1. फिर यहोवा का यह वचन मेरे पास पहुंचा,

1. And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2. हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, अपना मुंह मागोग देश के गोग की ओर करके, जो रोश, मेशेक और तूबल का प्रधान है, उसके विरूद्ध भविष्यद्वाणी कर।
प्रकाशितवाक्य 20:8

2. Son of man, set thy face against Gog in [the] land of Magog, prince of the capital of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy over him,

3. और यह कह, हे गोग, हे रोश, मेशेक, और तूबल के प्रधान, परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, देख, मैं तेरे विरूद्ध हूँ।

3. and say, Thus hath the Lord GOD said: Behold, I [come] unto thee, O Gog, prince of the capital of Meshech and Tubal;

4. मैं तुझे घुमा ले आऊंगा, और तेरे जबड़ों में आंकड़े डालकर तुझे निकालूंगा; और तेरी सारी सेना को भी अर्थात् घोड़ों और सवारों को जो सब के सब कवच पहिने हुए एक बड़ी भीड़ हैं, जो फरी और ढाल लिए हुए सब के सब तलवार चलानेवाले होंगे;

4. and I will break thee and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts [of armour], [even] a great company [with] bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:

5. और उनके संग फारस, कूश और पूत को, जो सब के सब ढाल लिए और टोप लगाए होंगे;

5. Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them, all of them with shield and helmet:

6. और गोमेर और उसके सारे दलों को, और उत्तर दिशा के दूर दूर देशों के तोगर्मा के घराने, और उसके सारे दलों को निकालूंगा; तेरे संग बहुत से देशों के लोग होंगे।

6. Gomer and all his companies; the house of Togarmah that dwells to the sides of the north and all his companies [and] many peoples with thee.

7. इसलिये तू तैयार हो जा; तू और जितनी भीड़ तेरे पास इकट्ठी हों, तैयार रहना, और तू उनका अगुवा बनना।

7. Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.

8. बहुत दिनों के बीतने पर तेरी सुधि ली जाएगी; और अन्त के वष में तू उस देश में आएगा, जो तलवार के वश से छूटा हुआ होगा, और जिसके निवासी बहुत सी जातियों में से इकट्ठे होंगे; अर्थात् तू इस्राएल के पहाड़ों पर आएगा जो निरन्तर उजाड़ रहे हैं; परन्तु वे देश देश के लोगों के वश से छुड़ाए जाकर सब के सब निडर रहेंगे।

8. After many days thou shalt be visited; at the end of years thou shalt come to the land broken by the sword, gathered out of many peoples, to the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste; but she is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

9. तू चढ़ाई करेगा, और आंधी की नाई आएगा, और अपने सारे दलों और बहुत देशों के लोगों समेत मेघ के समान देश पर छा जाएगा।

9. Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm; thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy companies and many peoples with thee.

10. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, उस दिन तेरे मन में ऐसी ऐसी बातें आएंगी कि तू एक बुरी युक्ति भी निकालेगा;

10. Thus hath the Lord GOD said: It shall also come to pass in that day, that words shall rise up in thy heart, and thou shalt conceive an evil thought:

11. और तू कहेगा कि मैं बिन शहरपनाह के गांवों के देश पर चढ़ाई करूंगा; मैं उन लोगों के पास जाऊंगा जो चैन से निडर रहते हैं; जो सब के सब बिना शहरपनाह ओर बिना बेड़ों और पल्लों के बसे हुए हैं;

11. and thou shalt say, I will go up against the land of unwalled villages; I will go [against] those that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

12. ताकि छीनकर तू उन्हें लूटे और अपना हाथ उन खण्डहरों पर बढ़ाए जो फिर बसाए गए, और उन लोगों के विरूद्ध फेरे जो जातियों में से इट्ठे हुए थे और पृथ्वी की नाभी पर बसे हुए ढोर और और सम्पत्ति रखते हैं।

12. to take a spoil and to take a prey, to turn thine hand upon the desolate places [that are now] inhabited and upon the people [that are] gathered out of the Gentiles, who have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the navel of the land.

13. शबा और ददान के लोग और तश श के व्योपारी अपने देश के सब जवान सिंहों समेत तुझ से कहेंगे, क्या तू लूटने को आता है? क्या तू ने धन छीनने, सोना- चाँदी उठाने, ढोर और और सम्पत्ति ले जाने, और बड़ी लूट अपना लेने को अपनी भीड़ इकट्टी की है?

13. Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

14. इस कारण, हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, भविष्यद्वाणी करके गोग से कह, परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, जिस समय मेरी प्रजा इस्राएल निडर बसी रहेगी, क्या तुझे इसका समाचार न मिलेगा?

14. Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog: Thus hath the Lord GOD said: In that time when my people of Israel shall dwell securely, shalt thou not know [it]?

15. और तू उत्तर दिशा के दूर दूर स्थानों से आएगा; तू और तेरे साथ बहुत सी जातियों के लोग, जो सब के सब घोड़ों पर चढ़े हुए होंगे, अर्थात् एक बड़ी भीड़ और बलवन्त सेना।

15. And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many peoples with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:

16. और जैसे बादल भूमि पर छा जाता है, वैसे ही तू मेरी प्रजा इस्राएल के देश पर ऐसे चढ़ाई करेगा। इसलिये हे गोग, अन्त के दिनों में ऐसा ही होगा, कि मैं तुझ से अपने देश पर इसलिये चढ़ाई कराऊंगा, कि जब मैं जातियों के देखते तेरे द्वारा अपने को पवित्रा ठहराऊं, तब वे मुझे पहिचान लेंगे।

16. and thou shalt come up against my people of Israel as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be at the end of the days, and [I]will bring thee upon my land, that the Gentiles may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

17. परमेश्वर यहोवा यों कहता है, क्या तू वही नहीं जिसकी चर्चा मैं ने प्राचीनकाल में अपने दासों के, अर्थात् इस्राएल के उन भविष्यद्वक्ताओं द्वारा की थी, जो उन दिनों में वष तक यह भविष्यद्वाणी करते गए, कि यहोवा गोग से इस्राएलियों पर चढ़ाई कराएगा?

17. Thus hath the Lord GOD said: [Art] thou not he of whom I have spoken in days past by my servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those times that I would have to bring thee upon them?

18. और जिस दिन इस्राएल के देश पर गोग चढ़ाई करेगा, उसी दिन मेरी जलजलाहट मेरे मुख से प्रगट होगी, परमेश्वर यहोवा की यही वाणी है।

18. And it shall come to pass in that time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, said the Lord GOD, [that] my fury shall rise up in my anger.

19. और मैं ने जलजलाहट और क्रोध की आग में कहा कि निेसन्देह उस दिन इस्राएल के देश में बड़ा भुईडोल होगा।

19. For in my jealousy [and] in the fire of my wrath I have spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking upon the land of Israel,

20. और मेरे दर्शन से समुद्र की मछलियां और आकाश के पक्षी, मैदान के पशु और भूमि पर जितने जीवजन्तु रेंगते हैं, और भूमि के ऊपर जितने मनुष्य रहते हैं, सब कांप उठेंगे; और पहाड़ गिराए जाएंगे; और चढ़ाइयां नाश होंगी, और सब भीतें गिरकर मिट्टी में मिल जाएंगी।

20. so that the fishes of the sea and the fowls of the heaven and the beasts of the field and every serpent that walks by dragging [itself] upon the earth, and all the men that [are] upon the face of the earth, shall shake before my presence, and the mountains shall be ruined, and the stairs shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

21. परमेश्वर यहोवा की यह वाणी है कि मैं उसके विरूद्ध तलवार चलाने के लिये अपने सब पहाड़ों को पुकारूंगा और हर एक की तलवार उसके भाई के विरूद्ध उठेगी।

21. And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, said the Lord GOD: each man's sword shall be against his brother.

22. और मैं मरी और इून के द्वारा उस से मुक मा लड़ूंगा; और उस पर और उसके दलों पर, और उन बहुत सी जातियों पर जो उसके पास होंगी, मैं बड़ी झड़ी लगाऊंगा, और ओले और आग और गन्धक बरसाऊंगा।

22. And I will litigate against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him and upon his companies and upon the many peoples that [are] with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.

23. इस प्रकार मैं अपने को महान और पवित्रा ठहराऊंगा और बहुत सी जातियों के साम्हने अपने को प्रगट करूंगा। तब वे जान लेंगी कि मैं यहोवा हूँ।

23. And I will be magnified and sanctified, and I will be known in the eyes of many Gentiles, and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.:
