1. यहोवा का धन्यवाद करो, उस से प्रार्थना करो, देश देश के लोगों में उसके कामों का प्रचार करो!

1. Give ye thanks to Jehovah -- call ye in His name, Make known among the peoples His acts.

2. उसके लिये गीत गाओ, उसके लिये भजन गाओ, उसके सब आश्चर्यकर्मों पर ध्यान करो!

2. Sing ye to Him -- sing praise to Him, Meditate ye on all His wonders.

3. उसके पवित्रा नाम की बढ़ाई करो; यहोवा के खोजियों का हृदय आनन्दित हो!

3. Boast yourselves in His Holy Name, The heart of those seeking Jehovah rejoiceth.

4. यहोवा और उसकी सामर्थ को खोजो, उसके दर्शन के लगातार खोजी बने रहो!

4. Seek ye Jehovah and His strength, Seek ye His face continually.

5. उसके किए हु आश्चर्यकर्म स्मरण करो, उसके चमत्कार और निर्णय स्मरण करो!

5. Remember His wonders that He did, His signs and the judgments of His mouth.

6. हे उसके दास इब्राहीम के वंश, हे याकूब की सन्तान, तुम तो उसके चुने हुए हो!

6. O seed of Abraham, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.

7. वही हमारा परमेश्वर यहोवा है; पृथ्वी भर में उसके निर्णय होते हैं।

7. He [is] Jehovah our God, In all the earth [are] His judgments.

8. वह अपनी वाचा को सदा स्मरण रखता आया है, यह वही वचन है जो उस ने हजार पीढ़ीयों के लिये ठहराया है;
लूका 1:72-73

8. He hath remembered to the age His covenant, The word He commanded to a thousand generations,

9. वही वाचा जो उस ने इब्राहीम के साथ बान्धी, और उसके विषय में उस ने इसहाक से शपथ खाई,

9. That He hath made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,

10. और उसी को उस ने याकूब के लिये विधि करके, और इस्राएल के लिये यह कहकर सदा की वाचा करके दृढ़ किया,

10. And doth establish it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel -- a covenant age-during,

11. कि मैं कनान देश को तुझी को दूंगा, वह बांट में तुम्हारा निज भाग होगा।।

11. Saying, 'To thee I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,'

12. उस समय तो वे गिनती में थोड़े थे, वरन बहुत ही थोड़े, और उस देश में परदेशी थे।

12. In their being few in number, But a few, and sojourners in it.

13. वे एक जाति से दूसरी जाति में, और एक राज्य से दूसरे राज्य में फिरते रहे;

13. And they go up and down, from nation unto nation, From a kingdom unto another people.

14. परन्तु उस ने किसी मनुष्य को उन पर अन्धेर करने न दिया; और वह राजाओं को उनके निमित्त यह धमकी देता था,

14. He hath not suffered any to oppress them And He reproveth for their sakes kings.

15. कि मेरे अभिषिक्तों को मत छुओं, और न मेरे नबियों की हानि करो!

15. 'Strike not against Mine anointed, And to My prophets do not evil.'

16. फिर उस ने उस देश में अकाल भेजा, और अन्न के सब आधार को दूर कर दिया।

16. And He calleth a famine on the land, The whole staff of bread He hath broken.

17. उस ने यूसुफ नाम एक पुरूष को उन से पहिले भेजा था, जो दास होने के लिये बेचा गया था।

17. He hath sent before them a man, For a servant hath Joseph been sold.

18. लोंगों ने उसके पैरों में बेड़ियां डालकर उसे दु:ख दिया; वह लोहे की सांकलों से जकड़ा गया;

18. They have afflicted with fetters his feet, Iron hath entered his soul,

19. जब तक कि उसकी बात पूरी न हुई तब तक यहोवा का वचन उसे कसौटी पर कसता रहा।

19. Till the time of the coming of His word The saying of Jehovah hath tried him.

20. तब राजा के दूत भेजकर उसे निकलवा लिया, और देश देश के लोगों के स्वामी ने उसके बन्धन खुलवाए;

20. The king hath sent, and looseth him, The ruler of the peoples, and draweth him out.

21. उस ने उसको अपने भवन का प्रधान और अपनी पूरी सम्पत्ति का अधिकारी ठहराया,

21. He hath made him lord of his house, And ruler over all his possessions.

22. कि वह उसके हाकिमों को अपनी इच्छा के अनुसार कैद करे और पुरनियों को ज्ञान सिखाए।।

22. To bind his chiefs at his pleasure, And his elders he maketh wise.

23. फिर इस्राएल मि में आया; और याकूब हाम के देश में परेदशी रहा।

23. And Israel cometh in to Egypt, And Jacob hath sojourned in the land of Ham.

24. तब उस ने अपनी प्रजा को गिनती में बहुत बढ़ाया, और उसके द्रोहियो से अधिक बलवन्त किया।

24. And He maketh His people very fruitful, And maketh it mightier than its adversaries.

25. उस ने मिस्त्रियों के मन को ऐसा फेर दिया, कि वे उसकी प्रजा से बैर रखने, और उसके दासों से छल करने लगे।।

25. He turned their heart to hate His people, To conspire against His servants.

26. उस ने अपने दास मूसा को, और अपने चुने हुए हारून को भेजा।

26. He hath sent Moses His servant, Aaron whom He had fixed on.

27. उन्हों ने उनके बीच उसकी ओर से भांति भांति के चिन्ह, और हाम के देश में चमत्कार दिखाए।

27. They have set among them the matters of His signs, And wonders in the land of Ham.

28. उस ने अन्धकार कर दिया, और अन्धियारा हो गया; और उन्हों ने उसकी बातों को न टाला।

28. He hath sent darkness, and it is dark, And they have not provoked His word.

29. उस ने मिस्त्रियों के जल को लोहू कर डाला, और मछलियों को मार डाला।

29. He hath turned their waters to blood, And putteth to death their fish.

30. मेंढक उनकी भूमि में वरन उनके राजा की कोठरियों में भी भर गए।

30. Teemed hath their land [with] frogs, In the inner chambers of their kings.

31. उस ने आज्ञा दी, तब डांस आ गए, और उनके सारे देश में कुटकियां आ गईं।

31. He hath said, and the beetle cometh, Lice into all their border.

32. उस ने उनके लिये जलवृष्टि की सन्ती ओले, और उनके देश में धधकती आग बरसाई।

32. He hath made their showers hail, A flaming fire [is] in their land.

33. और उस ने उनकी दाखलताओं और अंजीर के वृक्षों को वरन उनके देश के सब पेड़ों को तोड़ डाला।

33. And He smiteth their vine and their fig, And shivereth the trees of their border.

34. उस ने आज्ञा दी तब अनगिनत टिडि्डयां, और कीड़े आए,

34. He hath said, and the locust cometh, And the cankerworm -- innumerable,

35. और उन्हों ने उनके देश के सब अन्नादि को खा डाला; औश्र उनकी भूमि के सब फलों को चट कर गए।

35. And it consumeth every herb in their land, And it consumeth the fruit of their ground.

36. उस ने उनके देश के सब पहिलौठों को, उनके पौरूष के सब पहिले फल को नाश किया।।

36. And He smiteth every first-born in their land, The first-fruit of all their strength,

37. तब वह अपने गोत्रियों को सोना चांदी दिलाकर निकाल लाया, और उन में से कोई निर्बल न था।

37. And bringeth them out with silver and gold, And there is not in its tribes a feeble one.

38. उनके जाने से मिस्त्रि आनन्दित हुए, क्योंकि उनका डर उन में समा गया था।
प्रकाशितवाक्य 10:10-11

38. Rejoiced hath Egypt in their going forth, For their fear had fallen upon them.

39. उस ने छाया के लिये बादल फैलाया, और रात को प्रकाश देने के लिये आग प्रगट की।

39. He hath spread a cloud for a covering, And fire to enlighten the night.

40. उन्हों ने मांगा तब उस ने बटेरें पहुंचाई, और उनको स्वर्गीय भोजन से तृप्त किया।
यूहन्ना 6:31

40. They have asked, and He bringeth quails, And [with] bread of heaven satisfieth them.

41. उस ने चट्टान फाड़ी तब पानी बह निकला; और निर्जल भूमि पर नदी बहने लगी।

41. He hath opened a rock, and waters issue, They have gone on in dry places -- a river.

42. क्योंकि उस ने अपने पवित्रा वचन और अपने दास इब्राहीम को स्मरण किया।।

42. For He hath remembered His holy word, With Abraham His servant,

43. वह अपनी प्रजा को हर्षित करके और अपने चुने हुओं से जयजयकार करोके निकाल लाया।

43. And He bringeth forth His people with joy, With singing His chosen ones.

44. और उनको अन्यजातियों के देश दिए; और वे और लोगों के श्रम के फल के अधिकारी किए गए,

44. And He giveth to them the lands of nations, And the labour of peoples they possess,

45. कि वे उसकी विधियों को मानें, और उसकी व्यवस्था को पूरी करें। याह की स्तुति करो!

45. That they may observe His statutes, And His laws may keep. Praise ye Jehovah!
