2. मूर्छा खाते समय मैं पृथ्वी की छोर से भी तुझे पुकारूंगा, जो चट्टान मेरे लिये ऊंची है, उस पर मुझ को ले चला;

2. I feel hopeless, and I cry out to you from a faraway land. Lead me to the mighty rock high above me.

3. क्योंकि तू मेरा शरणस्थान है, और शत्रु से बचने के लिये ऊंचा गढ़ है।।

3. You are a strong tower, where I am safe from my enemies.

4. मै तेरे तम्बू में युगानुयुग बना रहूंगा।

4. Let me live with you forever and find protection under your wings, my God.

5. क्योंकि हे परमेश्वर, तू ने मेरी मन्नतें सुनीं, जो तेरे नाम के डरवैये हैं, उनका सा भाग तू ने मुझे दिया है।।

5. You heard my promises, and you have blessed me, just as you bless everyone who worships you.

6. तू राजा की आयु को बहुत बढ़ाएगा; उसके वर्ष पीढ़ी पीढ़ी के बराबर होंगे।

6. Let the king have a long and healthy life.

7. वह परमेश्वर के सम्मुख सदा बना रहेगा; तू अपनी करूणा और सच्चाई को उसकी रक्षा के लिये ठहरा रख।

7. May he always rule with you, God, at his side; may your love and loyalty watch over him.

8. और मैं सर्वदा तेरे नाम का भजन गा गाकर अपनी मन्नतें हर दिन पूरी किया करूंगा।।
