1. हे यहोवा मैं तुझे सराहूंगा, क्योंकि तू ने मुझे खींचकर निकाला है, और मेरे शत्रुओं को मुझ पर आनन्द करने नहीं दिया।

1. A Psalme or song of the dedication of the house of David. I will magnifie thee, O Lord: for thou hast exalted mee, and hast not made my foe to reioyce ouer me.

2. हे मेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा, मैं ने तेरी दोहाई दी और तू ने मुझे चंगा किया है।

2. O Lord my God, I cried vnto thee, and thou hast restored me.

3. हे यहोवा, तू ने मेरा प्राण अधोलोक में से निकाला है, तू ने मुझ को जीवित रखा और कब्र में पड़ने से बचाया है।।

3. O Lord, thou hast brought vp my soule out of the graue: thou hast reuiued me from them that goe downe into the pit.

4. हे यहोवा के भक्तों, उसका भजन गाओ, और जिस पवित्रा नाम से उसका स्मरण होता है, उसका धन्यवाद करो।

4. Sing praises vnto the Lord, ye his Saintes, and giue thankes before the remembrance of his Holinesse.

5. क्योंकि उसका क्रोध, तो क्षण भर का होता है, परन्तु उसकी प्रसन्नता जीवन भर की होती है। कदाचित् रात को रोना पड़े, परन्तु सबेरे आनन्द पहुंचेगा।।

5. For he endureth but a while in his anger: but in his fauour is life: weeping may abide at euening, but ioy commeth in the morning.

6. मैं ने तो चैन के समय कहा था, कि मैं कभी नहीं टलने का।

6. And in my prosperitie I sayde, I shall neuer be moued.

7. हे यहोवा अपनी प्रसन्नता से तू ने मेरे पहाड़ को दृढ़ और स्थिर किया था; जब तू ने अपना मुख फेर लिया तब मैं घबरा गया।।

7. For thou Lord of thy goodnes hadest made my mountaine to stande strong: but thou didest hide thy face, and I was troubled.

8. हे यहोवा मैं ने तुझी को पुकारा; और यहोवा से गिड़गिड़ाकर यह बिनती की, कि

8. Then cried I vnto thee, O Lord, and praied to my Lord.

9. जब मैं कब्र में चला जाऊंगा तब मेरे लोहू से क्या लाभ होगा? क्या मिट्टी तेरा धन्यवाद कर सकती है? क्या वह तेरी सच्चाई का प्रचार कर सकती है?

9. What profite is there in my blood, when I go downe to the pit? shall the dust giue thankes vnto thee? or shall it declare thy trueth?

10. हे यहोवा, सुन, मुझ पर अनुग्रह कर; हे यहोवा, तू मेरा सहायक हो।।

10. Heare, O Lord, and haue mercy vpon me: Lord, be thou mine helper.

11. तू ने मेरे लिये विलाप को नृत्य में बदल डाला, तू ने मेरा टाट उतरवाकर मेरी कमर में आनन्द का पटुका बान्धा है;

11. Thou hast turned my mourning into ioy: thou hast loosed my sacke and girded mee with gladnesse.

12. ताकि मेरी आत्मा तेरा भजन गाती रहे और कभी चुप न हो। हे मेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा, मैं सर्वदा तेरा धन्यवाद करता रहूंगा।।

12. Therefore shall my tongue praise thee and not cease: O Lord my God, I will giue thankes vnto thee for euer.
