1. अरयूब ने और भी अपनी गूढ़ बात उठाई और कहा,

1. Iob also proceaded and wete forth in his communicacion, sayege:

2. मैं ईश्वर के जीवन की शपथ खाता हूँ जिस ने मेरा न्याय बिगाड़ दिया, अर्थात् उस सर्वशक्तिमान के जीवन की जिस ने मेरा प्राण कड़ुआ कर दिया।

2. As truly as God lyueth (which hath taken awaye my power fro me) & the Allmightie, that hath vexed my mynde:

3. क्योंकि अब तक मेरी सांस बराबर आती है, और ईश्वर का आत्मा मेरे नथुनों में बना है।

3. My lippes shall talke of no vanite, and my tonge shal speake no disceate,

4. मैं यह कहता हूँ कि मेरे मुंह से कोई कुटिल बात न निकलेगी, और न मैं कपट की बातें बोलूंगा।

4. whyle my breth is in me, and as longe as the wynde (that God hath geuen me) is in my nostrels.

5. ईश्वर न करे कि मैं तुम लोगों को सच्चा ठहराऊं, जब तक मेरा प्राण न छूटे तब तक मैं अपनी खराई से न हटूंगा।

5. God forbydde, that I shulde graunte youre cause to be right. As for me, vntill myne ende come wil I neuer go fro myne innocency.

6. मैं अपना धर्म पकड़े हुए हूँ और उसको हाथ से जाने न दूंगा; क्योंकि मेरा मन जीवन भर मुझे दोषी नहीं ठहराएगा।

6. My rightuous dealynge wil I kepe fast, & not forsake it: For my conscience reproueth me not in all my conuersacion.

7. मेरा शत्रु दुष्टों के समान, और जो मेरे विरूद्ध उठता है वह कुटिलों के तुल्य ठहरे।

7. Therfore myne enemy shalbe founde as the vngodly, & he yt taketh parte agaynst me, as the vnrightuous.

8. जब ईश्वर भक्तिहीन मनुष्य का प्राण ले ले, तब यद्यपि उस ने धन भी प्राप्त किया हो, तौभी उसकी क्या आशा रहेगी?

8. What hope hath ye Ypocrite, though he haue greate good, and though God geue him riches after his hertes desyre?

9. जब वह संकट में पड़े, तब क्या ईश्वर उसकी दोहाई सुनेगा?

9. Doth God heare him the sooner, whe he crieth vnto him in his necessite?

10. क्या वह सर्वशक्तिमान में सुख पा सकेगा, और हर समय ईश्वर को पुकार सकेगा?

10. Hath he soch pleasure & delyte in the Allmightie, that he darre allwaye call vpon God?

11. मैं तुम्हें ईश्वर के काम के विषय शिक्षा दूंगा, और सर्वशक्तिमान की बात मैं न छिपाऊंगा

11. I wil teach you in the name of God, & the thinge that I haue of ye Allmightie, wil I not kepe from you.

12. देखो, तुम लोग सब के सब उसे स्वयं देख चुके हो, फिर तुम व्यर्थ विचार क्यों पकड़े रहते हो?

12. Beholde, ye stonde in yor owne conceate, as though ye knew all thinges. Wherfore then do ye go aboute wt soch vayne wordes,

13. दुष्ट पनुष्य का भाग ईश्वर की ओर से यह है, और बलात्कारियों का अंश जो वे सर्वशक्तिमान के हाथ से पाते हैं, वह यह है, कि

13. sayege: This is the porcion that the wicked shall haue of God, & the heretage that Tyrauntes shal receaue of ye Allmightie.

14. चाहे उसके लड़केबाले गिनती में बढ़ भी जाएं, तौभी तलवार ही के लिये बढ़ेंगे, और उसकी सन्तान पेट भर रोटी न खाने पाएगी।

14. Yf he get many childre, they shal perish wt the swearde, & his posterite shall haue scarcenesse of bred.

15. उसके जो लोग बच जाएं वे मरकर क़ब्र को पहुंचेंगे; और उसके यहां की विधवाएं न रोएंगी।

15. Loke whom he leaueth behinde him, they shal dye & be buried, & no man shall haue pite of his wyddowes.

16. चाहे वह रूपया धूलि के समान बटोर रखे और वस्त्रा मिट्टी के किनकों के तुल्य अनगिनित तैयार कराए,

16. Though he haue as moch money as the dust of the earth, & raymet as ready as the claye,

17. वह उन्हें तैयार कराए तो सही, परन्तु धम उन्हें पहिन लेगा, और उसका रूपया निदष लोग आपस में बांटेंगे।

17. he maye well prepare it: but the godly shal put it vpon him, and the innocet shal deale out the money.

18. उस ने अपना घर कीड़े का सा बनाया, और खेत के रखवाले को झोपड़ी की नाई बनाया।

18. His house shal endure as the moth, & as a bothe that the watch man maketh.

19. वह धनी होकर लेट जाए परन्तु वह गाड़ा न जाएगा; आंख खोलते ही वह जाता रहेगा।

19. When the rich man dyeth, he carieth nothinge with him: he is gone in ye twincklynge of an eye.

20. भय की धाराएं उसे बहा ले जाएंगी, रात को बवणडर उसको उड़ा ले जाएगा।

20. Destruccion taketh holde vpo him as a water floude, & ye tepest stealeth him awaye in the night season.

21. पुरवाई उसे ऐसा उड़ा ले जाएगी, और वह जाता रहेगा और उसको उसके स्थान से उड़ा ले जाएगी।

21. A vehement wynde carieth him hence, & departeth: a storme plucketh him out of his place.

22. क्योंकि ईश्वर उस पर विपत्तियां बिना तरस खाए डाल देगा, उसके हाथ से वह भाग जाने चाहेगा। लोग उस पर ताली बजाएंगे,

22. It ru?sheth in vpon him, and spareth him not, he maye not escape from the power therof.

23. और उस पर ऐसी सुसकारियां भरेंगे कि वह अपने स्थान पर न रह सकेगा।

23. Than clappe me their hodes at him, yee and ieast of him, whe they loke vpon his place.
