1. 'Rename your brothers 'God's Somebody.' Rename your sisters 'All Mercy.'

2. अपनी माता से विवाद करो, विवाद क्योंकि वह मेरी स्त्री नहीं और न मैं उसका पति हूं। वह अपने मुंह पर से अपने छिनालपन को और छातियों के बीच से व्यभिचारों को अलग करे;

7. She'll go on the hunt for her lovers but not bring down a single one. She'll look high and low but won't find a one. Then she'll say, 'I'm going back to my husband, the one I started out with. That was a better life by far than this one.'

9. I'm about to bring her up short: No more wining and dining! Silk lingerie and gowns are a thing of the past.

14. इसलिये देखो, मैं उसे मोहित करके जंगल में ले जाऊंगा, और वहंा उस से शान्ति की बातें कहूंगा।

14. 'And now, here's what I'm going to do: I'm going to start all over again. I'm taking her back out into the wilderness where we had our first date, and I'll court her.

15. और वहीं मैं उसको दाख की बारियां दूंगा, और आकोर की तराई को आशा का द्वार कर दूंगा और वहां वह मुझ से ऐसी बातें कहेगी जैसी अपनी जवानी के दिनों में अर्थात् मि देश से चले आने के समय कहती थी।

15. I'll give her bouquets of roses. I'll turn Heartbreak Valley into Acres of Hope. She'll respond like she did as a young girl, those days when she was fresh out of Egypt.

16. और यहोवा की यह वाणी है कि उस समय तू मुझे ईशी कहेगी और फिर बाली न कहेगी।

16. 'At that time'--this is GOD's Message still-- 'you'll address me, 'Dear husband!' Never again will you address me, 'My slave-master!'

17. क्योंकि भविष्य में मैं उसे बाल देवताओं के नाम न लेने दूंग; और न उनके नाम फिर स्मरण में रहेंगे।

17. I'll wash your mouth out with soap, get rid of all the dirty false-god names, not so much as a whisper of those names again.

18. और उस समय मैं उनके लिये वन- पशुओं और आकाश के पक्षियों और भूमि पर के रेंगनेवाले जन्तुओं के साथ वाचा बान्धूंगा, और धनुष और तलवार तोड़कर युद्ध को उनके देश से दूर कर दूंगा; और ऐसा करूंगा कि वे लोग निडर सोया करेंगे।

18. At the same time I'll make a peace treaty between you and wild animals and birds and reptiles, And get rid of all weapons of war. Think of it! Safe from beasts and bullies!

19. और मैं सदा के लिये तुझे अपनी स्त्री करने की प्रतिज्ञा करूंगा, और यह प्रतिज्ञा धर्म, और न्याय, और करूंणा, और दया के साथ करूंगा।

19. And then I'll marry you for good--forever! I'll marry you true and proper, in love and tenderness.

20. और यह सच्चाई के साथ की जाएगी, और तू यहोवा को जान लेगी।।

20. Yes, I'll marry you and neither leave you nor let you go. You'll know me, GOD, for who I really am.

21. और यहोवा की यह वाणी है कि उस समय मैं आकाश की सुनकर उसको उत्तर दूंगा, और वह पृथ्वी की सुनकर उसे उत्तर देगा;

21. 'On the very same day, I'll answer'--this is GOD's Message-- 'I'll answer the sky, sky will answer earth,

22. और पृथ्वी अन्न, नये दाखमधु, और ताजे तेल की सुनकर उनको उत्तर देगी, और वे यिज्रेल को उत्तर देंगे।

22. Earth will answer grain and wine and olive oil, and they'll all answer Jezreel.

23. और मैं अपने लिये उसे देश में बोऊंगा, और लोरूहामा पर दया करूंगा, और लोअम्मी से कहूंगा, तू मेरी प्रजा है, और वह कहेगा, 'हे मेरे परमेश्वर'।।
