1. हे परमेश्वर, मेरा चिल्लाना सुन, मेरी प्रार्थना की ओर घ्यान दे।

1. Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.

2. मूर्छा खाते समय मैं पृथ्वी की छोर से भी तुझे पुकारूंगा, जो चट्टान मेरे लिये ऊंची है, उस पर मुझ को ले चला;

2. From the end of the earth I will cry unto thee when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock [that] is higher than I.

3. क्योंकि तू मेरा शरणस्थान है, और शत्रु से बचने के लिये ऊंचा गढ़ है।।

3. For thou hast been a shelter for me [and] a strong tower from the enemy.

4. मै तेरे तम्बू में युगानुयुग बना रहूंगा।

4. I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever; I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah.

5. क्योंकि हे परमेश्वर, तू ने मेरी मन्नतें सुनीं, जो तेरे नाम के डरवैये हैं, उनका सा भाग तू ने मुझे दिया है।।

5. For thou, O God, hast heard my vows; thou hast given an inheritance to those that fear thy name.

6. तू राजा की आयु को बहुत बढ़ाएगा; उसके वर्ष पीढ़ी पीढ़ी के बराबर होंगे।

6. Thou wilt add days upon days unto the king's [life]; his years [shall be] from generation to generation.

7. वह परमेश्वर के सम्मुख सदा बना रहेगा; तू अपनी करूणा और सच्चाई को उसकी रक्षा के लिये ठहरा रख।

7. He shall abide before God for ever; He is aware of mercy and truth [which] preserve him.

8. और मैं सर्वदा तेरे नाम का भजन गा गाकर अपनी मन्नतें हर दिन पूरी किया करूंगा।।

8. So I will sing thy name for ever, performing my vows each day.:
