1. The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which are convenient to do quickly, and he sent and signified [it] by his angel unto his servant John,

3. Blessed is he that reads and those that hear the words of this prophecy and keep those things which are written therein, for the time [is] at hand.

10. I was in the Spirit in the day of the Lord and heard behind me a great voice as of a trumpet,

11. that said, I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, and What thou seest, write in a book and send [it] unto the seven churches which are in Asia: unto Ephesus and unto Smyrna and unto Pergamos and unto Thyatira and unto Sardis and unto Philadelphia and unto Laodicea.

12. And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks

13. और उन दीवटों के बीच में मनुष्य के पुत्रा सरीखा एक पुरूष को देखा, जो पांवों तक का वस्त्रा पहिने, और छाती पर सुनहला पटुका बान्धे हुए था।

19. Write the things which thou hast seen and the things which are and the things which must be after these.

20. अर्थात् उन सात तारों का भेद जिन्हें तू ने मेरे दहिने हाथ में देखा था, और उन सात सोने की दीवटों का भेद: वे सात तारे सातों कलीसियाओं के दूत हैं, और वे सात दीवट सात कलीसियाएं हैं।।

20. The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand and the seven golden candlesticks: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.:
