1. फिर स्वर्ग पर एक बड़ा चिन्ह दिखाई दिया, अर्थात् एक स्त्री जो सूरर्य ओढ़े हुए थी, और चान्द उसके पांवों तले था, और उसके सिर पर बारह तारों का मुकुट था।

7. फिर स्वर्ग पर लड़ाई हुई, मीकाईल और उसके स्वर्गदूत अजगर से लड़ने को निकले, और अजगर ओर उनके दूत उस से लड़े।

9. और वह बड़ा अजगर अर्थात् वही पुराना सांप, जो इब्लीस और शैतान कहलाता है, और सारे संसार का भरमानेवाला है, पृथ्वी पर गिरा दिया गया; और उसके दूत उसके साथ गिरा दिए गए।

10. फिर मैं ने स्वर्ग पर से यह बड़ा शब्द आते हुए सुना, कि अब हमारे परमेश्वर का उद्धार, और सामर्थ, और राज्य, और उसके मसीह का अधिकार प्रगट हुआ है; क्योंकि हमारे भाइयों पर दोष लगानेवाला, जो रात दिन हमारे परमेश्वर के साम्हने उन पर दोष लगाया करता था, गिरा दिया गया।

12. And they overcame him by the bloude of the lambe and by the worde of their testimony and they loved not their lyves vnto the deeth.

13. Therfore reioyce hevens and ye that dwell in them. Woo to the inhabiters of the erth and of the see: for ye devyll is come doune vnto you which hath greet wrath because he knoweth that he hath but a short tyme.

14. और उस स्त्री को बड़े उकाब के दो पंख दिए गए, कि सांप के साम्हने से उड़कर जंगल में उस जगह पहुंच जाए, जहां वह एक समय, और समयों, और आधे समय तक पाली जाए।

14. And when the dragon sawe that he was caste vnto the erth he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man chylde.

15. और सांप ने उस स्त्री के पीछे अपने मुंह से नदी की नाई पानी बहाया, कि उसे इस नदी से बहा दे।

15. And to the woman were geven two wynges of a great egle that she myght flye into the wyldrenes into her place where she is norysshed for a tyme tymes and halffe a tyme from the presence of the sarpent.

16. परन्तु पृथ्वी ने उस स्त्री की सहायता की, और अपना मुंह खोलकर उस नदी को जो अजगर ने अपने मुंह से बहाई थी, पी लिया।

16. And the dragon cast out of his mouth water after the woman as it had bene a ryver because she hulde have bene caught of the floud.

17. और अजगर स्त्री पर क्रोधित हुआ, और उसकी शेष सन्तान से जो परमेश्वर की आज्ञाओं को मानते, और यीशु की गवाही देने पर स्थिर हैं, लड़ने को गया। और वह समुद्र के बालू पर जा खड़ा हुआ।।

17. And the erth holpe the woman and the erth opened her mouth and swalowed vp the rever which the dragon cast out of hys mouth.
