1. इस्राएल यह कहे, कि यदि हमारी ओर यहोवा न होता,

1. If the LORDE had not bene of oure syde (now maye Israel saye) Yf the LORDE had not bene of oure syde, whe me rose vp agaynst vs:

2. यदि यहोवा उस समय हमारी ओर न होता जब मनुष्यों ने हम पर चढ़ाई की,

2. They had swalowed vs vp quycke, when they were so wrothfully displeased at vs.

3. तो वे हम को उसी समय जीवित निगल जाते, जब उनका क्रोध हम पर भड़का था,

3. Yee the waters had drowned vs, the streame had gone ouer oure soule.

4. हम उसी समय जल में डूब जाते और धारा में बह जाते;

4. The depe waters of the proude had gone eue vnto oure soule.

5. उमड़ते जल में हम उसी समय ही बह जाते।।

5. But praysed be ye LORDE, which hath not geuen vs ouer for a pray vnto their teth.

6. धन्य है यहोवा, जिस ने हम को उनके दातों तले जाने न दिया!

6. Oure soule is escaped, euen as a byrde out of the snare of ye fouler:

7. हमार जीव पक्षी की नाईं चिड़ीमार के जाल से छूट गया; जाल फट गया, हम बच निकले!

7. ye snare is broke, and we are delyuered.

8. यहोवा जो आकाश और पृथ्वी का कर्त्ता है, हमारी सहायता उसी के नाम से होती है।

8. Oure helpe stodeth in the name of the LORDE, which hath made heauen and earth.
