा से मिले हुए हैं कि उसकी सेवा टहल करें और यहोवा के नाम से प्रीति रखें और उसके दास हो जाएं, जितने विश्रामदिन को अपवित्रा करने से बचे रहते और मेरी वाचा को पालते हैं,

6. Again, he sayeth unto the strangers that are disposed to stick to the LORD, to serve him, and to Love his name: That they shall be no bondman. And all they, which keep themselves, that they unhallow not the Sabbath, namely, that they fulfil my covenant:

7. उनको मैं अपने पवित्रा पर्वत पर ले आकर अपने प्रार्थना के भवन में आनन्दित करूंगा; उनके होमबलि और मेलबलि मेरी वेदी पर ग्रहण किए जाएंगे; क्योंकि मेरा भवन सब देशों के लोगों के लिये प्रार्थना का घर कहलाएगा।

7. Them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar. For my house shall be an house of prayer for all people.

8. Thus sayeth the Lord GOD(LORDE God) which gathereth together the scattered of Israel: I will bring yet another congregation to him.

9. हे मैदान के सब जन्तुओं, हे वन के सब पशुओं, खाने के लिये आओ।

9. All the beasts of the field, and all the beasts of the wood, shall come to devour him.

10. उसके पहरूए अन्धे हैं, वे सब के सब अज्ञानी हैं, वे सब के सब गूंगे कुत्ते हैं जो भूंक नहीं सकते; वे स्वप्न देखनेवाले और लेटे रहकर सोते रहना चाहते हैं।

10. For his watchmen are all blind, they have altogether no understanding, they are all dumb dogs, no being able to bark, they are sleepery: sluggish are they, and lie snorting:

11. वे मरभूखे कुत्ते हैं जो कभी तृप्त नहीं होते। वे चरवाहे हें जिन में समझ ही नहीं; उन सभों ने अपने अपने लाभ के लिये अपना अपना मार्ग लिया है।

11. they are shameless dogs, that be never satisfied. The shepherds also in like manner have no understanding, but every man turneth his own way, everyone after his own covetousness, with all his power.

12. वे कहते हैं कि आओ, हम दाखमधु ले आएं, आओ मदिरा पीकर छक जाएं; कल का दिन भी तो आज ही के समान अत्यन्त सुहावना होगा।।

12. Come (say they) I will fetch wine, so shall we fill ourselves, that we may be drunken. And do tomorrow, like as today, yea and much more.
