1. सुनो, मैं यह सब कुछ अपनी आंख से देख चुका, और अपने कान से सुन चुका, और समझ भी चुका हूँ।

1. Lo, all this haue I sene with myne eye, herde with myne eare, & vnderstonde it.

2. जो कुछ तुम जानते हो वह मैं भी जानता हूँ; मैं तुम लोगों से कुछ कम नहीं हूँ।

2. Loke what ye knowe, that same do I knowe also, nether am I inferior vnto you.

3. मैं तो सर्वशक्तिमान से बातें करूंगा, और मेरी अभिलाषा ईश्वर से वादविवाद करने की है।

3. Neuerthelesse I am purposed to talke with the Allmightie, and my desyre is to comon with God.

4. परन्तु तुम लोग झूठी बात के गढ़नेवाले हो; तुम सबके सब निकम्मे वैद्य हो।

4. As for you, ye are workmasters of lyes: and vnprofitable Phisicians alltogether.

5. भला होता, कि तुम बिलकुल चुप रहते, और इस से तुम बुध्दिमान ठहरते।

5. Wolde God ye kepte youre tonge, that ye might be taken for wyse men.

6. मेरा विवाद सुनो, और मेरी बहस की बातों पर कान लगाओ।

6. Therfore heare my wordes, and pondre the sentence of my lippes.

7. क्या तुम ईश्वर के निमित्त टेढ़ी बातें कहोगे, और उसके पक्ष में कपट से बोलोगे?

7. Will ye make answere for God with lyes, and mateyne him with disceate?

8. क्या तुम उसका पक्षपात करोगे? और ईश्वर के लिये मुक मा चलाओगे।

8. Wil ye accepte ye personne of God, and intreate for him?

9. क्या यह भला होगा, कि वह तुम को जांचे? क्या जैसा कोई मनुष्य को धोखा दे, वैसा ही तुम क्या उसको भी धेखा दोगे?

9. Shal that helpe you, when he calleth you to rekenynge? Thynke ye to begyle him, as a man is begyled?

10. जो तुम छिपकर पक्षपात करो, तो वह निश्चय तुम को डांटेगा।

10. Punysh you shall he and reproue you, yf ye do secretly accepte eny personne.

11. क्या तुम उसके माहात्म्य से भय न खाओगे? क्या उसका डर तुम्हारे मन में न समाएगा?

11. Shall he not make you afrayed, when he sheweth himself? Shal not his terrible feare fall vpo you?

12. तुम्हारे स्मरणयोग्य नीतिवचन राख के समान हैं; तुम्हारे कोट मिट्टी ही के ठहरे हैंे

12. youre remembraunce shalbe like the dust, & youre pryde shalbe turned to claye.

13. मुझ से बात करना छोड़ो, कि मैं भी कुछ कहने पाऊं; फिर मुझ पर जो चाहे वह आ पड़े।

13. Holde youre tonges now, and let me speake, for there is some thinge come in to my mynde.

14. मैं क्यों अपना मांस अपने दांतों से चबाऊं? और क्यों अपना प्राण हथेली पर रखूं?

14. Wherfore do I beare my flesh in my teth, and my soule in myne hondes?

15. वह मुझे घात करेगा, मुझे कुछ आशा नहीं; तौभी मैं अपनी चाल चलन का पक्ष लूंगा।

15. Lo, there is nether coforte ner hope for me, yf he wil slaye me. But yf I shewe and reproue myne owne wayes in his sight,

16. और यह भी मेरे बचाव का कारण होगा, कि भक्तिहीन जन उसके साम्हने नहीं जा सकता।

16. he is euen the same, that maketh me whole: and why? there maye no Ypocrite come before him,

17. चित्त लगाकर मेरी बात सुनो, और मेरी बिनती तुम्हारे कान में पड़े।

17. Heare my wordes, and pondre my sayenges with youre eares.

18. देखो, मैं ने अपने बहस की पूरी तैयारी की है; मुझे निश्चय है कि मैं निदष ठहरूंगा।

18. Beholde, though sentence were geuen vpon me, I am sure to be knowne for vngilty.

19. कौन है जो मुझ से मुक मा लड़ सकेगा? ऐसा कोई पाया जाए, तो मैं चुप होकर प्राण छोडूंगा।

19. What is he, that will go to lawe with me? For yf I holde my tonge, I shal dye.

20. दो ही काम मुझ से न कर, तब मैं तुझ से नहीं छिपूंगो

20. Neuerthelesse graunte me ij. thinges, and then will I not hyde my self from the.

21. अपनी ताड़ना मुझ से दूर कर ले, और अपने भय से मुझे भयभीत न कर।

21. Withdrawe thine honde fro me, & let not the fearfull drede of the make me afrayed.

22. तब तेरे बुलाने पर मैं बोलूंगा; नहीं तो मैं प्रश्न करूंगा, और तू मुझे उत्तर दे।

22. And then sende for me to the lawe, yt I maye answere for my self: or els, let me speake, and geue thou the answere.

23. मुझ से कितने अधर्म के काम और पाप हुए हैं? मेरे अपराध और पाप मुझे जता दे।

23. How greate are my my?dedes & synnes? Let me knowe my trasgressions & offences.

24. तू किस कारण अपना मुंह फेर लेता है, और मुझे अपना शत्रु गिनता है?

24. Wherfore hydest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine enemye?

25. क्या तू उड़ते हुए पत्ते को भी कंपाएगा? और सूखे डंठल के पीछे पड़ेगा?

25. Wilt thou be so cruell & extreme vnto a flyenge leaf, and folowe vpon drye stubble?

26. तू मेरे लिये कठिन दु:खों की आज्ञा देता है, और मेरी जवानी के अधर्म का फल मुझे भुगता देता है।

26. that thou layest so sharply to my charge, and wilt vtterly vndoo me, for ye synnes of my yougth?

27. और मेरे पांवों को काठ में ठोंकता, और मेरी सारी चाल चलन देखता रहता है; और मेरे पांवों की चारों ओर सीमा बान्ध लेता है।

27. Thou hast put my fote in the stockes: thou lokest narowly vnto all my pathes, & marckest the steppes of my fete:

28. और मैं सड़ी गली वस्तु के तुल्य हूं जो नाश हो जाती है, और कीड़ा खाए कपड़े के तुल्य हूँ।

28. where as I (notwithstondinge) must consume like as a foule carion, and as a cloth that is moth eaten.
