1. दोष मत लगाओ, कि तुम पर भी दोष न लगाया जाए।

1. Ivdge not, that ye be not iudged:

2. क्योंकि जिस प्रकार तुम दोष लगाते हो, उसी प्रकार तुम पर भी दोष लगाया जाएगा; और जिस नाप से तुम नापते हो, उसी से तुम्हारे लिये भी नापा जाएगा।

2. For as ye iudge, so shal ye be iudged. And with what measure ye meete, with the same shall it be measured to you agayne.

3. तू क्यों अपने भाई की आंख के तिनके को देखता है, और अपनी आंख का लट्ठा तुझे नहीं सूझता? और जब तेरी ही आंख मे लट्ठा है, तो तू अपने भाई से क्योंकर कह सकता है, कि ला मैं तेरी आंख से तिनका निकाल दूं।

3. Why seist thou a moate in thy brothers eye, and perceauest not the beame yt is yn thine awne eye?

4. हे कपटी, पहले अपनी आंख में से लट्ठा निकाल ले, तक तू अपने भाई की आंख का तिनका भली भांति देखकर निकाल सकेगा।।

4. Or why saiest thou to yi brother: holde, I wil plucke the moate out of thyne eye, and beholde, a beame is in thyne awne eye.

5. पवित्रा वस्तु कुत्तों को न दो, और अपने मोती सूअरों के आगे मत डालो; ऐसा न हो कि वे उन्हें पांवों तले रौंदें और पलटकर तुम को फाड़ डालें।।

5. Ypocryte, fyrst cast out the beame out of thyne awne eye, and then shalt thou se clearly, to plucke out the moate out of thy brothers eye.

6. मोंगो, तो तुम्हें दिया जाएगा; ढूंढ़ो, तो तुम पाओगे; खटखटाओ, तो तुम्हारे लिये खोला जाएगा।

6. Geue not that which is holy, to dogges: nether cast ye youre pearles before swyne, lest they treade them vnder their fete, & the other turne agayne and all to rente you.

7. क्योंकि जो कोई मांगता है, उसे मिलता है; और जो ढूंढ़ता है, वह पाता है? और जो खटखटाता है, उसके लिये खोला जाएगा।

7. Axe, and it shalbe geuen you: Seke, and ye shall fynde: knocke, and it shalbe opened vnto you.

8. तुम में से ऐसा कौन मनुष्य है, कि यदि उसका पुत्रा उस से रोटी मांगे, तो वह उसे पत्थर दे?

8. For whosoeuer axeth, receaueth: and he that seketh, fyndeth: and to hym yt knocketh, it shal opened.

9. वा मछली मांगे, तो उसे सांप दे?

9. Ys there eny man amonge you, which yf his sonne axed hym bred, wolde offer him a stone?

10. सो जब तुम बुरे होकर, अपने बच्चों को अच्छी वस्तुएं देना जानते हो, तो तुम्हारा स्वर्गीय पिता अपने मांगनेवालों को अच्छी वस्तुएं क्यों न देगा?

10. Or yf he axed fysshe, wolde he proffer hym a serpent?

11. इस कारण जो कुछ तुम चाहते हो, कि मनुष्य तुम्हारे साथ करें, तुम भी उन के साथ वैसा ही करो; क्योंकि व्यवस्था और भविष्यद्वक्तओं की शिक्षा यही है।।

11. yf ye then which are euell, can geue youre chyldren good gyftes: how moche more shall youre father which is in heauen, geue good thynges to them that axe hym?

12. सकेत फाटक से प्रवेश करो, क्योंकि चौड़ा है वह फाटक और चाकल है वह मार्ग जो विनाश को पहुंचाता है; और बहुतेरे हैं जो उस से प्रवेश करते हैं।

12. Therfore what soeuer ye wolde that me shulde do to you, eue so do ye to them. This ys the lawe and the Prophetes.

13. क्योंकि सकेत है वह फाटक और सकरा है वह मार्ग जो जीवन को पहुंचाता है, और थोड़े हैं जो उसे पाते हैं।।

13. Enter in at the strayte gate: for wyde is the gate, and broade is the waye, that leadeth to destruccion: & many there be, which go in therat.

14. क्योंकि सकेत है वह फाटक और सकरा है वह मार्ग जो जीवन को पहुंचाता है, और थोड़े हैं जो उसे पाते हैं।

14. But strayte is the gate, and narowe ys the waye, which leadeth vnto lyfe, and fewe there be that fynde it.

15. झूठे भविष्यद्वक्ताओं से सावधान रहो, जो भेड़ों के भेष में तुम्हारे पास आते हैं, परन्तु अन्तर में फाड़नेवाले भेड़िए हैं।

15. Beware of false Prophetes, which come to you in shepes clothinge, but inwardly they are rauenynge wolues,

16. उन के फलों से तुम उन्हें पहचान लोगे क्या झाड़ियों से अंगूर, वा ऊंटकटारों से अंजीर तोड़ते हैं?

16. Ye shall knowe them by their frutes. Do men gather grapes of thornes? or figges of thistles?

17. इसी प्रकार हर एक अच्छा पेड़ अच्छा फल लाता है और निकम्मा पेड़ बुरा फल लाता है।

17. Euen so euery good tree bryngeth forth good frute. But a corrupte tree, bryngeth forth euyl frute,

18. अच्छा पेड़ बुरा फल नहीं ला सकता, और न निकम्मा पेड़ अच्छा फल ला सकता है।

18. A good tree can not bryng forth bad frute: nother can a rotten tre bringe forth good frute.

19. जो जो पेड़ अच्छा फल नहीं लाता, वह काटा और आग में डाला जाता है।

19. Euery tre that bryngeth not forth good frute, shalbe hewen downe, and cast into the fyre.

20. सो उन के फलों से तुम उन्हें पहचान लोगे।

20. Wherfore by their frutes ye shall knowe them.

21. जो मुझ से, हे प्रभु, हे प्रभु कहता है, उन में से हर एक स्वर्ग के राज्य में प्रवेश करेगा, परन्तु वही जो मेरे स्वर्गीय पिता की इच्छा पर चलता है।

21. Not all they that saye vnto me, LORDE LORDE, shall enter in to the kyngdome of heauen: but he that doth the will of my father which ys in heauen.

22. उस दिन बहुतेरे मुझ से कहेंगे; हे प्रभु, हे प्रभु, क्या हम ने तेरे नाम से भविष्यद्वाणी नहीं की, और तेरे नाम से दुष्टात्माओं को नहीं निकाला, और तेरे नाम से बहुत अचम्भे के काम नहीं किए?
यिर्मयाह 14:14, यिर्मयाह 27:15

22. Many shall saye to me in that daye: LORDE, LORDE: haue we not prophecied in thy name? Haue we not cast out deuyls in thy name? Haue we not done many greate dedes in thy name?

23. तब मैं उन से खुलकर कह दूंगा कि मैं ने तुम को कभी नहीं जाना, हे कुकर्म करनेवालों, मेरे पास से चले जाओ।
भजन संहिता 6:8

23. And then will I knowlege vnto them: I neuer knewe you, Departe fro me, ye workers of iniquite.

24. इसलिये जो कोई मेरी ये बातें सुनकर उन्हें मानता है वह उस बुद्विमान मनुष्य की नाई ठहरेगा जिस ने अपना घर चटान पर बनाया।

24. Whosoeuer therfore heareth of me these sayinges, and doeth the same, I wyll lycke hym vnto a wyse man, which buylt hys house vpon a rocke:

25. और मेंह बरसा और बाढ़ें आईं, और आन्धियां चलीं, और उस घर पर टक्करें लगीं, परन्तु वह नहीं गिरा, क्योंकि उस की नेव चटान पर डाली गई थी।

25. Now whan abundaunce of rayne descended, and the wyndes blewe and bet vpon that same house, it fel not, because it was grounded on the rocke.

26. परन्तु जो कोई मेरी ये बातें सुनता है और उन पर नहीं चलता वह उस निर्बुद्धि मनुष्य की नाईं ठहरेगा जिस ने अपना घर बालू पर बनाया।

26. And who soeuer heareth of me these sayinges, & doth the not, shalbe lyckened vnto a folysh ma, which buylt his housse apon the sonde:

27. और मेंह बरसा, और बाढ़ें आईं, और आन्धियां चलीं, और उस घर पर टक्करें लगीं और वह गिरकर सत्यानाश हो गया।।

27. Now whan abudaunce of rayne desceded, & the wyndes blewe, & bet vpon yt housse, it fell, and great was the fall of it.

28. जब यीशु ये बातें कह चुका, तो ऐसा हुआ कि भीड़ उसके उपदेश से चकित हुई।

28. And it came to passe, that when Iesus had ended these saynges, the people were astonnyed at hys doctryne.

29. क्योंकि वह उन के शास्त्रियों के समान नहीं परन्तु अधिकारी की नाई उन्हें उपदेश देता था।।

29. For he taught them as one hauynge power, and not as the Scribes.
