1. बाबुल की नहरों के किनारे हम लोग बैठ गए, और सिरयोन को स्मरण करके रो पड़े!

6. यदि मैं तुझे स्मरण न रखूं, यदि मैं यरूशलेम को अपने सब आनन्द से श्रेष्ठ न जानूं, तो मेरी जीभ तालू से चिपट जाए!

6. May my tongue remain stuck to my palate if I do not keep you in mind, if I do not count Jerusalem the greatest of my joys.

7. हे यहोवा, यरूशलेम के दिन को एदोमियों के विरूद्ध स्मरण कर, कि वे क्योंकर कहते थे, ढाओ! उसको नेव से ढा दो।
