1. यहोवा यों कहता है, न्याय का पालन करो, और धर्म के काम करो; क्योंकि मैं शीघ्र तुम्हारा उद्धार करूंगा, और मेरा धर्मी होना प्रगट होगा।

1. Thus, saith Yahweh, Observe ye justice, And execute righteousness, For near, is My salvation, to come in, and My righteousness to be revealed.

2. क्या ही धन्य है वह मनुष्य जो ऐसा ही करता, और वह आदमी जो इस पर स्थिर रहता है, जो विश्रापदिन को पवित्रा मानता और अपवित्रा करने से बचा रहता है, और अपने हाथ को सब भांति की बुराई करने से रोकता है।

2. How happy the frail man, who doeth this! Yea the son of the earth-born who firmly graspeth it! Keeping the sabbath lest he profane it, and Keeping his own hand from doing any wrong.

3. जो परदेशी यहोवा से मिल गए हैं, वे न कहें कि यहोवा हमें अपनी प्रजा से निश्चय अलग करेगा; और खोजे भी न कहें कि हम तो सूखे वृक्ष हैं।

3. And let not the son of the foreigner, who hath joined himself unto Yahweh, speak, saying, Yahweh, will separate, me from his people, Neither let the eunuch, say, Lo! I, am a tree dried up!

4. क्योंकि जो खोजे मेरे विश्रामदिन को मानते और जिस बात से मैं प्रसन्न रहता हूं उसी को अपनाते और मेरी वाचा को पालते हैं, उनके विषय यहोवा यों कहता है

4. For thus, saith Yahweh Of the eunuchs, Who shall keep my sabbaths, And choose what I delight in, And lay firm hold on my covenant,

5. कि मैं अपने भवन और अपनी शहर- पनाह के भीतर उनको ऐसा नाम दूंगा जो पुत्रा- पुत्रियों से कहीं उत्तम होगा; मैं उनका नाम सदा बनाए रखूंगा और वह कभी न मिटाया जाएगा।

5. That I will give unto them In my house, And within my walls, A sign and a name, better than sons and daughters, A name age-abiding, will I give him, which shall not be cut off.

6. परदेशी भी जो यहोवा के साथ इस इच्छा से मिले हुए हैं कि उसकी सेवा टहल करें और यहोवा के नाम से प्रीति रखें और उसके दास हो जाएं, जितने विश्रामदिन को अपवित्रा करने से बचे रहते और मेरी वाचा को पालते हैं,

6. And, as for the sons of the foreigner Who have joined themselves unto Yahweh To wait upon him, and To love the name of Yahweh, To become his for servants, Every one who keepeth the sabbath, lest he profane it. And who, layeth firm hold on my covenant,

7. उनको मैं अपने पवित्रा पर्वत पर ले आकर अपने प्रार्थना के भवन में आनन्दित करूंगा; उनके होमबलि और मेलबलि मेरी वेदी पर ग्रहण किए जाएंगे; क्योंकि मेरा भवन सब देशों के लोगों के लिये प्रार्थना का घर कहलाएगा।

7. Surely I will bring them into my holy mountain And make them joyful in my house of prayer, Their ascending-offerings and their sacrifices, being accepted upon mine altar, For, my house, a house of prayer, shall be called, for all the peoples!

8. Declareth My Lord, Yahweh, Who is gathering the outcasts of Israel: Yet others, will I gather unto him Besides his own gathered ones.

9. हे मैदान के सब जन्तुओं, हे वन के सब पशुओं, खाने के लिये आओ।

9. All ye beasts of the field! come ye to devour, All ye beasts in the forest.

10. उसके पहरूए अन्धे हैं, वे सब के सब अज्ञानी हैं, वे सब के सब गूंगे कुत्ते हैं जो भूंक नहीं सकते; वे स्वप्न देखनेवाले और लेटे रहकर सोते रहना चाहते हैं।

10. His watchmen, are blind None of them, know, All of them, are dumb dogs, they cannot bark, Dreaming, sleeping, loving to slumber.

11. वे मरभूखे कुत्ते हैं जो कभी तृप्त नहीं होते। वे चरवाहे हें जिन में समझ ही नहीं; उन सभों ने अपने अपने लाभ के लिये अपना अपना मार्ग लिया है।

11. And, the dogs, are greedy they know not to be satisfied. Yea, they, are shepherds who know not to discern, All of them unto their own way, have turned, Every man to his unjust gain, on every hand:

12. वे कहते हैं कि आओ, हम दाखमधु ले आएं, आओ मदिरा पीकर छक जाएं; कल का दिन भी तो आज ही के समान अत्यन्त सुहावना होगा।।

12. Come ye! I will fetch wine Let us fill ourselves with strong drink, And like this day, shall, to-morrow be Great beyond measure!
