1. बाबुल की नहरों के किनारे हम लोग बैठ गए, और सिरयोन को स्मरण करके रो पड़े!

6. यदि मैं तुझे स्मरण न रखूं, यदि मैं यरूशलेम को अपने सब आनन्द से श्रेष्ठ न जानूं, तो मेरी जीभ तालू से चिपट जाए!

6. May I never be able to sing again if I do not remember you, if I do not think of you as my greatest joy!

7. हे यहोवा, यरूशलेम के दिन को एदोमियों के विरूद्ध स्मरण कर, कि वे क्योंकर कहते थे, ढाओ! उसको नेव से ढा दो।
