1. फिर यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुंचा,

1. The worde of the Lorde came vnto me, saying:

2. हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, प्रभु यहोवा इस्राएल की भूमि के विषय में यों कहता है, कि अन्त हुआ; चारों कोनों समेत देश का अन्त आ गया है।
प्रकाशितवाक्य 7:1, प्रकाशितवाक्य 20:8

2. And thou sonne of man, thus saith the Lorde God, an ende is come vnto the lande of Israel: yea veryly the ende commeth vpon the foure corners of the lande.

3. तेरा अन्त भी आ गया, और मैं अपना कोप तुझ पर भड़काकर तेरे चालचलन के अनुसार तुझे दण्ड दूंगा; और तेरे सारे घिनौने कामों का फल तुझे दूंगा।

3. Nowe shall the ende come vpon thee: for I wyll sende my wrath vpon thee, and wyll punishe thee accordyng to thy wayes, and rewarde thee after all thine abhominations.

4. मेरी दयादृष्टि तुझ पर न होगी, और न मैं कोतलता करूंगा; और जब तक तेरे घिनौने पाप तुझ में बने रहेंगे तब तक मैं तेरे चालचलन का फल तुझे दूंगा। तब तू जान लेगा कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।

4. Mine eye shall not spare thee, neither wyll I haue pitie, but rewarde thee accordyng to thy wayes, & declare thine abhominations: then shall ye knowe that I am the Lorde.

5. प्रभु यहोवा यों कहता है, विपत्ति है, एक बड़ी विपत्ति है ! देखो, वह आती है।

5. Thus saith the Lorde God, Beholde, one euyll shall come after another:

6. अन्त आ गया है, सब का अन्त आया है; वह तेरे विरूद्ध जागा है। देखो, वह आता है।

6. The ende is here, the ende [I say] is come, it watched for thee: beholde it is come alredy.

7. हे देश के निवासी, तेरे लिये चक्र घूम चुका, समय आ गया, दिन निकट है; पहाड़ों पर आनन्द के शब्द का दिन नहीं, हुल्लड़ ही का होगा।

7. The mornyng is come vnto thee that dwellest in the lande, the tyme is at hande, the day of trouble is harde by, and not the foundyng agayne of the mountaynes.

8. अब थोड़े दिनों में मैं अपनी जलजलाहट तुझ पर भड़काऊंगा, और तुझ पर पूरा कोप उण्डेलूंगा और तेरे चालचलन के अनुसार तुझे दण्ड दूंगा। और तेरे सारे घिनौने कामों का फल तुझे भुगताऊंगा।

8. Nowe I wyll shortly poure out my sore displeasure ouer thee, and fulfyll my wrath vpon thee: I wyll iudge thee after thy wayes, and recompence thee all thine abhominations.

9. मेरी दयादृष्टि तुझ पर न होगी और न मैं तुझ पर कोपलता करूंगा। मैं तेरी चालचलन का फल तुझे भुगताऊंगा, और तेरे घिनौने पाप तुझ में बने रहेंगे। तब तुम जान लोगे कि मैं यहोवा दण्ड देनेवाला हूँ।

9. Mine eye shall not spare, neither wyll I haue pitie, but rewarde thee after thy wayes, & thine abhominations shalbe in the middest of thee: and ye shal knowe that I am the Lorde that smiteth.

10. देखो, उस दिन को देखो, वह आता है ! चक्र घूम चुका, छड़ी फूल चुकी, अभिमान फूला है।

10. Beholde the day, beholde it is come, the mornyng is gone foorth, the rodde florisheth, pride hath budded.

11. उपद्रव बढ़ते बढ़ते दुष्टता का दण्ड बन गया; उन में से कोई न बचेगा, और न उनकी भीड़- भाड़, न उनके धन में से कुछ रहेगा; और न उन में से किसी के लिये विलाप सुन पड़ेगा।

11. Crueltie is waxen to a rodde of wickednesse, none of them shall remayne, none of their riches, not one of their seede, & no lamentation shalbe made for them.

12. समय आ गया, दिन निकट आ गया है; न तो मोल लेनेवाला आनन्द करे और न बेचनेवाला शोक करे, क्योंकि उनकी सारी भीड़ पर कोप भड़क उठा है।

12. The tyme commeth, the day draweth nye: who so byeth let hym not reioyce, he that selleth let hym not be sory: for why? wrath is vpon all the multitude therof.

13. चाहे वे जीवित रहें, तौभी बेचनेवाला बेची हुई वस्तु के पास कभी लौटने न पाएगा; क्योंकि दर्शन की यह बात देश की सारी भीड़ पर घटेगी; कोई न लौटेगा; कोई भी मनुष्य, जो अधर्म में जीवित रहता है, बल न पकड़ सकेगा।

13. So that the seller not come againe to the thyng that he solde, although their life be yet with the lyuyng: for when the prophecie was preached vnto all the people, none returned, no man shal strengthen hym selfe in the iniquitie of his life.

14. उन्होंने नरसिंगा फूंका और सब कुछ तैयार कर दिया; परन्तु युठ्ठ में कोई नहीं जाता क्योंकि देश की सारी भीड़ पर मेरा कोप भड़का हुआ है।

14. They haue blowen the trumpet, and made all redy, but none goeth to the battayle: for my wrath is vpon the whole multitude.

15. बाहर तलवार और भीतर महंगी और मरी हैं; जो मैदान में हो वह तलवार से मरेगा, और जोे नगर में हो वह भूख और मरी से मारा जाएगा।

15. The sworde shalbe without, pestilence and hunger within: so that who so is in the fielde shalbe slayne with the sworde, and he that is in the citie shalbe deuoured with hunger and pestilence.

16. और उन में से जो बच निकलेंगे वे बचेंगे तो सही परन्तु अपने अपने अधर्म में फसे रहकर तराइयों में रहनेवाले कबूतरों की नाई पहाड़ों के ऊपर विलाप करते रहेंगे।

16. But they that flee away from them shall escape, and shalbe in the mountaynes lyke the doues of the valleys, all they shall mourne, euery one for his iniquitie.

17. सब के हाथ ढीले और सब के घुटने अति निर्बल हो जाएंगे।

17. All handes shalbe let downe, and all knees shalbe weake as the water.

18. और वे कमर में टाट कसेंगे, और उनके रोए खड़े होंगे; सब के मुंह सूख जाएंगे और सब के सिर मूंड़े जाएंगे।

18. They shall girde them selues with sackcloth, feare shall couer them, shame shalbe vpon all faces, and baldnesse vpon their heades.

19. वे अपनी चान्दी सड़कों में फेंक देंगे, और उनका सोना अशुठ्ठ वस्तु छहरेगा; यहोवा की जलन के दिन उनका सोना चान्दी उनको बचा न सकेगी, न उस से उनका जी सन्तुष्ट होगा, न उनके पेट भरेंगे। क्योंकि वह उनके अधर्म के ठोकर का कारण हुआ है।

19. Their siluer shall they cast foorth in the streetes, and their golde shalbe dispised: yea their siluer and golde shall not be able to deliuer them in the day of the wrath of the Lorde, they shall not satisfie their soules, neither fyll their bellyes therwith, because it was a stumblyng blocke of their iniquitie.

20. उनका देश जो शोभायमान और शिरोमणि था, उसके विषय में उन्हों ने गर्व ही गर्व करके उस में अपनी घृणित वस्तु ओं की मूरतें, और घृणित वस्तुएं बना रखीं, इस कारण मैं ने उसे उनके लिये अशुठ्ठ वस्तु ठहराया हे।

20. He had also set the beautie of his ornament in maiestie: but they made images of their abhominations and fylthinesses in it, therfore haue I set it farre from them.

21. और मैं उसे लूटने के लिये परदेशियों के हाथ, और घन छाीनने के लिये पृथ्वी के बुष्ट लोगों के वश में कर दूंगा; और वे उसे अपवित्रा कर डालेंगे।

21. Moreouer, I wyll geue it into the handes of straungers to be spoyled, & to the wicked of the earth for to be robbed, and they shall pollute it.

22. मैं उन से मुंह फेर लूंगा, तब वे मेरे रक्षित स्थान को अपवित्रा करेंगे; डाकू उस में घुसकर उसे अपवित्रा करेंगे;

22. My face wyll I turne from them, my secrete place shalbe defiled: for burglers shall go into it and pollute it.

23. एक सांकल बना दे, क्योंकि देश अन्याय की हत्या से, और नगर उपद्रव से भरा हुआ है।

23. Make a chayne: for the lande is full of the iudgement of blood, and the citie is full of extortion.

24. मैं अन्यजातियों के बुरे से बुरे लोगों को लाऊंगा, जो उनके घरों के स्वामी हो जाएंगे; और मैं सामर्थियों का गर्व तोड़ दूंगा और उनके पवित्रास्थान अपवित्रा किए जाएंगे।

24. Wherfore I wyll bryng the most wicked of the heathen to take their houses in possession, I wyll make the pompe of the mightie to ceasse, and their sanctuaries shalbe defyled.

25. सत्यानाश होने पर है तब ढूंढ़ने पर भी उन्हें शान्ति न मिलेंगी।

25. When destruction is come, they shall seeke peace, but they shall haue none.

26. विपत्ति पर विपत्ति आएगी और उड़ती हुई चर्चा पर चर्चा सुनाई पड़ेगी; और लोग भविष्यद्वक्ता से दर्शन की बात पूछेंगे, परन्तु याजक के पास से व्यवस्था, और पुरनिये के पास से सम्मति देने की शक्ति जाती रहेगी।

26. One mischiefe shall folowe another, and one rumour shall come after another: then shall they seeke a vision in vayne at their prophete, the lawe shall perishe from the priest, and counsayle from the auncientes.

27. राजा तो शोक करेगा, और रईस उदासीरूपी वस्त्रा पहिनेंगे, और देश के लोगों के हाथ ढीले पड़ेंगे। मैं उनके चलन के अनुसार उन से बर्ताव करूंगा, और उनकी कमाई के समान उनको दण्ड दूंगा; तब वे जान लेंगे कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।

27. The kyng shall mourne, the prince shalbe clothed with desolation, and the handes of the people in the lande shalbe troubled: I wyll do vnto them after their owne wayes, accordyng to their owne iudgementes wyll I iudge them: and they shall knowe that I am the Lorde.
